he wasn't in rodman's head, the refs were, first tech on rodman was total bullshit, i could get inside someone's head too if i could stick my giant elbow in their neck for 5 steps.
He was good at other things of the game too
@@Realdealrob True. He lead the league one year in rebounding and was an excellent 3 point shooter for a big man when that was not common.
You right there. He always was trying to hurt players intentionally. That's why he isn't a hof player.
Laimbeer was a complete tool but yeah, definitely was a valuable asset on the court.
2:20 Just a momentary peak of Lloyd Daniels, the guy who was supposed to be Magic Johnson with a real jumpshot, but who never quite worked out.
Daniels was a drunk. That ruined his career.
Thought that was Antonio Daniels
@@kylein9869 I may be wrong, but Lloyd Daniels was with the Spurs from 92-94, and he wore #24 with them, so I think it's him. Antonio was with the Spurs from 98-02 and he work #46. I think it is Lloyd Daniels. He's one of the great tragedies of basketball, an immense talent who had a horrible upbringing and who could never get off drugs. Had he had some kind of a normal upbringing and been sober, he could have been mentioned in the conversations about the greats.
@@unclematt3 I never heard of Lloyd Daniels until I seen your comment. I looked him up and yeah what a shame how his career turned out. He seemed like he had major potential and had no problem putting up over 20ppg while he was healthy, but drugs and alcohol took over.
Lol laimbeer kind of trolled Rodman in this game
Kind of felt like the other way around especially when Rodman threw the ball off of him. Though Laimbeer definitely trolled with the clapping when Rodman got a sec tech. I think Rodman was extra emotional because of his first game back in Detroit.
This is right up Laimbeer's alley 😂 because he helped raise Rodman
Trolled by the refs
Bill was an overrated 🥒
Nag, absolutely, and the ref's ignored Lame beer elbows& forearms to Rodmans face.
dennis was still trying to find his groove here w/ the spurs after being in a structured family atmosphere in detroit. sadly, he never did get to bond solidly w/ his mates at san antonio. more than anything else, he was considered a distraction in texas.
That's why we welcome him in the Chi. Three more rings.
@Mark Grace The admiral was not a leader. Robinson only cared about stats. Jordan and Phil gave Dennis Room. When he f up Mike would let him know. Detroit same way. Robinson could careless. Big difference my friend and Three Three Championships in a row. Tells you the system wasn't working in San Antonio. No matter how you try to explain it. Dennis will you his all when you show that you want him and back him. Leadership comes in all different types of ways. I'm from the chi and I seen this dude bust his ass, why because he had the support and the fans. So again three championships from this dude giving his all. I was pissed when he got suspended for kicking a photographer for many games or getting toss. But when he plays he flat hustle and play. Tim Duncan gets so much love because he is a team player, Robinson was all about himself. Pistons won championships with Rodman. Regardless all the talk, Jordan love this dude, Pip got over the hate for Rodman and trust him. Numbers don't lie and when teams are in sync it's no stopping them.
That was solely due to john stockton and karl malone beating them EVERY year in the playoffs during the spurs/rodman years...some of the most intense playoff basketball ive ever seen!

I didn’t know Sean Elliott ever played for Detroit. Always knew him as a Spur.
@R G He had a poor year for Detroit, but the Pistons gave up on him way to early, so they traded him back to San Antonio for freaking Bill Curley and Elliot went on to get another all-star nod for the Spurs a year later. Pistons management was terrible during this era.
@R G He avg. only 12 ppg that year, way below his normal production. Maybe he was a bad fit, but I still think they gave up on him too early, esp. considering he had already been an all-star once for the Spurs and was only 26 years old that season.

Rodman was the most freakishly strong basketball player ever... he was a force.
Strength wasn't his main tool though, it was those extremely quick and high springs that allowed him to be the rebounding machine he was, along with his tenacity. But also he had a very quick first step, which served him well on defense.

This thing reminds me of how much cooler Rodman was before he over-accessorized. When he was a young underdog he was even better. He slowly become a gigantic egotistical boy man.
