      I know, right? I do not know why people are hating on surrogates and the procedure. It is one thing that a healthy woman does not carry herself. But for some, it is not an option. And adoption is not always an option. People should stop stigmatizing surrogacy. It is not the issue.

    I'm dying to know where that crazy woman got the idea that you can "buy" a child in America by dropping off a sperm sample at a clinic & coming back later for a baby! Something tells me she's been reading things on the internet & believes everything that pops up.

She's had 12 baby's 4 hers the rest surrogates. If you do ts there's nothing they can do. There's site's on facebook that help you match with people that you don't need to go through cots there books are closed anyway, I'm indi meaning independent so i don't go through an agency . Everyone should stop judging parents who go through IVF and surrogacy saying that they should adopt. It’s a personal choice and they have every right to do whatever they feel is best for them. If everyone here commenting saying they should adopt a baby would adopt one themselves then there would be very few babies left to adopt. It’s not for everyone

One foster son stayed with me the longest and he really is still my son, would have adopted him had he not been sent back to his abusive mother after 2 years. It is possible to love another child as your own. I hope these families consider adoption, it's a beautiful thing.

    • @Adara007
      @Adara007 6 років тому +1

      NoobKiller Roof There are different types of surrogacy: if a woman has had severe endometriosis or other gynaecological problems resulting in a total hysterectomy (removal of the uterus) but still has functioning ovaries, we have what is called "full surrogacy". This is where the "eggs" are taken and injected with her partner's sperm. The resulting embryo(s) are then implanted into the uterus of a surrogate and the embryo(s) and hence any child is the genetic offspring of the couple. In cases where the ovaries aren't working or have been surgically removed, the ovaries of the surrogate may be used with the sperm of the male partner so the resulting embryos are genetically partly that of the surrogate - she's donated her eggs as well as her uterus. "Full surrogacy" is psychologically easier by comparison to the surrogate donating her own eggs, and more widely accepted.

  • @Ava_Orchid
    @Ava_Orchid 7 років тому +7

    I was asked by my adoption lawyer after having a baby who was conceived by a stranger at knife point for surrogacy as his wife could not keep a baby in her womb. Of course I had just delivered and so for maternal and child health you must wait. It never came about but I was considering it as it is not purchasing a child but rather caring for a person to put their life on hold to bear a child with usually your genetics depending on what the difficulties were for the couple who are getting the child. Surrogacy is a beautiful thing so long as everyone keeps to their promises and agrees to everything before hand and no one is taken advantage of.

    WOW THIS ENTIRE SEGMENT WAS SO TOUCHING. WHEN JILL GAVE BIRTH TO ALEXANDRA, THE ONIONS CAME OUT OF NOW WHERE, (CRYING), AND I LOVE HOW JILL DID NOT GRAB THE BABY WHEN THEY LAID ALEXANDRA ON HER. THAT WAS IMPORTANT...NOT ONLY SO SHE WOULD NOT GET ATTACHED TO THE BABY, BUT ALSO SO THE MOM WOULD BE THE FIRST TO HOLD HER. I BET MANY PPL DIDN'T NOTICE THAT. SHE KEPT HER ARMS BY HER SIDE, AND THE NURSES GRABBED THE TOWEL WRAPPED IT AROUND THE BABY, THEN HANDED HER OFF TO HER MOMMY. AND WHEN THE SISTER N LAW SURROGATE GOT THE PHONE CALL 2 HOURS LATE ABOUT THE PREGNANCY TEST, I THOUGHT SHE WAS PRANKING CHRISTIAN AND COLLIN, BY LOOKING LIKE SHE HAD BAD NEWS. I GUESS BECAUSE I WAS HOPING FOR THE BEST, ESPECIALLY SINCE THAT WAS HER LAST EMBRYO. AND THEN WHEN SHE STARTED TURNING RED AND CRYING, I WAS LIKE TELL HER IT'S A PRANK ALREADY AND YOU ARE JUST KIDDING. SADLY SHE WASN'T. THAT BROKE MY HEART. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND, THIS MAY BE A DUMB QUESTION, BUT WHY CAN'T THEY HAVE ANY KIDS AND SHE IS SO YOUNG? DOES SHE NOT HAVE ANYMORE EGGS, DID SOMETHING HAPPEN, DID THEY EXPLAIN WHY AND I MISSED IT? AND I THINK I GET WHY THEY DON'T WANT TO USE THEIR SISTER N LAW'S EGGS AND HIS SPERM, BECAUSE THAT IS HIS SISTER RIGHT, SO THAT WOULD PROBABLY FEEL LIKE INCEST TO THEM. AND I GET IT, SHE WANTS HER OWN ANYWAY. THIS SUCKS, ONLY BECAUSE THERE ARE SOOO MANY PPL IN THIS WORLD WHO HAVE CHILDREN AND DON'T WANT THEM, BUT IT SEEMS AS IF THE ONES WHO SEEMS LIKE THEY WOULD BE GREAT PARENTS SUFFER AND CAN'T CONCEIVE.....UGGHH!!! BLESS ALL OF YOU. CONGRATS TO ALEXANDRA'S PARENTS THO. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE AN UPDATE ON THEM.

My husband also asked me for adoption but i wanted my won biological baby. So we are visiting a clinic in ukraine for our procedure and my hopes are high. It is for sure a very good video out there. I found this video very useful. Infertility is really a bad experience one has to face. But it is all natural and one can do nothing against it. Surrogacy is really a blessing for couples like us who are infertile or can't conceive. Finding a surrogate mother is not an easy task but your video proved very much helpful in this case. Although there are many very well reputed and good clinics which offer surrogacy. But not all can afford them. So they go out finding surrogates on their own. SO this video is very helpful for such couples. Keep posting videos like this. Best of luck!

      kar jam also with adoption you are not paying for the child it self. You are paying for the court stuff the paperwork. The home study’s and much more. No one is making a profit from adoption. If you don’t know that then get educated before comment about adoption. We have adopted. And not a penny goes to buying a child. Supporting that child alone coast more money then you pay for an adoption. The lady in the video made it sound like you order a child and then you go pick it up. If anyone thinks it like that or even close to that easy. They have no respect for the children being adopted and shouldn’t adopt

      Emma Rennie Because for many of us adoption is not an option because of financial or health issues. I have always wanted to adopt but because I am low income and have chronic migraine, and fibromyalgia etc I would never be approved to adopt.
      I went through hormone treatments to get pregnant, failed, then conceived naturally and my son just turned nine. He got an infection at birth which almost killed him and caused brain damage, he is a wonderful child but has autism, adhd and tourettes. I have since miscarried three times and given up all hope of ever having another child.

    Actually I don’t think surrogacy is a bad thing . There are people who dreamt of having children when they were merely children themselves . However , not everyone is able to realize that dream , and they also realize that they just don’t have the capabilities of raising a child . If people like these have the health to carry a baby for someone else and they are willing to do so , they should go for it . I think it would be the upmost privilege to carry a child on the inside. Should my health treat me differently I would have gone for it . However given that I feel some 50 year old people are healthier than me , I unfortunately can’t carry a child to term . So much can go wrong with the baby and myself given my health condition.
    Yes I am aware that these surrogates can die giving birth but ultimately all human beings in this earth will die someday . No one is immortal .

  • @samanthadavid9219

    There is always a debate on surrogacy vs adoption. Everyone has the right to get its own baby. A baby that is biologically related to you. A child would never like to listen that he/she was adopted. Surrogacy has solved this problem. Now the couples get their own child. Europe is the best infertility clinics. They are doing the best jobs.

    This is such an eye opener. There are couples who are going through a lot out there. I am sure this is just a few than what others can do. Many people are looking for ways to become parents. To those who nature blessed with fertility. Should be appreciative and thankful too. This is why it breaks my heart to see abortion cases. When I remember what others can go through to just be pregnant. Yet others are misusing that opportunity. I am glad that this has been highlighted. So others can learn from this. Being pregnant is an opportunity and should not be. It should act as a lesson instead. I am really touched at the extent some parents will go. We have also heard some cases of parents even going to lengths that are not healthy for them. I have been in Bio tex clinic and I have seen similar cases.
