Wow I'm really inspired by Degenkolb's interview. Knowing that it means so much to these guys makes the Tour so much more awesome than it already is. Kudos.
Brian Messemer awesome? Whats awesome about this tour? Sky always dominating the tour like the 2 years before and the rest donc care about winning the yellow jersey, the last guy is at 3 hour how can you even do that when you are a profesional😂
John Degenkolb was chasing this victory as he said. After six times as the second at finish now he got it. After it's horror crash in Spain at 2016 I so not begrudge him. Great victory, John!
This proves that if you work hard, you're motivated and dedicated, and you believe in your dreams, then your dreams will come true. Congratulations to Degenkolb for not giving up his dreams. "A man is only as big as his dreams." Exupery
How is it even possible to have so many technical issues as Bardet had this stage. I mean even if the cobbles are hard on the bike, but with such advanced tech, this just should not happen! Bardet may not have lost a lot of seconds, but he had to burn lots of matches today.
Friend Tobias, each team in addition to his shirt, would handle a scale of up to 8 colors for each, for example, yellow stripe on the helmet for the number 1 or captain of the team, green for the runner 2, and so the 3 on blue, 4 violet, 5 red, 6 black, 7 orange and 8 white (that is, without color). Each team would use these or if you want others like pink, brown.
Friends of the Tour de France, from Medellin, Colombia, Greetings, I want to leave a suggestion to see how far it could be taken into account by the UCI, by the organization of a test, or the direction of a team; it's about including on the top of the helmets or in the dorsal number of the cyclists, a colored stripe a bright one for each one of the corridors of the squadron, in such a way that from above, both you and the viewers can distinguish them inside of the squad and know who it is. Thank you
That stage was a meat grinder. Couldn't believe the number of crashes. Every turn was like they were on ice. Really feel bad for Richie Porte- two years straight crashing out. Now the race really starts as they hit the mountains. Maybe Quintano makes a move tomorrow...
CasualBro If the riders don't feel safe, they should ride slower. The same goes for descending a mountain. The GC is about being an overall rider. They also go easy on them with the short TTs. 60km TTs used to be commonplace.
In that case, why not take out the mountain stages...those descents are fast and hazardous, or why not take out sprinters stages...those sprints are scary, or why not take out the rainy stages...those wet roads are slippery, why not?...because this is the Tour and all types of riders should get a chance to showcase their varied talents!
Its unfortunate so many suffer punctures and injuries, just to include 21.7km of cobbles in a 3351km race (0.6%). Perhaps the tour organisers need to rethink this, even though its a spectacle for the spectators and tv broadcasters. I can understand a Paris-roubaix race with cobbles, its always been like that (a hellish ride) and the riders enter it willingly, but for the safety and fair play aspects of a GC, I think its better without. It could be a career ending stage one day for someone. Its different for mountain stage descents: its up to you if you take risks. With cobbles, its out of the riders' hands. Froome up to 8th, but losing time. Mountains next though. He's playing a patient race.
i mean he should have went with group of GVA, he went last time on a 50 km breakup, so he could have also manged this 15 km breakup, and won the sprint
3: 42 "Pure happiness, I was chasing this victory so long. It's really hard to describe."
It is such a emotional clip of this sport.

Brian Messemer He's such a sweetheart! Good for him! He got it!! ❤️❤️🍀🍀🏆🏆🏆🏆Champ!!!

Le Tour's UA-cam video is better than NBC's coverage.

Wau, for a Video only 5.08 Min in length, great stuff and nice cutting...
This proves that if you work hard, you're motivated and dedicated, and you believe in your dreams, then your dreams will come true. Congratulations to Degenkolb for not giving up his dreams. "A man is only as big as his dreams." Exupery
Spectacular win for Degenkolb, happy to see such a strong performance!
I wish things went better for Bardet, Nibali, and Porte.
İ loved the sound design and music curation on this video, congrats to your sound designer

@seppe booooooooring
Such an epic stage! Really spread the peloton out . Entertaining from start to finish 😮
great stage...
Degenkolb hats off man!!!! amazing ride!!! Congrats!!!!!

Very good day for Bora - Sagan in the 5 place with a green jersey.
Majka in 6 in overall. This a good opountinity before the Alps.
Wow! Congratulations, Warriors!💪
Bravo Degenkolb FELICITACIONES!!!!!
just so great and deserved for #Dege
Definitely Hellish
Wow looked like a brutal stage.
Sad for ritchie.. nice one for john, finally a long deserving win for trek segafredo
Happy for John!
With the amount of multiple punctures on this hell stage, tubeless is the only way forward for the pros in 2019
Rusevelt Roberts tube tyres are lighter. Thats why they dont go tubeless
What happened with Julian Alaphillipe?
Yeah i don’t know about these cobbles, man...
Friends of the Tour de France, from Medellin, Colombia,

Filipo Villanueva how would that work with 170 riders in course
truly a hell.
That stage was a meat grinder. Couldn't believe the number of crashes. Every turn was like they were on ice. Really feel bad for Richie Porte- two years straight crashing out. Now the race really starts as they hit the mountains. Maybe Quintano makes a move tomorrow...
Go Escarabajos!!
what do the stars on the map at 0:55 and 0:58 mean?
difficulty rating of the each cobbled section
Good day for moviestar, with all three gc contenders still in it. Too bad they lost a teammate.
This year was fucking brutal how many people crashed this stage
The winner was going into the realschule weißenburger school
And i AM in the realschule weißenburg😂❤😍🙌
Why'd they do richie like that
so many crashes ... sure that much cobble is spectacular . but imo they should value the riders safety higher .
CasualBro If the riders don't feel safe, they should ride slower. The same goes for descending a mountain. The GC is about being an overall rider. They also go easy on them with the short TTs. 60km TTs used to be commonplace.
i really liked the action this stage . but it shouldnt come at the price of riders safety.
CasualBro they're pros. They can walk if they don't feel safe. Or they can do a local race instead of a Grand Tour.
No one forces them to ride that fast. They ride however they fast they want
1:20 The guy checking the collarbone has a striking resemblance to the Russian head of doping, Dr. Grigory Rodchenkov.
And yet another puncture for Bardet!
Porte “had” to quit!?
Brian Dalton he broke his collarbone you moron.
i'm sure that if it were you you would've jumped on that bike brian boy
Riding over cobbles with a broken collarbone would have been agonisingly painful though.
Is Richie is to small?. Seems to get knocked over all the time

ferventheat1 glad you dont plan the tdf route.
would be nice to see the damn crash for richie
"and another puncture for Bardet"
Que gonorrea de etapa!! Se ganan la plática los ciclistas de una forma nada fácil.
Porte wanted out of the Tour so that convenient crash with no broken bones gave him his excuse. Armstrong on his podcast said as much.
Cole Thornton you listen to anything armstrong says?
News reports say he has broken his collar bone and will be our for 6 weeks. Why TF would he want out of the race he has planned all year for.
What the fuck stage is not justo para los ciclistas muy dangerous.
really blame sagan not going with the escape group
He's human - so he doesn't win every race.
I dont get this comment. What u mean u blame him?
i mean he should have went with group of GVA, he went last time on a 50 km breakup, so he could have also manged this 15 km breakup, and won the sprint
simpson2221 he had to glue every attack and he was losing a lot of energy..can't even believe he finished 5th, that's something
i guess ur right, his teammates were all busy with majka, and he was left alone
Go Froome
When? Hopefully very soon now that they have entered the mountains. It is high time for Sky to assert themselves as they usually do.
Finally Froome in the top 10
Shanuel Escueta He shouldn't even be in the race.
Veganpotter Thevegan who's your gc contender?
Froome clean, Froome win
Shanuel Escueta I don't really have one but I'd like to see Dumoulin win.
Martin S You're crazy. Most of the guys that never test positive are dirty. The ones that test positive surely are.
ridiculous
