This what a REAL entertainer gives. His funk, his love, his dances. Is not one artist today that can perform like him. Not one that gives 2 hour shows, so close to his audience. Sorely missed he is. Loved forever he will be.

In almost 67 years of life, through possibly the greatest period for entertainment and music - one of the things i need a kick in the ass for is never having seen Prince Rodgers Nelson, possibly the greatest natural musician/entertainer of our time.
I feel the same about having never attended a Micheal Jackson Concert. But I did make an attempt to get tickets to the Victory tour at MSG in NY. The lines were around the arena for tickets, Pre -tickemaster days. No luck. But I did see Mr. PUrple Greatness on 3 tours in NYC. RIP to the Baddest Little Purple Guy, God ever made!

Every time I see a video or hear his songs, tears come to my eyes. From the moment Prince started recording and performing , his music It's always been at the forefront of entertainment and I knew from that moment he was going to be a star. I think I looked at the movie Purple Rain 300 times. And his unique style of vocals and guitar playing and song writing, is Amazing. They will always live in my heart , rest in peace love you brother

I was at this concert (10th time I had seen him) At the 45:59 mark where he says "Sherry? are you hot? (singing cool) he was talking to Sherry Shepard who was front and center on the floor below me. It was a great night, and I went to to more shows after this one. I miss this wonderful, artistic, musician. He was everything and I'm so glad that I had the chance to have him in the world during my formative years. He is so LOVED AND MISSED.🌹💜

The “Jam of The Year” series of “pop up” shows (before pop up shows were even a thing) He was The Artist at this time and that Thursday nite concert was announced the previous Saturday! Less than 8000 ppl in an 23000 seat arena would be disappointing to most…. But when the intention is to throw a “club show” inside a massive arena, it was a massive success. All of us on the floor……as The Artist covered the songs of Prince (😂). At one point, he asked the crowd “WHO’S THE KING OF LEXINGTON? IS HE IN THE ROOM?” After a comical moment, pacing upstage as if scanning for the king, he said, “I’m just playin’. Everybody knows there are no kings. Only princes.” It was a phenomenal night…. 2 hrs late, 3 hrs onstage and Purple Rain was the 2nd song in the set. And years later, I’ll still slap the mf‘er who would dare complain about any of it.

It was packed to the rafters and not as intimate but to me to see such a diverse crowd..although all dressed in their Princish finest all together in the middle of KY just blew my mind and felt we had some hope as a human race after all! I must say he set the bar high for concerts of which I saw hundreds but never him again. I dont think it could ever be beat just transformative. I would have loved to have to have seen him in a more intimate crowd though!! I saw lots of great bands and blues in the 80s at the small clubs in Lexington..just amazing.But Prince in a small crowd? The King of Lexington indeed! I was not there in 98 dang it. It just wouldnt line up for any shows elsewhere as I traveled for work alot. But dang I sure do love these UA-cam shows. They lift my spirits every time! God bless Prince. He gave us all such a gift!!

Just came back a week ago. Disappointed that I was not able to get a ticket for the ultimate tour ( 3 hrs long ) but I got to go to the vip one. Before that, I went to Chicago to visit the Immersive Experience. I’ve only been an addict fan two and half years ago and will remain till I end.

This is a STELLAR concert, though what happened at 56:16 with Shelby J singing with Prince?!?!!? I wish I could've heard her sing with Prince's "Nothing Compares 2 U"!!!! @@julienceaser The prices for premium seats for ANY event in NYC regularly go for that amount. I grew up trading in transit card wrappers to get a 2-for to purchase Knicks and Yankee games. Not the best seats , but for $25 i could get myself and a date into the Arena. Now the worst seats start at $100. I reviewed all my old ticket stubs. In 2007 I paid the "premium" amount for floor seats to see Beyonce was $125. Thats the most I ever payed for ANY concert. Days long gone.

I never had the chance to check the Purple RAIN TOUR LIVE back in 1985 even if it was playing right around the corner from me at the time on Long Island back in March of 1985. I was pissed. But the following summer of 1986 in MADISON SQARE GARDEN. I saw THE PARADE TOUR LIVE. I saw the film UNDER THE CHERRY MOON a month prior. The following year 1987 I saw him LIVE in Europe on his SIGN O THE TIMES TOUR. INCREDIBLE! Then I saw him once again in Europe on THE NUDE TOUR that was 1990. 2years later in Europe I caught the DIAMONDS AND PEARLS TOUR 1992. My final time seeing him Live. So I made up for what happen in 1985. since I went on to have my own career in the music business or let’s say in entertainment. Music isn’t all it’s supposed to be . Although fun. Prince discovered that out to late in his career. Rest in LOVE PRINCE.

This is a STELLAR concert, though what happened at 56:16 with Shelby J singing with Prince?!?!!? I wish I could've heard her sing with Prince's "Nothing Compares 2 U"!!!! BUT I'm loving every single minute of this....a perfect Video for ANYONE who's not been fortunate enough to see Prince LIVE!!!!! 🤩 🤩 🤩

So cool to see so many get up at the end.. and to see Questlove and Sheila get behind the kit! ..but the highlight for me was his solo in PR.. damn that was one of the best I heard him play it live. If I had known he sometimes handed his guitar to random fans... I would've paid the extra to get close to the stage when he came to my town.. lol
The seats in the pit were going for 2K. I had to gracefully bow out.

@@julienceaser The prices for premium seats for ANY event in NYC regularly go for that amount. I grew up trading in transit card wrappers to get a 2-for to purchase Knicks and Yankee games. Not the best seats , but for $25 i could get myself and a date into the Arena. Now the worst seats start at $100. I reviewed all my old ticket stubs. In 2007 I paid the "premium" amount for floor seats to see Beyonce was $125. Thats the most I ever payed for ANY concert. Days long gone.

I wish I was there too. I didn't get to see him in concert, but I did get a few chances to meet him while walking up the hill from my home to my favorite bath and body shops to get my favorite Lavender lotion.

I never had the chance to check the Purple RAIN TOUR LIVE back in 1985 even if it was playing right around the corner from me at the time on Long Island back in March of 1985. I was pissed. But the following summer of 1986 in MADISON SQARE GARDEN. I saw THE PARADE TOUR LIVE. I saw the film UNDER THE CHERRY MOON a month prior. The following year 1987 I saw him LIVE in Europe on his SIGN O THE TIMES TOUR. INCREDIBLE! Then I saw him once again in Europe on THE NUDE TOUR that was 1990. 2years later in Europe I caught the DIAMONDS AND PEARLS TOUR 1992. My final time seeing him Live. So I made up for what happen in 1985. since I went on to have my own career in the music business or let’s say in entertainment. Music isn’t all it’s supposed to be . Although fun. Prince discovered that out to late in his career. Rest in LOVE PRINCE.
