Can you fill the drive with gear lube like on the native pedal drives? I had a native clone pedal drive and filled it with 75w-90 and it made it so smooth and quiet.
You will regret it if you don't. The lower drive has 3 bearings, 2 on the propeller shaft and 1 on the drive shaft. These are the most susceptible to moisture since the lower unit is under water. All 3 of my lower bearings were slightly rusted even though it was well grease and showed very little moisture inside.
Thanks a lot buddy
Tks, how about the lower unit?
Thank you for showing this
Excellent video sir!

I used the 4 screws on both top and bottom. And I packed in the marine grease.
why? That was a lot of extra work and mess for no reason.
Hey man my pedals are spinning still but the prop won't Spin? Just stopped when heading to a spot, do you know anything about how to fix this, thanks
What about the propeller pinions
Where did you buy the grease and the gun
Thank you soo much
Have you ever lubricated the lower end? I was wondering if that would be necessary.

You didn't service the lower end. There's ball bearings and grease down there as well
