Thanks for the scoop on this cigar Anthony. I just bought this cigar but haven't smoked it yet but you make it sound like my kind of cigar. Praise Yaweh!! I will soon be going up in smoke with the tabernacle. I think the trend now is getting that right blend that knows how to trigger that second helping. Puros are more of the old fashion way of cigar manufacturing, although they have their market niche and hard knox followers particularly with Cubans, if you can get them in America LOL!!! I love your sophisticated laid back approach when making your cigar reviews, your knowledge and enthusiasm never ceases to make your listeners lose your attention or lose faith in your cigar expertise. SALUTE!!
I just broke open a fiver (Doble Corona, 7x54) and am blown away. I'm on the final third, it and just placed an order for a box of the same vitola. I got them on sale at CP for $208, which is about half what I pay for a box of LP T52s. These cigars are just as good as the T52s, and another great addition to the Foundation line. If you like strong, full flavored cigars highly recommended.
Love this review. I was just gifted three Foundation cigars for Xmas: The Tabernacle Toro, Torpedo & The Menelik Robusto. All three are phenomenal! Especially love the broadleaf.
I have had a small selection of Foundation cigars in my box for about six months. Starting my journey tonight with the Tabernacle original. What an amazing smoke. So rich and complex. I am enjoying this immensely and am looking forward to the other five or so even more now. Since I usually only smoke a truly premium stick once or twice a week this should be a great month for me.
That cigar taste amazing!!! It Replaced my Hemingway and La flor, padron, plus aroma de Cuba & aging room, plasencia . It just tasted freaking amazing . I was just smoking it at Cesar’s in Las Vegas . I just couldn’t believe how tasty it tasted every single puff . I was smoking it along with guy from ESPN . Steve levy , he was smoking La flor dominicana Maduro.
Grabbed a few sticks at a shop in Austin when visiting this weekend and this was one thanks to some youtubers suggestions but every sngle one has a review on this channel. One of my favorite channels to watch for this hobby.
Hello brother I’m a huge fan of you and your show! And I’m a huge fan of the Tabernacle! I get a lot of dark roast coffee, rich dark chocolate and pepper taste notes when smoking these! Out of all the sizes I believe the robusto has the best to offer! Thank you for being such a huge role model and mentor for me, and for what you continue to do for the Cigar Community! God bless!!👊💨👍
Mazz...exceptional review of a great stick. I love Nick's blending and Tabernacles. Another banger of a review Brother. Such a concise breakdown of the different tobaccos and the characteristics based on region. I always learn someting when I tune in. The production value of your videos are also unmatched. The B roll footage is just sick and the editing is top notch. Keep up the awesome work and all the best in the New Year...!
Anthony, you have just reviewed one of my favorite cigars. It definitely builds in strength. First third gave excellent flavor and aroma. Second third actually got me sick. I need to smoke it a bit slower maybe. Still a great cigar!
Next time smoke on a full stomach and have some candy, soda, or anything with a little sugar in it to accompany the cigar and you should be able to get it down to a nub! Thanks for watching
It pairs perfectly with a good root beer. Should help with that next time. This is one you want to smoke slowly anyway just to stretch out the experience.
Wasn't sure what stick I was gonna try next from foundation. The Olmec Maduro was amazing. Guess the Tabernacle will be the one. Thanks for another informative video Mazz. Respect!
One of my go to cigars please don’t give it to much attention because I won’t to be able to get my hand on them. Not like Liga 9 I think they are on the same level
I live in holland too. If you’ve got the time, drive to cigar world in Düsseldorf. They have them and many other brands that are difficult to get here, like Dunbarton.
Tabernacle Broadleaf is one of the best cigars on the market, even better is the Tabernacle Havana Seed CT #142, the better of the two in my opinion. If your a fan of the Liga 9 you’ll be a fan of the tabernacle Broadleaf, if your a fan of Liga T52 you’ll love the Tabernacle Havana..
Waiting for you to get around to reviewing the the tabernacle, A1 products coming from foundation this one is a staple and must have if u haven’t tried it already. Enjoy!
Has anyone else had problems with the draw being way too tight on these? Ive tried 5 or 6 different cigars from foundation and had construction issues on almost every one of them. Maybe its just bad luck i dont know.
Mazz, I throughly enjoy learning from you. I have a question for you. From time to time I pick a new brand or blend that I do not necessarily enjoy. Is there a blend or specific cigar you do not enjoy smoking?
I’ve had cigars they I haven’t enjoyed. Taste is personal so what didn’t appeal to me might appeal to others. I’d rather focus on all the cigars I have enjoyed.
Love the cigar but not sure how anything about it has to do with Ethiopia or Salassie, and somehow they even gave Nick the knights cross just for using the guys image to sell cigars.
Yea when I see the Ethiopian king that made me want to research this brand definitely look cool as hell on the wrapper still shocked they are allowed to use his face
Some other great options for special occasion smokes would be Ashton ESG, Fuente Opus X, Padron 1926 Series #90, Davidoff Aniversario just to name a few. Hopefully something off this list checks all your boxes!
Foundation is a weird cigar brand. I’ve smoked multiple Olmecs in various sizes and they have always been a great smoke. I’ve tried multiple times to smoke The Wise Man and Wise Man Maduro in multiple sizes and every single one of them has been plugged so bad they were un-smokeable. They got #3 cigar of the year but all the independent reviews of them I’ve read have reported the same problem of them being plugged.
One of the best broadleaf offerings available.
You ain’t lying!
Glad you think so!
I would have to Say this one and Tatuaje Broadleaf.
Dead-on summary. Glad you’re giving it the praise it’s long-earned.
I absolutely love this one & the 142!
To me the tabranacle is leagues beyond a liga #9. Such a good stick man
Smoking one right now. Liga is King. It's just not even close.
Foundation makes great cigars . People make lists i don’t think I could I love me all different gars . This dames a gazer sure . Smooth in the gills .
The Foundation Tabernacle is my absolute favorite production cigar. Between this and Mi Querida, the Liga can eat it's heart out.
Phenomenal cigar! My top 3. Got plenty in my humidors…👌
👏👏

What’s CP?
Love this review. I was just gifted three Foundation cigars for Xmas:

You must've been very good this year 😂
Definitely one of my favorite cigars! The broadleaf is awesome! Also, the Lancero of this blend is top-tier
Oh definitely!
I have one of these in my humidor but I've yet to smoke it. I'll try it on my next smoke..Great video. I look forward to it.
Top tier quality and flavor at a super reasonable price. Easily punches 3-5 dollars above asking.

thank you for watching 👊
Great review!! I too enjoy that Cigar!!
Becoming one of my favorites very quickly
Nick has done well. And he has one of the best budget sticks with the Charter Oak Habano. An incredible $8 smoke!

A beautiful cigar. I originally purchased it because I saw Selasie on the box, but oh does this Cigar smoke well!! Great review!
Love the size 👏🏼👏🏼 Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦
Definitely one if the best cigars on the market today if you like Connecticut Broadleaf.
I just picked one up for myself. I’m really excited to try it out
You're in for a treat!
Just an absolute pleasure of a stick. Purchase every time I find them.
Had one two days ago. Excellent smoke!
One of my favorite cigars
Of course I go to order them and you guys hit me with the NOTIFY tab because you're all out😂
Mazz...exceptional review of a great stick. I love Nick's blending and Tabernacles.

Much appreciated! Happy New Year
The Goliath is my go to
Great Review. In my Top 3 to smoke!
Just had the Tabernacle Havana Seed CT 142. Such a great cigar👌🏼Gonna try this one next 😎
My favorite stick at the moment 😊
Will need to try it !

This one goes great with a good espresso or latte macchiato.
One of my favorites, but I have a hard time finding the double corona in my local market.
Smooth on the draw...great cigar
Gorgeous cigar ! How much $$ ?
Love these cigars my go too
Added to my list!
Wasn't sure what stick I was gonna try next from foundation. The Olmec Maduro was amazing. Guess the Tabernacle will be the one. Thanks for another informative video Mazz. Respect!
Hope you enjoy 👊
👊
Love broadleaf wrappers , great video as always Mazz...enjoying an Oliva V dbl robusto now , love the spice & sweetness the Sumatra wrapper gives.
Cheers Ken!
Amazing cigar!!
Lancero is great
In my top 5
Obviously a sophisticated palate, brother!
🙌
Great cigar!
Love The Tabernacle. Reminds me of the Le Bijiou 1922. Similar sweet and salty and coffee. I also love Olmec Maduro by Foundation.
One of my go to cigars please don’t give it to much attention because I won’t to be able to get my hand on them. Not like Liga 9 I think they are on the same level
Liga is good but overrated, especially when tabernacles can be easily found.
Great review. When I walk in to a lounge and they don’t have Foundation cigars I am very disappointed.
hopefully they will also come to Holland. And to be exact to 'Helmond'. (next to eindhoven) Happy New Year!!
I live in holland too. If you’ve got the time, drive to cigar world in Düsseldorf. They have them and many other brands that are difficult to get here, like Dunbarton.
Hopefully you are ale to find a way to enjoy some. Happy New Year!

Unknowing I bought a liga 9 and this same day. Felt like the same cigar
Waiting for you to get around to reviewing the the tabernacle, A1 products coming from foundation this one is a staple and must have if u haven’t tried it already. Enjoy!
Nicee break down bub..smoke on😉✌
Is STOGIE a slang term for cigar??
Yes! "Stogie" comes when cigars used to be made in Conestoga, Pennsylvania and were named stogies for short
These are so good 🔥
No doubt 🤤
Look good like have 1
Been smoking cigars for a while and this one was strong as hell. Thought I had nicotine poisoning 😂
Has anyone else had problems with the draw being way too tight on these? Ive tried 5 or 6 different cigars from foundation and had construction issues on almost every one of them. Maybe its just bad luck i dont know.
My #1 reasonable $ cigars right now, Havana seed 42 is the best. Better then liga 9, no mineral oils.
love that cigar, but its powerful strong for me ..
Mazz, I throughly enjoy learning from you. I have a question for you. From time to time I pick a new brand or blend that I do not necessarily enjoy.

Always re try a brand cigars taste can be affected by the way they were stored even in cigar shops they be stored improperly
So always try it twice
I need to branch out into foundation cigars
💯💯💯
I think this blend is actually a colab with the master AJ Fernandez, this is one of those cigars that you know is good just hearing about it.
Right on the money, this blend is made by AJ Fernandez for Foundation
We need a full length review on an Opus X now that it’s the number 1 cigar of the year
👀
This is hard to get rn
Love the cigar but not sure how anything about it has to do with Ethiopia or Salassie, and somehow they even gave Nick the knights cross just for using the guys image to sell cigars.
Yea when I see the Ethiopian king that made me want to research this brand definitely look cool as hell on the wrapper still shocked they are allowed to use his face
I need to know a great New Years cigar, that isn't the Perdomo Champagne.
Some other great options for special occasion smokes would be Ashton ESG, Fuente Opus X, Padron 1926 Series #90, Davidoff Aniversario just to name a few. Hopefully something off this list checks all your boxes!
@holtscigars going to the brick and mortar now, to see what they have! Thanks for the response!
Did he Nick Melillo as "Nick Mololo?"
💯💯✊🏽✊🏽💯💯
Most cigars are all hype. This is a desert island stick.
Foundation is a weird cigar brand. I’ve smoked multiple Olmecs in various sizes and they have always been a great smoke. Probably 50% of the charter oaks I’ve had were plugged bad
Bundled cigar videos.....
I taste Dr Pepper when I smoke these
Liga #9 is still a step above this one. I even prefer the Nica Rustica Broadleaf over this. 🤙
Great review!
Glad you enjoyed it!
