Signs once again that Peggy Carter has a type.
1. Guys that have a good heart &brain no matter what their physical issues(Steve pre-serum/Daniel post-war)
2. Guys willing to give their lives to defeat HYDRA even if it means fighting alone.
"The price of freedom is high, and it's one I'm willing to pay. If I'm the only one, so be it." -Steve Rogers
"This is a fight I'll wage alone if I have to. I'd give my life for it." -Daniel Sousa
3. Guys that get on a plane, are presumed dead& end up in the future.
Also guys who are a real problem for Hydra and are smarter than other people assume.
Pretty good analysis
She is a woman of high standards.
@@ScottRutter
Well, she's Peggy fucking Carter.
So...
Fun parallel
Eric literally guessed everything right 😂
Eric is the god of Simi Simi correct prediction
I’d say he should be a writer, but he can’t be now 😭😭😭
More like he Reddits lol
@@ShieldVids Is that your excuse, Aaron?
Can we just appreciate the fact that Aos has been giving us unique and amazing storytelling/acting for 7 years. Love. This. Show.
I really like the actor who plays the evil chronocon. I feel like he is the only actor (other than Enoch) that nails the whole lifeless robot thing without just looking really stiff.
Yeah I also really liked the Hydra guy with the skinny face that shot Sousa
I agree the actor is doing an amazing job! For as little success he has against the agents both on missions and in fights, I still find him terrifyingly imposing in every scene he's in.
Mallory Jansen as Aida also did an amazing job at that
also he has a perfect villian face it feels like hes the terminator somtimes
@@misterthedarkknight too accurate
May being an empath means she can find out if anyone in a room is a Chronicom just by touching them.
genius.
Imagine if she touches some random person and suddenly gets horny ^^
Saw it somewhere reminding us that the girl May killed in Bahrain had the powers to leech off emotions via touch. And May herself now has the ability to feel emotions of others via touch. AoS writers are just amazing omfg
Oooh yes! That will save some time!
@@mazterincognita997 Gosh, they really are!
Poor Enoch, Deke was actually happy to hear him and wanted to talk.
Wait, what did I miss? Where is Aaron’s arm hair?
Holy shit you’re right. It’s gone. What the fuck happened.
Lost in the snap
@@Teddy-rh8vl hahaha
Spoiler alert!
I think may is definitely the shrike queen from last season. Isele.
Elle Kay Gee we have our answer
SuperNerd Gavin yes we do.
In other words, May has become Mantis from the comics, because MCU’s Mantis doesn’t know how to fight.
or the girl in Bahrain
@@AlessaParker That is what I thought aswell
Agent Daniel Sousa the Agent Phil Coulson of the 1950s
SOUSA traveling through time with the agents, YES!!!!!
"Sousa?"
"Peggy."
"Cap!?!"
"Coulson!!!!!!!"
Donkey!!!
@@Phanthief95 I understood that reference 😂
And his name is JOHN CENA!
PhanThief95 oh good I’m not the only one who thought of that
Myu-Myu
Can't wait to see Sousa's reaction when he learns about the return of Capt America, the Avengers etc...
Plus Black Widow. Remember they faced off against a Black Widow in Agent Carter.
OMG THE POTENTIAL THE SHOW HAS BY SHOWING HIM THE FUTURE!!!
Love how you guys figured it out the May situation before it was even revealed
I know! I didn't even notice she'd touched Jemma when I first watched that scene, and Eric picked up on it immediately 😂
I only figured it out when Yo Yo told me 😀
7:18 this is why you're the absolute best when it comes to AoS reactions. You guys pick up things I don't see 90% of other reaction channels notice until it's spelled out for them.
I really hope they tie in with the very beginning of the show, that would be so cool! Conspiracy Skye, Hydra Ward, Tahiti Coulson, May with her ptsd from Bahrain, Fitz-Simmons being quirky and innocent and just all of that stuff. Also seing Ward, Lincoln and Ghost Rider would be awesome or maybe Daisy's parents or Hunter and Bobbi. Plenty of great choices out there.
ohhh yes that would be amazing too!
Every season, they break through each ceiling they established the previous season for writing standards. Literally one of the best shows ever. So good.
I love how when the music started playing everyone besides for deke and susa all new exactly where they are
Adam Nelson do u think the show is gonna make something like the chronocoms going fret their younger selves
@@Starsaber222 true. Exciting!
I kinda want more of coulson‘s narration though, or any of the characters, that was great ^^ I loved how the voice effect changed when his inner monologues got turned off
Solid episode imo ..my favorite of the season so far.
As someone who is a fan of the Noir genre , I enjoyed the trappings of it such as the narration , the jazz music aswell as the black & white ( I also like that there was a in universe explanation for that aswell with Coulson’s systems needing to be reset after the EMP last episode).
It was cool to see an older version of Wilfred Malick aswell though I necessarily didn’t entirely buy that he wouldn’t remember Deke but that was resolved quickly so it wasn’t a big issue for me.
I have been intrigued as to May’s situation thus far but I certainly wasn’t expecting her to now be an empath who can feel other people’s emotions but none of her own..it’s a nice twist for a character who’s normally rather stoic.
I’m glad Sousa is still alive though I certainly wasn’t expecting him to stick around for atleast a bit more after this episode.
Anyway ....Give me Fitz!!
He knew Deke for one day 20 years ago and he looks exactly the same. I wouldn't remember him 😂
I think it would be way more unrealistic for him to immediately recognize someone he met for about a day 20 years ago. In time travel stories that always pulls me out of the story. Who recalls the face of every person they’ve ever met decades later?
ScarlettMi I would agree but that was a rather peculiar moment for him in his life so I feel he would have remembered him
@@taimurmuggo1634 Well, was it a peculiar moment in his life? He's effectively the head of Hydra, I'm sure he's had plenty of similar, or more impressive, events occur in his last two decades.
I'm memory of Daniel, the.first wearable Shield communications unit was named the Sousaphone!
@@stephen-macdonald pls can u explain it for me, I dont understand it
"Dumbledore was 120 years old!"
😂 Wrong franchise
Agents of SHIELD is the best-written comic book tv series.
This and _Gotham_ have the best writing of the live-action shows.
I'd also add
Flash season 1 and 2.
Arrow season 1 and 2.
Daredevil Netflix
HBO's Watchmen
& a few others which I don't recall at this exact very moment.
Legion is quite underrated and is a work of art
I think Ward is a given, but I'm really hoping we get to see Talbot, maybe in the 90's
Yes would love to see Talbot say in the next jump in the late 80s. Seems like they are doing 15 years ish per jump and 2 episodes per jump. This season has been so fantastic and so much fun!!
i'm pretty sure that the council of nine were HYDRA because i think that when they were showing all the logos that HYDRA has used (like the one simmon's astronaut wore) the council of nine's logo was one of them.
Didn't we confirm it already when the symbol first appeared that it's Hydra?
Yeah. I think that happened. Been a while since I watched it.
Yeah they definitely seem liked the types involved in the sending people to maveth thing
The showrunners of Agent Carter confirmed that the council wasn't connected to Hydra. Remember they were responsible for the stock market crash that caused the Malick family to lose their wealth.
Peggy Carter was on SHIELD ***TWICE***---both times in Season 2. The first--- when she, Dum Dum Dugan and Morita took over the last HYDRA WWII base. The second--- when she interrogated Whitehall.
Special shout-out to Billy the Kid. He edits and uploads these videos damn quick!
Billy is the best
Prediction: Coulson will somehow become 'a real boy' and it'll be May's new found empathic powers that will confirm it as she feels his 'love' for her.
I so hope you're right. All I want are good things for my favorite characters lol.
I just love Clark's voice. I was super pleased to have his voice over this episode. He is one of those people who could read anything and it would be interesting, or at least soothing and comforting.
1:30 Ouch. That was a sick burn.
So here’s my theory: they seem to be jumping 20 years at a time. First they were in the 30s, then the 50s, now the 70s. Keep up that pattern and they should jump into the 90s next and then the 2010s. More specifically, 2012 during the Battle of New York.
If that happens, the possibilities are endless. They could explain Sousa being a cop in that movie, they could reference the events in Endgame, and they could even have Coulson (kind of) finally reunite with the Avengers!
Also 90's means the possibility of a reference to events like
1. Deaths of Howard& Maria Stark
2. Captain Marvel, Young Coulson& Young Fury
3. SHIELD begins to study& train Ava Star(Ghost from AM&TW)
4. John Garret recruits Ward
I want Coulson to meet the older Howard Stark and 3 year old Tony!
ERIC! LITERALLY, HOW DID YOU GET IT ALL RIGHT SO FAST?!
So 2 in the '30's. 2 in the '50's, so...2 in the '70', 2 in the '90's and final episodes in the '00's to current.
Imagine we end up seeing Fury eventually like if they go to the 90s?
Was thinking the same
That would be an amazing way to end the show
I cannot wait to see Sousa’s reaction to the 70’s, seeing men with long hair, bell bottoms and metal music lol
With the fact the Powers Boothe is sadly gone, they could change the timeline. Instead of his brother Nathaniel being sacrificed to Hive via the monolith, it could now be Gideon who was sacrificed. That way we get a new head of Hydra and still keep the memory of Powers Boothe in tact.
I was wondering if that swimming spool is the same swimming pool that was shown back in season 1
Me too!!!
It has too
46:56 eric doing english/scottish fitz accent: “WOT?!!” 😂
I wonder if this is how they’ll work in the fact that the guy who plays Sousa was a cop in the Avengers
Dana says- Talk about a great twist in May's character development. She was the most emotionally walled-off character in the beginning of the show and now she's feeling and expressing the emotions of those she touches. She has the same powers as the little girl who she had to kill, who caused her to be emotionally shut down in the first place. Jeesh, these writers!
That Normies reference tho
Wait was it, I missed it!
It was funny cause it's true
We need nick fury to turn up and fold shield into sword to set up a sequel series with some of the characters, at some point
It’s been announced
If I had to guess I would say the metal rod was related to arc reactor technology given that Simmons mentions the Zephyr being related to it. I don't think they ever mentioned how exactly it performs the vertical take offs but repulser tech may be involved. It also lines up with Obidah Stane's line in the first iron man. "We built that to shut the hippies up" refering to the Arc reactor.
THIS is the quality I’ve been waiting for since mid season 5 honestly, favorite episode of the season so far and imo one of the best of the whole show, f‘ing amazing I hope they keep this up and end the show with style or with a bang; I‘m really digging Deke‘s character arc again which is what I’ve missed for the most of season 6 too ^^
Having said that: where the F is Fitz
Read a couple of comments saying that Fitz comes back in ep 6. Pumped up if that's true!
The actor had a few other acting commitments which is why they wrote him out.
one of the best episodes of SHIELD. even with all the sci-fi craziness and time travel, the show still manages to do what it does best: be an awesome spy show with great characterization. and I am so happy they got Sousa on the team now.
I have been waiting for this video😁
Amazing episode, great reaction! I'm amazed at how accurate Eric's predictions are, it happened exactly as he said!
Recommendation and Random Trivia!
1. Please watch Dollhouse, I feel like you both would love it and maybe some of the other BW crew too. Other than Sousa, the actress that played Jiaying is also a lead and the actor who played Whitehall is a recurring character. You’ll go nuts over plot twists aplenty, only 26 eps, just a slow start and not unlike AOS. Visually stunning sci-fi, but heads up: the series’ tone shifts genres depending on the current conflict.
2. Power couple Jed and Maurissa are the brother and sister-in-law of Joss and co-created AOS with him, also co-exec producers/screenwriters. They also co-wrote some high-concept Dollhouse eps and co-wrote/exec produced for Spartacus, I think.
They’ve said Fitz-Simmons are inspired by their dynamic. Super interesting considering Jed wrote and directed 4x15 - Self Control with the Fitz LMD O.o
Maurissa cameoed as Deke’s social influencer girlfriend Sequoia in 6x04.
3. You guys are great, I’ve loved your reactions through the seasons and it’s so awesome to know you appreciate all of the strengths of AOS - and it’s so good you finished Agent Carter before this season. Also, yes! SHIELD Season Four was perfect.
Talking about May - I cannot believe you guys didn't immediately think what I did: May is an empath, touching others to get their emotions. BAHRAIN PEOPLE!!!!! I can't stress this enough... So could so easily go the way of little Katia Belyakov, sucking people's pain in order to feel something.
"I wonder where we are in time?" *No More Mr. Nice Guy plays on the radio* "OK, could be the 1970s... or we could be back in our normal time... or anywhere in between"
the song was released in 1973. the radio usually plays latest songs..I mean thats why they turned the radio on instead of buying a calender😂
let the last season of the show please be colsone LMD saving himself in the loki incident and then sending that version to the future to live with may. for gods sake.
That’d be awesome
Fantastic episode! Watched a good video on how the actor who plays Sousa was also NYPD cop in 2012's Avengers. With them time traveling could they write that it is actually him? Look forward to next week 1970s!
I was watching a partial replay of Elizabeth Henstridge doing a live stream with Jeff Ward, the director of this episode, and 'Enoch' , the actor playing him mentioned the "Crazy Canoe" was also the set for the bar on Kitson.
"You're forgetting shit. Gonna send you to the Normies." It's sad but true lol
May has basically become River Tam, now and I love it
Or Mantis from the comics since the one from the movies doesn’t know how to fight.
I wonder is we would see agents Lance and Bobbi again this season. Or maybe another inhuman like Lincoln or Jiaying (Daisy's mom)
Dollhouse was awesome, really ahead of its time. It also had Maurissa Tancharoen on it as a writer, producer, and actress, who is also all of the above and co-creator on Agents of Sheild (she played Sequoia, Deek's girlfriend). She was also a writer, producer, actress, and singer on Dr. Horrible (she was the tiny Captain Hammer groupie with pigtails).
Guess this is how Sousa makes it into The Avengers as a cop.
So 30s, 50s, 70s huh? How many episodes again this season? If they keep jumping 2 decades then after the 70s they would be in the 90s, which is when SHIELD made contact with aliens in Captain Marvel (where Coulson knew about Kree he later didn't remember) and when Coulson and May first met. Then another 2 decades would be in the 2010s when SHIELD forever changed due to the formation of the Avengers and is also when Coulson first died.
Same as S6, 13 episodes. So at 2 per time-period, room for another 4 eras - 70s, 90s, 2010s, then present day and/or near future for the last 3 eps maybe ? I'm wondering if when they meet up with Fitz they start controlling the hops precisely and the later episodes jump around within the show's own timeline.
Welcome to Legends of Tomorrow of the MCU

You guys have never seen Dollhouse!? DUDE! Y'ALL GOTTA SEE DOLLHOUSE! ELIZA DUSHKU IS AWESOME! And so is everybody else.
With the mention of both Enver Gjokaj in Dollhouse (which I'd *love* to see Blind Wave react to) and Coulson's cellist, I feel I should mention that the cellist was played by Amy Acker, who was also a key character on Dollhouse. Also Dichen Lachman (Jiaying, Daisy's mom), Reed Diamond (Daniel Whitehall), plus a few familiar faces from Firefly that I won't name because of potential spoilers.
Saw this in an Easter egg video for this episode. What if the chronicom helps Hydra develop Zola’s algorithm? They know all of human history, past and present, so they could give that to Hydra for the algorithm.
“You’re forgetting stuff Aaron, I should send you over to the Normies.” HOLY SHIT I’M FUCKING DEAD!
Ok, add "crime noir show narrated by Clark Gregg" to "list of things I never knew I needed but now desperately want".
Eric can you tell me when I get married? like holy shit how are you guessing everything right in this show
If anything changes in the future when this ends, I hope it's that Davis comes back. I really want to hear that story he tells.
I really hope they ultimately save Davis from Izel. But my most out there hope is that it's actually the team that saves him from AIDA and we get to _see_ that story.
so due to character limit on twitter I couldn't explain my timeline theory in depth so I'll do it here and hope the guys see it: (sidenote: take a shot every time I use the word "timeline")
so as Engame established, what has happened cannot un-happen. it's impossible for a time traveler to alter something in their past (or the general history that they know) so whenever they do it, it just means that they're in a different timeline. so, for example, the simple fact that Loki escaped with the Tesseract means that the 2012 Avengers 1 time that they visited in Engame was a different timeline because in the original timeline Loki was taken back to Asgard by Thor and imprisoned. so that should also mean that Loki TV show is gonna be in a different timeline too. when Steve went back to Peggy and stayed, that also means that he went to a different timeline because in the OG timeline (from Cap 1 until the first avengers movie) steve rogers was absent. I believe it was either the Russos or one of the screenwriters who confirmed that Steve indeed stayed with Peggy in a different timeline and Old Steve in Endgame was summoned from that timeline.
now, with that established, let's talk about SHIELD. they also time traveled to a different timeline and we know this because this timeline (let's call it Destroyer of Worlds or DoW for short) wasn't affected by Thanos. no one at the lighthouse in the future ever mentioned Thanos. you'd think desolation of half of the universe would come up in a history lesson that Deke dropped on Daisy but it didn't. after they returned there were only two Thanos references: one was a throwaway line about stuff happening in NY that didn't even work in the time-frame of the events of that season finale and Infinity War, and the second one was Cassius' dad mentioning him but it was still super vague. interestingly, there was a brief conversation that Deke and Fitz had about Multiverse a few episodes before the finale (don't remember exactly which episode, i'm sorry) that hinted at SHIELD's break from the Main Timeline. so my theory is, when they returned back to the present it was the present of DoW timeline, thus SHIELD became detached from the Main MCU Timeline, and when they saved the world they created a branch timeline of DoW. and when they traveled back to 30s it was the 30s of this new timeline. so basically, SHIELD can do whatever they want now, it won't affect the og timeline.
TL;DR: we've theorized for a while that SHIELD was no longer in The Main MCU Timeline and I found where the break happened, it was when they traveled to the future and came back.
I really hope Enoch getting left behind doesn't become a running gag until the last episode. Stoked to have Sousa with the team for the rest of the season, hopefully. With the way the jumps have been happening it's every 20 years which is interesting. It also should mean 90's in 2 episodes time so hopefully we see some 90's Coulson shenanigans.
I love shield soo fucking much, such a shame to see such a good show get cancelled.. it honestly baffles me that this gets cancelled and shit like the flash and supergirl still run on 😒
"You're forgetting shit Aaron, I'm gonna send you in with the Normies".... hahahahahahahahahahahaha
As far as the Malick family, Wilfred died in 1970(unless the Chronicons interfere, he won't be around by 1973) His sons Gideon& Nathaniel would have taken his place in HYDRA. (While it IS a GREAT shame that Powers Booth is gone, Gideon's younger self could be reprised by Cameron Palatas.) Also of note, being in 1973 also means that Arnim Zola(at least his body) is also dead.
Shield shows up at Blockbuster when Coulson was left there in the 90s.
It’s hilarious to me because the main Chronicom is the bully from Hocus Pocus with the long blonde hair
I'm really disappoint of how the crew treat Enoch, after everything he's done for them they treat him as if he is some disposable garbage. He wait more than 20 years for them and they didn't even care.
Seriously!! They need to treat my boy Enoch right...
yeah the only one who seemed like they actually wanted to talk to him was deke
Hi guys. I'm very late with this, you probably won't see it. The council of 9 were Hydra. Their symbol was the same as the space programs symbol that sent Will the astronaut to Maveth which was also Hydra.
I haven't started Agent Carter yet. Was gonna start cause you guys were doing it but now seeing Sousa in this I'm dedicated to doing it now.
I watched the teaser for the next episode and I got a Legends of tomorrow vibes, I'm loving this season is far
What if the Chronicoms working with Hydra ends up creating the same world from the Framework? I'd love to see our team take on their framework selves.
That got me wondering about Framework too, but let’s be honest, Framework was pure hell
Eliza Dushku -Dollhouse "Did I fall asleep?"
"you're forgetting shit aaron! i'm gonna send you with the normies" LMAOOOOOO
Lol I love the Normies too and I can say for certain that your joke about them forgetting stuff is 100% accurate and they would agree too :D Love hearing you guys talk about each other. It's like a weird crossover.
Eric was on fireeee!!
Most epic crossover would if now that Disney owns Fox would to see Wolverine back in the 70s when he was time traveling, during Days of Furture Past.
Sousa has to be alive long enough to have a kid who can become a cop in 2012 when the avengers are fighting in New York
Or maybe it is actually him
I love the dialogues in this episode, is clever and very well written
If the cop that appears in 2012 Avengers is actually Sousa? (same face)
Eric and Arron should watch the Bill Bixby Incredible Hulk show if they wanna see more Hulk,
I'm so happy that you guys got to watch Agent Carter before seeing this season. I think if you'd just gone into this season of AoS without seeing it, it would have cheapened the experience for you and us watching you because we would know how great Sousa was and you wouldn't have gotten the full experience of this. I love how excited you are to see him join the crew and being The Most Competent Mf as always. The discussion about Bruce Banner's childhood was interesting. I don't know about that part of his story much but I like the idea of the experiment latching onto the aggression that was already in him with his imaginary friend. The experiment was meant to be a replica of the super soldier programme and it was a big concern for the original super soldier programme be done on Steve because he was inherently good on the inside. Maybe what happened to Bruce is exactly what they were trying to avoid when trying to purposely choose an extremely good and balanced person for the serum. It's super cool seeing the two sides of the same idea.
The makeup of the crew and each person's backstory is so insane and crazy at this point.
Extra points for using "true blue" perfectly at 29:16, it didn't go unnoticed.
If each jump is 20 year later that would mean the next time period after the next 2 episodes would be the 90s, after that the 2000s, specifically the 2010s. Possibly making sure Avengers movie coulson gets to T.A.H.I.T.I
Oh almost forgot!
May can feel everyone’s feelings!!!
She has psychic power now!!!!
OMG!!👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗
Considering the fact that may of all people has this, she is always the “robotic” one, now she has power of feelings!! How iconic!!😇😇😇
Also black and white view from Coulson LMD fits the 1950s!!! 🎉🎉🎊😂
Shots fired across the Normies bow.... Ooooooohh! Way to prognosticate Eric.
Is it me or are they creating too many ripples in the timeline (Both the gang and Chronocoms?)
Man this whole season has been brilliant to watch and I will be sorry to see it end.
I think that Souza has to die before it's all over.
May has become an Empath but Yoyo lost her speed I guess her and everyone else are like fuck it's not that important?!? I mean if I were Yoyo and had super speed for years I would be like guys you need to fix me or be freaking out.
A most excellent reaction.
@@secretchiley I have no clue what your statement means. I'm just commenting on this video and speaking my thoughts as to what may happen.
The Normies are now in Season 7 of SHIELD
You guys touched on this in the video...but for me the best reason to watch the show is the writers give us what's best for the story, not what we want yet we love it anyway, it's a very rare skill!
With that in mind, I think a cool cameo would be Nick fury, since this season is so wrapped up in the history of Shield that would make sense, and if Sam Jackson is unavailable, they can do young Fury and cast a younger actor since we are in the 70s!
Connor Rick where ever you are, once you finish that video love to see it.
Me after they saved sausa:
OMG! Blind waves predicted it right!
They saved sausa, faked his death and that’s why he appeared in the first avengers movie!!
Wow!!!!😲😲😲😲
I’m beginning to think that this season is like another time loop like season 5!
Only difference is that season 5 they travel to the future, now they travel to the past!!
Maybe all of this is meant to happen so that Koenig joined S.H.I.E.L.D. and sausa was in the avengers movie in 2012
All of the last 6 seasons was a big time loop!
Now they’re near the end!!
OMG!
Can we imagine that, all these years, it was predestined!!
I would love this theory!!!❤️❤️
And now sausa is on board!!
🎉🎊🌸👍
Maybe they can fix his leg! Easy peezy lemon squeezy!!
Shield is stronger with sausa‘s help!!!
Walford Malick!
No matter how tough he is now in 1955, he is still the scared coward in 1931 like he always has been!!!
Like the little inhuman May killed when she became the Calvary. The guys have forgotten that it seems.
when they came back from the future(season 5), they came back to a different timeline, by traveling back in time they came back on the main timeline and they were always part of the past, we just didn't know about it. I hope the the end of the season ties in with The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
There's a promo video for the up coming episode while in the 70s and looks good Enoch is back
i really like how deke handled himself and didn't have to be saved for once, i feel like he's getting better at the agent stuff
