- Those of you who are following us for longer now will already know that we are always up for some smaller props. We always wanted to fly the Britten-Norman Islander one day and COVID and its difficulties to fly abroad gave us the best opportunities this summer! We went for a quick daytrip to the German island of Juist. Come, join us!

For some reason I didn't want to be a pilot because of a messed up video when I was being trained to fly, but this video made me wanna fly again.
So fun! Northern Germany is like one of those cool places that not many people know about. I want to go some day!
Thanks mate! Come over here haha.. IEV-BRE on Wizz Air and from there on 2 hours on the train 😂 that area isn't easy to reach if you don't have a car anyway though... We had to take a train at 4 am to be on time for our 10am flight even though it is only some 150-200km from Hamburg

I used to live on an Island called Wangerooge its also one in germany, everybody who lives there has flown one of these once and its amazing,wouldnt think to go lost on a 10 km flight

That was a fun trip! My first flight was as a 18-year-old sitting next to the pilot in the same type of craft back in 1997. It was exhilarating watching your flight and helped me relive my experience and want to go again. Greetings from Michigan, United Stares and thank you for sharing!

Amazing Video! This really is an interesting flight, not every day you get to fly on such a small aircraft and get a view of the cockpit during takeoff and landing. Also seemed like a rather exciting approach with the sharp turn at the end like Kai Tak in HK.

Nice video! Sometimes even small flying is interesting. Mainly you can try other types of aircrafts than usual and also the experience is more about real flying. :-) Good job!

Nice one. Inspired by your video, I've just done this flight in this place in MSFS. :)
These wonderful Islander planes and their bigger brothers, the three-engined Trislanders, were made on the Isle of Wight, off the South coast of the UK, opposite Portsmouth. They must all be around 40 years old by now and yet still sounding great.
