I don’t think Edwina actually likes Anthony… I think she likes the idea of him. Just like he likes the idea of her… but in reality it doesn’t really work. No sparks, no love..
that is one of the reasons why she annoys me so much in the few last episodes, she’s in love with the idea she created in her mind even AFTER he tells her he cannot give her the love she wants and she still comes at him all mad that he doesn’t love her and only sees duty in their future. it’s understandable that she gets mad about the whole kanthony thing bubbling up while she’s still in the picture, but getting mad at anthony for something he warned her beforehand is not something i can understand
@MafriendInes410 He says he shows himself with actions instead of words. And all his actions lead her to think he loved her. If not, why go out of his way, very out of his way to woo her. He goes against her sister and does so much. So she felt that his actions of going far and beyond to be with her were his way of showing her loved her, without saying them because hes a man of action.
Unfortunately she just dosnt really know him, they don't really know each other.
But it's clear why she thought he did love her, and was blinded to the truth.

@@silverkyre What he demonstrated with his actions was his fervent desire to MARRY her, not that he loved her. She was told point blank MANY times by Kate and Anthony himself on their wedding day that he did not love her. Edwina even queries it herself, 'I wish I could know if he loved me' and words to that effect, right before accepting his proposal.

Well, when there's a lot of siblings some are closer. Like in " Pride and Prejudices " when it's Elizabeth and Jane on one side and Kitty and Lydia on the other side.
If you do like Pen’s character you’d love “Derry Girls.” A show about Irish teens since the actress stars in it as Claire and the show is hilarious!

I understand some of the things she pulls this season. I still love the queen and Lady Danbury, but my faves are easily Eloise and Benedict. They are trying to find their place in this society. I totally agree what you said about Lady Feathrington. I think she's not a bad person like the way she was kinda portrayed in the first season. I couldn't help but understand the decisions she made in this season as a mother and woman, I know I would do the same if I were in her shoes.

I LOVE the talent show! All these women have to play instruments, sew, sing, dance, paint, read, speak multiple languages to be considered passable, but what are the men doing?? This is random, but i am here to answer your question: Yes you can ride zebras but only a few in the world lol. In Germany there is a farm (it’s called „Ponypark Padenstedt“) that rescued a zebra called Paula, when she was just a baby. Her best friend is a very small pony named Golda, so Paula basically grew up thinking she is a horse lol. Only light weighted people, as children or very, very small grown ups, can sit on her back for a short time. It’s pretty cool. But please people never try to touch a zebra if you ever see one because these dudes can literally kill you. Their Jaw is one of the strongest in the world and your bones would be crushed…either because of their bite or their kick, lol.

FYI, in order, the ranks of the British "landed nobility" go: King/Queen, Prince/Princess, Duke/Duchess, Marquess/Marchioness, Earl/Countess, Viscount/Viscountess, and Baron. So, Daphne "married up" in rank when she married the Duke, but could have gone higher, had she married the Prince. In the Bridgerton family, only the mother (Dowager Viscountess) and eldest son Antony (Viscount) have titles. Benedict, Colin, and Gregory are just "Misters", and Eloise and Hyacinth are "Miss" Bridgerton.
The reason Pen panicked in the market when Madame Delacroix saw her is that she was alone, without a chaperone, which could cause a scandal and make her unmarriageable.
[Trying not to spoil here, but, if you haven't figured this out yet, there's one book (and each season is supposed to tell the story of a single book) for each Bridgerton child's coming of age and finding their match. Francesca, btw, isn't around much because (in the books, at least) she's already married to an Earl, and is herself a Countess (she also "married up"). In S1, they said she had gone to Bath, but that didn't happen in the books, so I don't know how they'll explain her absence this season. In the books, Francesca's first marriage was a love match, but we don't see them court; he dies and she becomes a widow, and then gets with someone else, which is the story of her book.]

I think Anthony's words are misinterpreted, he says he can't give the words of affection that she deserves, but that doesn't mean he won't love, simply that he loves by doing things big moves, changes and efforts.

Simon was never supposed to be in this season. His story is over. It’s actually better for him as an actor because it let him off contract to take other jobs. If he’d been contracted he wouldn’t have been free for the dungeons and dragons movie. Hopefully he gets more big parts from here.

Edwina is a sweet girl in Anthony’s eyes but Kate is a beautiful, quick witted woman that challenges Anthony. I love their dynamic, they are literally the male/female version of each other. Edwina is perfect if all Antony wants is a wife but not matter how much he tries to repress it, he wants the love his mother and father had. A relationship and love beyond duty, and Edwina deserves someone that loves her like Kate and Anthony love each other
13:32 zebras could be ridden but not for long. Too temperamental and theyre backs havent been designed by domestication to handle our weight.

I honestly didn’t like Lady Danbury this season. I felt like she was always talking down to Kate. Also in this episode I felt like it was lame of her to say that basically because she’s older she can be widowed and single but Kate can’t want those same things. I understand it’s the time period but even with that, Kate is 26, she would be considered a spinster anyways so let her be single by her own content.
Honestly, I think Lady Danberry was terrible this season. Didn't like her at all 😅
She never tells Kate what she needs to hear. It's like she keeps taking her down with the excuse of being "brutally honest". In the first episode she was pretty gross to her too lol
I just thought that in the first season that shade of her was more complimentary to the story, and in this one they tried to keep it, but she doesn't add to the story she's just there best case.
Kate annoyed the hell out of me. Her stubbornness and pride made it difficult to enjoy the show.
