Interesting experiment, I’ve never given much thought on the stems and veins when it comes to taste, but it makes sense that they’d intensify the flavours. I surely wouldn’t like any increase in bitterness though 😅. Holding the ash nicely!👍 Regards
The guys on the forum found it interesting and so did I. It's fun to actually test theories instead of guessing or other people's word. One thing I forgot to mention though was the tongue bite! I got bit, not sure if it was the stems or wet tobacco.

I was surprised too, now I usually keep a few small stems in most of my own cigars.

Yeah, this was a great experiment, now I always leave a few stems in to add flavor.
