    Can we please end the conversations about the coyote being the "best V8 ever" . If this cleveland was put in the s550 mustang chassis with the carbon fiber mustang that set the coyote record that 2020 mustang would be in the 8s with 351 clevo power

      Yep, I think they heard you. I think the Cleveland can make more HP, per ci, than the majority of engines, with similar specs.

    Great. But you cut the video off too quickly. Please, repost it with at least 5 or even 10 more seconds more feed of the end. I had to replay it to see the time, 9.3 to 10.3. Yes, your dad and his '69 Cougar ate the Camaro. Nice!

    There are other good oxy fuels like vp c-113 that might get close enough. Not sure of your cr ratio if something like that is high enough octane. But worth a look.

      When talking 500+hp V8's, each point increase in compression is worth about 4% increase in power across the curve.
      Compression absolutely rules!
      The sweet smell of good fuel and that PoP from 13:1 + comp just brings smiles to my face!

    No wheelspin, almost, or possibly lifted the tire, certainly unloaded all the weight off it, all power used on forward motion. lol...1st pass in 5 years is flawless.....what do you do after that? 😆

      Watch again and again up loud. Just drained the Q16 and put in C12 warmed up. See if I can the difference between them.

      Nothing personal against 1/8 mile venues or the racers that prefer to run at them, but 1/4 mile performance has always been the traditional measure of a vehicle’s overall acceleration potential.
      Ever notice when people talk about a good eighth mile ET they always estimate what the quarter mile time would be ? That should clarify the necessity of 1/4 mile Drag Racing 🏁

    Grew up in Camaros (The old man drove almost nothing else) but man oh MAN is that generation of Cougar the sexiest beast in my eyes... Second only to a Cuda.

      @@DragBoss351Cleveland Holy canoli... Color me jealous! Hehe. I'm just trying to slowly get my 2002 Xtreme single cab step-side 4.3L into better shape. Bought it as a stop gap vehicle when I was between cars knowing it needed TLC on all things rubber and plastic. Still runs nicely, so no complaints overall. Uncle Sam doesn't pay us people he disables much, so going all out isn't an option!
