- In the twenty second episode of Season 3 of the Minecraft Transit Railway Let's Play series, we visit the Gyeongchun Line and the Gyeongchun Express.
Minecraft Transit Railway is a Minecraft mod based on Hong Kong's MTR, the London Underground, and the New York Subway. It adds trains, boats, cable cars, and planes to the game along with other miscellaneous blocks and items. With this mod, it is possible to build a fully functional railway system in your world!

The reason for the lack of level boarding on both the London Underground and the wider UK network more generally, is because it is the oldest railway network in the world, and at the time they were building it, no-one thought that might be a good idea. Over time, as other countries thought it would be good and implemented it, the UK continued to make excuses to not do it.
And, we keep shooting ourselves in the foot as well, with recent projects such as the Elizabeth Line being built to a non-standard and thus incompatible platform height for the rest of the network, and HS2 being built with higher platforms than the national standard, meaning those trains also won't be compatible with the national network. It's bonkers, honestly.

I would love seeing a modded survival series from you. It would be interesting to see someone playing the MTR mod in survival since most people primarily use it in Creative. It could also be a good opportunity to redo your old tutorials as let's play series are great for showing how to do things in a mod as it's in a real environment as opposed to a test world

Hello. First of all, thanks for visiting my network. In below, I would like to give you a brief answer and additional information on the questions mentioned in the video.
First, the difference between the train and the platform occurred because the height of floor on Korean trains was higher than 1m. Irl, there is no step difference for commuter rail and subway, so people can get on and off quickly, but in the case of long-distance trains, they are usually taken by stairs.
Secondly, this line is based on the actual Gyeongchun Line(京春線 경춘선), and both the local and express trains run on the Gyeongchun Line. The local train was put in when this line was converted from the regional rail to the commuter rail in 2010, and the express was the ITX - Cheongchun train that began operating in 2012. Irl ITX train requires paper tickets or separate online ticket issuance, unlike commuter rail and subways.
Third, Gyeongchun Line is called Romance and Youth Train, and it is characterized by many entertainment and lodging facilities around the line. With the transition to commuter rail, the route has been straightened and accelerated, reducing its antique appeal, but many people are still using it.
Fourth, Chinese Alphabet used in Korea is called 'Hanja(漢字 한자)' and has a separate pronunciation method. Most of the words used in Korean based on Chinese characters. Korea has a low rate of using Chinese characters in written, but most stations have Chinese characters marked together.
Finally, the Sumeru Metro Southwest Line is based on the Sydney Metro and uses a custom texture that reduces the six-car train to four. Some stations on this line refer to the design of stations on the Sydney Metro.
Btw, the pronunciation of Chuncheon(春川 춘천) and Gyeongchun Line in the beginning of the video was almost the same as it was. And I like the pronunciation of Maseok(磨石) Station in Cantonese.
Hey Jonathan! Nice mod you made there. I've been using it for quite a while now and built a small city with a fully working metro system and I started building roads for cars (Immersive Vehicles) and I thought, that you could maybe implement bus-lines/routes in your mod? It would be quite the cool addition to see!
