I grew up with George and Alec too. I didn't watch Micheal Angelis that much but I'm happy that he dedicated his life to narrating Thomas and Friends. He can rest peacefully in heaven now
(Michael Angelis was reincarnated as Sailor Moon. Basically hes reborn as Sailor Moon with a British man voice.) Sailor Moon : (in Michael Angelis' voice) hello my chaps. I'm back from the dead. Sure, I may have be reincarnated as a Japanese anime girl in a sailor suit, but hey, I like this look better. I heard about the newer Thomas and Friends. Its rubbish. Oliver : Michael! You're back! Toad : We missed you! Donald and Douglas : (in Scottish accents) Welcome back our old friend! BoCo : It feels good to have you back Michael. Sailor Moon : (in Michael Angelis' voice) It feels great to be back. Although I have to walk in high heel boots and a small skirt now. Hi Dirty Percy. Percy : DON'T CALL ME DIRTY PERCY!!!!!
you know how much of an impact Micheal had on Thomas & Friends when in 2006 you were listening to The Nightingale by Hans Christen Anderson on the radio and from the kitchen you're dad tells ya off thinking you're listening to the legendary tank engine
7:18 (Duck) "I'm Great Western and I --" (Donald) "Quack, quack, quack!" (Duck) "What?" (Donald) "Ye heard? 'Quack, quack', ya go. Sounds like you need an egg laid. Now wheesh it, and let an engine sleep!" "Quack yourself!", said Duck indignantly.
I know people criticize the excess narration in hero of the rails, but I think both narrators did a great job, so I would've personally included a few lines from there.
My favourtie Angelis line comes in his first episode, A Scarf for Percy: Percy: Maybe we'll stop feeling cold if we talk about warm things, like sunshine and steam.... Thomas: ..and fire lighters The snide and casualness of how he reads that line, it adds so much character and normalcy to the world of Thomas, it's not so quick and choppy like Ringo's narration (as much as Ringo is a quality narrator), and just feels more casual, like two friends having a chat before work.

Well, he's reunited with George Carlin. But yeah I grew up with George Carlin and Alec Baldwin. I started to notice Michael Angelis in 2006.
I Grew Up With Micheal Angelis 2007
Michael Angelis was the best Thomas narrator ever and was the first one I watched.
3:17 Nooooo!
Much better!
Am glad that Micheal Narrated Thomas
R.I.P Micheal Angelis
He was the UK's own Mel Blanc.
1:06 Michael Angelis (who died on May 30th, 2020) is saying, ""Grrrrrrrrr, aaaarrrrgh!!!!" wailed Mavis."
Angelis sounded like he was having a blast narrating Season 6. May he Rest In Peace.
May he Rest In Peace, He was such a man who loved his job. 😢
3:17 "Nooooooo!", wailed Duncan, "I'm asleep!"
1:17 (Smudger) "Listen, Dukie, who worries about a few spills?"
(Duke) "We do here," I said, "but Smudger just laughed."
(Smudger) "HEHEHEHEHE!!!"
Thomas:"Bust my Buffers!,I'm very sad"
Percy:"Me too, I'm glad that he narrated some seasons with our voices"
Duck:"Indeed Percy,indeed"
RIP Michael Angelis

All the narrators (Michael Angelis, Alec Baldwin, Michael Brandon, George Carlin, Mark Moraghan, and Ringo Starr) were great.
11:43 "Ouch!", said Oliver. "Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!"
James: HA-HA!!
A-Woof Woof.
I'm American, and I don't care if he wasn't good in his American debut. He was still very good. And the news is too hard for me.
You’re right, it’s very upsetting
