Pretty rad!!!! I'm even happier they went with the original arrangement (almost like the landscape tantrums recording with the extended ambient movement before the "Fripp Frantic" Omar guitar riff! Seeing as it has replaced Cygnus in the setlist, I have a feeling they are going to let the live improv between the bass solo and psychedelic crescendo "Evolve" through the rest of the tour (very much like they did during 2003)! I saw both 2003 Chicago shows and I so wish a recording (w/ bass solo) will surface from the metro show. There's a small snippet video of the crescendo on you tube which has this really cool part I've only heard during veil on recordings from 2004 versions (Tokyo shows and then Denver from March 2004). If you can track it down, the recording from Albuquerque 2004, is a REALLY incredible version!!!! I have to say it's also really awesome they have ditched that 2005 arrangement (saw them do that twice version twice and it really didn't pack the punch that previous arrangement(s) had)!
Just saw them last night, haven't seen this song since 2005. I was suprised how good the show was. They canceled their last 3 shows in Cincy, so the place went nuts all night. The 🍄 made it👌 Very nostalgic for me.
I've been a fan for over 10 years and finally managed to see them on this tour. Just needed to travel 8500km lol, so worth it. It was everything I hope for and even more.

I am seeing them next weekend and I would love for them to play Take The Veil. It's my favorite song. This tour has had lots of great choices for inclusion, though.
Omar teased the Fripp like solo during the build up from the quiet part of cicatriz at riot fest! I posted a video of it. They also teased the intro interlude (they used back in the 2003 shows) after televators in Chicago last October. I thought "omg... they are gonna close with veil!" And then they segued into son et lumiere... I was like "damn"
