Shout out to Javier. Such an incredible musician that gets overlooked since he shares a stage with two undeniable goats. I love his influence on the band.
@@patrickftw8464 Exactly. I'm 5'10" and pretty decently built and the 7-string Majesty is pretty beefy in my hands. I can only imagine what the Kaizens will feel like.
When I was in a band, we were always told by other bands in our practice space that Canada sucks for bands and to never play there. Aside from the shows, the bands always tend to get stalled by CBSA saying you can’t bring your equipment over the border. It was bad. Mexico was easier to get a show in.

lolwut 🥲 I go to classical concerts sometimes (I can enjoy pretty much every style of music), but the idea of attending something intense like a metal concert that way is just too absurd to me.. being part of the crowd as one organism is part of the experience for me, ever since I went to my first one as a 16 year old little boy with all those hormones raging through my body :D ♥ although AAL is a bit more "virtuoso" of course than your typical hardcore/punk concert..
You should check out the whole first album. Produced by the legendary Misha of Periphery and I'm pretty sure the drums are fake but it's still super super good.
This must be how my dad felt when I played Yngwie Malmsteen for him. I get how technically difficult it is to play, but musically it does absolutely nothing for me.
Quite honestly, the song seems confusing if you've never heard it before and you're now hearing it live or poorly-mixed. I recommend listening to it with proper headphones to get a better idea of what's going on. There are a lot of polyrhythms and time signature changes, but once you find the framework of the song that lies beneath, it's pretty amazing to then hear everything else and how it all complements the underlying framework.
This song instrumentally encapsulates a wide range of emotion in an original way moreso than any instrumental piece I’ve heard. It embodies emotion from anxiety to uplifting feelings to peace etc. It has catchy melodies and song structure just like any other song. If you’re too bricked to hear that, that’s your loss. Not everyone lives a sheltered life and the chaos of this music reflects a lot of the chaos people go through on a daily basis. What is art but the transmutation of emotion through a medium. Whether it’s “technical” or not isn’t the point some people are tired of hearing the same 4/4 groove over the same boring chords to infinity.
There's always that one guy trying to film at the edge of the pit. He sure is persistent. With as many times as he's been bumped, he keeps trying to film. Quality will be absolute ass though. 😂

Everyone knows Javier is a badass and I doubt he gets overlooked.
Oh please, when Tosin was asked who is your biggest inspiration as a guitarist? He answered Javier :P
He taught him a lot.
I listen to Mestis everyday.
@@juancortes841 I listen to Mestis way more than AAL these days
All 3.... geniuses
Matt is an insane drummer. So glad he’s with AAL
That little lick he did before they started playing was ridiculous.
Tosin has already completed guitar. Now he’s gonna master body building.
This just gives me hope for the future. Thanks.
Excellent recording for lovers of cymbals 👍
and snares
Fuckin love it. Whole kit sounds incredible. There’s just something so special about that “live drum” sound. Never gets old.
Came for the music, stayed for the biceps 💪💪
Carrying around those 7 and 8 string guitars must be a hell of a good exercise.
Animals As Lifters - Wheytless
Its a room full of music nerds and i love it! Such a hard hitting track!
Matt is just destroying it. Those rim shots during the breakdown. Man.
Tosin has now reached the John Petrucci stage of virtuoso guitardom, where one’s guitar ends up looking like a toy ukulele in their hands.
he almost looks like he is morfing into Petruccis body hahaha. Amazing artist!
with a big ass guitar too lmao

Goosebumps during the clapping

This is the amount of crowd energy expected at any live show. Americans, take note!
Was Tosin sneaking in pinch harmonics there for a minute? Also Matt is growing out of his kit.
