I bought a 2006 ST-1300 that had sat, under a cover, outside, for over 4 years. I am in the process of going through it. It's not as rusty as your but savages have been at the fairing fasteners.
@@justanothermotorcyclist It's like the previous owner pulled the fairings off and then lost all the OEM fasteners. What kind of animal does this?? You have the added disadvantage of being somewhere in the UK where steel rusts and alloy corrodes like crazy. I was thinking of making a diagram showing fastener placement.

How is the swingarm? Got to admit if I was going to fix a bike up, one of these would be close to top of the list.
A brief look suggests its solid - but I will take it off to make sure at some point. They are getting harder and harder to find in good condition.
