Jinger,....the interview and chat you did on youtube with Dr. Bialik...(Mayim Bialik, the actress & doctor) was so good. I really enjoyed the conversation between the two of you. She is so smart having a phD in neuroscience. The conversation gave us the viewer the chance to see you, Jinger as a very intelligent person.
I watched “19 Kids…” and “Counting On”. I am so thankful that you, Jinger, found a way to be free indeed, and I pray that your younger sisters can look at your life and see that you love Jesus, honor God, and have eternity in your heart. God brought Jeremy to you, which made your freedom possible.
I loved this. Jinger speaks flawlessly, and the way Jer listens so intently. They allow each other to speak while the other patiently listens. This was podcast vibes with the utmost of calmness ❤ it just felt so peaceful with them ❤
Love how Jer is so engaged and connected when Jinger answers questions. Such a great interviewer keeping eye contact and listening to her answers. Sounds like a professional podcast and very interesting!! Love these vids!!
What's wonderful about Jeremy is that he doesn't have the "allow" mentality. It's because of him that Jinger became who she is today. She wasn't "allowed" to have a voice at home, she has said it herself, and could have married into the same kind of controlling situation, but thank God she didn't. I couldn't be happier for her. 😊
@@rosebayer114 I agree Rose. I'm so happy for Jinger too. She has a husband that is so good to her and their beautiful daughters. He saved her from that horrible life all those kids had to endure. Jim Bob is a nut case!
Love Shepherd on a search! Just don’t hide him in the oven, forget and preheat the oven realizing his eye has melted because kiddos didn’t find him that morning. Luckily they forgot the next year that he was supposed to have a bandaid on his eye and I was able to switch him out with a new one.
Jinger, I just have to tell you how much I am LOVING this devotional, New Morning Mercies, by Paul Tripp! I was at my Christian bookstore and saw it after you posted this video and started using it. It really has become one of my fav’s. So glad you recommended it!!
Jer did such an amazing job guiding this discussion. Totally Podcast vibes and I’m here for it!!! Jinger was always one of my faves among Jessa, Jill and Jana! Love that we get to see Jing in this season of life! Happy and glowing!

I really enjoyed this chat. Jeremy looks at Jinger with such love. Jinger, how is it being in the big house after your book release? Merry Christmas, Volou Family!

I think it seems overwhelming at this stage...a 3 and 5 year old. Our boys are 41, 41 and 39..husband was a soldier...Operation Desert storm...was alone with 3 boys under 4. People would ask how...you just do. You just have a routine, you just keep on keeping on. Our oldest granddaughter is now 16...We got so bored, we got into chickens and ducks....the grands are all in school...we were bored ...You will wake up one morning and wonder where these years went...they go so fast
Have some grace toward your parents though.. maybe you already do.. that being said I grew up in a cult and choosing to blame my parents gets me know where. though have a still am tempted to at times.. that being said Jinger.. youll have your journey well under way by the time the rest are grown and you will be such a help when they are willing I'm sure.. your parents still believe in Jesus and that being said is amazing.. with healing and time may God bring clarity and freedom for all..

Was happy to see you are reading Paul David Tripp. New Morning Mercies is awesome. Let me put in a plug for two other books by him that I have read/currently reading: Come Let Us Adore Him - reading during Advent; and Do You Believe - excellent book on doctrine. So rich and very readable. My Book Study group just finished it and everyone loved it.
You both are wise parents and spouses. I would hope many young parents would listen to your suggestions about life and relationships. You both are a blessing as well as your podcast being an encouragement. I didn’t have the opportunity to gain wisdom from other Christian young parents.
How do you think your mother handled so many babies at once? Watching the Duggers from day one, I never saw your mother get impatient or complain. Was that all just for tv or was it real? BTW, I think you are remarkable! Can't wait to read your book!
Yes, time for Jeremy to finish his doctorate and get a job ( a real job) which brings in an income other than depending on you using your Duggar name alone.
I look at the seasoned pastors like Charles Stanley who became much better pastors later than when they were younger starting out. He just needs more time ….we need better pastors so let’s keep him in prayer
Jinger……you say “season of life” and “season” repeatedly and it is an IBLP phrase. I hear all the Duggars and Bates use that same phrase over and over. You might try using a different phrase especially if you want to distance yourself from that cult.
Using the phrase “season of life” or the term “season” are not just IBLP phrases. As a nondenominational Christian who leans reformed now vs. evangelical, I’ve used those phrases for the almost 20 years since I became born again. I’ve never been affiliated with an IBLP church.
Stay out of their marriage, Karen. If she has a problem with something HER husband does, she’ll take it up with him. It has nothing to do with you, so mind your business.

Her parents were sucked into that cult also, but they don’t catch a break. Those kids turned out so well except the one. They had a pretty good life and a lot to be grateful for.
They don’t catch a break because they are still a part of those harmful religious teachings and raising children in it to this day. They don’t deserve a break while causing harm.
Jinger I don't like, how you and Jill discriminated against your parents They did a good job of raising you and your siblings? As I can remember Jessa wrote a few pages of letters to talk and thank them. I like how they raise y'all to respect God and keep y'all selves for marriage.
Ginger handled her story gracefully. Jill really exposed her family, and that was so unfair to the other children. I’m sure money was a motive for writing the book.
