Wherever I go I always like to see how the locals live. This is a great video to see everyday life in a Jerusalem neighborhood. Thanks for posting. And shoutout from MN!

I love your videos! I visited Jerusalem last August, 2022 with my husband where we stayed in a nice residential neighbourhood much like the one you live in. Your videos bring back fond memories of our stay. Please keep posting them, they make me happy. 😊

We are currently in the states. But I lived in Be'er Sheva, Israel, when I first married my israeli wife back in 2006. I was there for about 3 years before we came back to the states to live. We still love to visit to see family but Israel is very difficult to live when coming from the states. Not only is cost of living much higher, so are the taxes. We may move back again someday, but only if we can have the right arrangement.

Shop in the religious areas where the supers are less expensive.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the prices on things that are sold by weight are by kilo, to get dollars per pound, first you divide by 2 to get (roughly) price in shekels per lb, then divide by 1/3 to get the price in dollars. Example: those nectarines at the beginning work out to about $1.50 a lb which is very very cheap compared to the US.

Yogurt that's not so full of sugar that it's essentially candy is hard to find in the US.

Very nice area it appears to ve very family centric. Noticed that here in Ireland 🇮🇪 we have an electric kettle but seems it's not an item I have ever seen in europe or Middle East in general.

May I suggest u take the stroller so u don’t have to carry heavy groceries. I see IKEA is big in Israel. We lived in Europe for several years and enjoyed the parks and bike trails but not the socialism, which has now invaded the world. Enjoy your adventure.
