Buckethead is one of the progressive and creative artist of this century... Too bad that he's underrated and he should get more respect from people... He can play everything! :)
@solomuse69 absolutely right, ironicly Bucketheads 'style' engobles almost every genre, as i 've seen since i know him. So we coud say or conclude that Bucket's style is unclassificable cause he is always trying something new ^^ .He's a musical genius without any doubt , so this is wat u get when u mix talent at playin and creativity... Explosion of sounds and originality for many tastes on music ^^ thats at least wat u can expect from someone like him , and this is the good thing about him.
@mooseeater2 so true.... my friend shows me this music that i never heard before but i still can predict when is gonna slow down, speed up, and drop down and up an octave. it all sounds the same except for a few things like sining and different types instruments. Buckethead on the other hand..... never heard anything as amazing and different in a good way than anyone else
@mobgripone Good comment, and this is just a drop in the bucket..He puts out 4 or 5 albums a year so a lot of his stuff is probebly comes from a riff here and there or just made up on the spot..He put more albums out than any artist i know of..Altrhough some albums are strange not meant for average listening
Botnus on the Same album (enter the Chicken) is also similar in Genre. This song contains Keith Aazami, Buckethead, , Dan Monti, Dirk Rogers not sure which ones are singing
i think the name of my favourite buckethead song is Auntie Suisies Space cadilac...or sumthing like that just got into buckethead its a nice and mellow song
OK ok, i figured out the lyrics for the screaming intro: Why violent, happy paranoia, to this day, dad was a girl. All i wanna break, shot in the foot, AHHHHH!!! big dog, big dog, big dog, big dog, big dog, big dog! Pay yourself, then break your legs! Stay baby stay, i dont know the test! Holes are so fun, now way to describe! Gay old chair, everybody die!!! Yea, i doubt thats the lyrics but thats what is seems! haha
@Gorgorotted666 - there was a band some years ago called Cathedral.. the singer hear sound like him. I was wondering if it was him. The name you gave was Dirk?
You get of Coltrane's blue train, shake of those sweet blues with a drink of GnR nightrain and soon find yourself on Buckethead's funbus heading straight for bucketheadland. Any other musical trains or buses I'm overlooking?
@neymacastro lol.. the voice really sounds like TIl's lindemanns lol.. i love Rammstein asweell xD they were one of my fav groups when i was.. younger lol =D But Bucketmean its the awesomest guitar player i ever seen :D
i dont know many like this but if you want to know some amazing buckethead music check out the songs ( Advance to the summit, lotas island, Woods of suicide and The Android of notre dame =)
I'd deffinately take the fun bus to buckethead land , of course the crazy train does go by there. actually better idea to take the crazy train if you want the senic theatrical tour. and best of all not many trafic lights. you can also take the galaxy express 999 train as it slides by buckethead land too.
Anyone have the tab for the solo at 1:18? It sounds like a pentatonic minor box between the 8th and 9th (10 on b) fret or so and then goes into some shredding chromatic stuff (?) in the upper register around 13,15,19 ...please help!!
I listen to a bunch of death metal, I'm used to screams and growls, it's just that this particular song is really strange. Now, if I heard this song like 2 or 3 years ago I would be all "WTF LOL?!". Luckily all the right things happened to let me gradually get into lots of different metal so I like it now :)
I really do like the lyrics! It's just like a carnival mirror to music (industry?) today, and I believe that the growl, and all the sh*t that would just ruin the song is just part of the message. :-)
Why do you let apathy control you Do as you see, do as they do Always looking pissed, sure looks like fun Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! Fill yourself with ignorance, can't understand your incompetence All sense of fun you have discard, there's more fun in a graveyard. (Spooky Whispers) Why has the humor died in music today? Everyone is so serious that I'm afraid to say. Tough guy stance is lost on me Violence is neccessary it proves you are free Happy being, sold mediocrity Failure only happens from originality Its more important to be tough than to have any fun Like an insecure human who fears everyone Music is art that we're afraid to enjoy Like a child who's outgrown his favorite toy Afraid to acknowledge what makes us feel good Afraid to leave the mold , if we only could A group is always easier to follow then finding something new to swallow So give us the art thats boring and plain its easier to be different when its the same Fear something new till we're told its ok No time to explore, no time to play The craving for new is something to shun Thinking is bad, it spoils the fun Discover youself with mass appeal pretend your choices make you real (3x) I wasn't feeling that like I feel children...
@TheRunyon123 Those lyrics were not intended be goofy that is for sure...Those lyrics are truth about the lack of creativity in music especially of today. ''I mean,it says'' happy being sold mediocrity, failure only happens from lack of originality? Those lyrics have all kinds of sayings in them pertaining to how bucket and acid trip' view the music world and the trendy attitudes that are common in what people are saying is creative. Its like NO! Genius should be a word reserved for innovators
The lyrics say a lot in this song starting at 0.50 until the end..Totally caps on people today into music happy being sold mediocrity when failure only happens from a lack of originality..Afraid to acknoledge what makes us feel good..Afraid to leave the mold IF WE ONLY COULD. A group is always easier to follow in finding something new to swallow so give us the art that is plain and boring its easy to be different when its the same..
The solo is amazing, one of his best.
at the end he says i wasnt feeling that like i feel children. LOL
Buckethead is one of the progressive and creative artist of this century... Too bad that he's underrated and he should get more respect from people... He can play everything! :)
Wish the intro of the solo was repeated a couple more times, that is juicy!
love the lyrics, love the music.
forever one of the most bad ass songs.
this song is so peaceful...
I like how everyone is fighting over a song that is chastising them for their words. Just enjoy the music you want to and leave well enough alone.
1:30 almost sounds like Botnus solo
My daughter and I are moshing to this \m/
listening to this on half a tab of acid and i am literally blown away by the music style ...
@Rouz102
Absolutely right, all aboard! Also remembered a ride in the Lizzymobile and Lynyrd's tuesday train.
I love this solo.
This entire album is legendary
i remember when i first started listening to buckethead and didn't like heavier music.
boy how i have changed
its insane
this song is so awesome. i could listen to this all day. 16 people have no taste in music!!!
rofl the full audio isn't on this video, but on the album he says at the end
"I wasn't feeling this like I feel children."
This song changed my life.
THIS FOKIN ROCKS
1:19
Buckethead is just like a teenager...he's just curious about everything and wants to try everything.
he needs to play this live
@solomuse69 absolutely right, ironicly Bucketheads 'style' engobles almost every genre, as i 've seen since i know him. @dannyhood66 I agree with you. Idk why I said the lyrics were goofy but I love both artists and I love this song.
the intro is badass!!!
@MsGiants99, that's an understatement...
buckethead and friends are comming to denver and i hope they play this song..but i have a feeling they wont
we are one is another song with vocals. enter the chicken is the album with alot of songs vocalized.
Botnus on the Same album (enter the Chicken) is also similar in Genre.
This song contains Keith Aazami, Buckethead, , Dan Monti, Dirk Rogers not sure which ones are singing

omg the sining sounds like the dude during the frets on fire tutorial!!!!
Buckethead is not shred or experimental. He's a true musician. His label is art. And btw the genre is Avantgarde metal.
everytime i hear this song, my mind is blown
@nottoberemembered The Crazy Train dude. How'd you manage to forget that?
i think the name of my favourite buckethead song is Auntie Suisies Space cadilac...or sumthing like that just got into buckethead its a nice and mellow song

@Gorgorotted666 - there was a band some years ago called Cathedral.. the singer hear sound like him. I was wondering if it was him. The name you gave was Dirk?
Brutal...
You get of Coltrane's blue train, shake of those sweet blues with a drink of GnR nightrain and soon find yourself on Buckethead's funbus heading straight for bucketheadland. Any other musical trains or buses I'm overlooking?
Just to let you guys know, he says "I wasn't feeling that like I feel children" at the end.
I love this song, just as much as I did 167 playcounts ago. Anybody know any other good half-death metal songs?
@neymacastro lol.. the voice really sounds like TIl's lindemanns lol.. i love Rammstein asweell xD they were one of my fav groups when i was.. younger lol =D But Bucketmean its the awesomest guitar player i ever seen :D
@BrutalDecapatation i looked it up but its not brendan smalls.
@zarnack21 I think they're awesome when you get used to them.

Luke Passalinqua try Botnus. It’s got another face melting solo, We Are One features Serj from S.O.A.D.
0:00 - 3:24 is my favorite part
The end of thoughts.
I'd deffinately take the fun bus to buckethead land , of course the crazy train does go by there.
actually better idea to take the crazy train if you want the senic theatrical tour.
and best of all not many trafic lights.
you can also take the galaxy express 999 train as it slides by buckethead land too.
Buckethead is the only musician in his genre, his genre is GOD!
I FUCKING LOVE THIS SONG
badass
He indeed does wear a bucket on his head.
@RemorfChuket Maybe he wanted to try something a bit different at the time...
Its no him singing god damn it, and if you don't think this sounds like him you need to listen to all of his music, i love Buckethead
Anyone have the tab for the solo at 1:18? It sounds like a pentatonic minor box between the 8th and 9th (10 on b) fret or so and then goes into some shredding chromatic stuff (?) in the upper register around 13,15,19 ...please help!!

@Gorgorotted666 - Cathedral?
"Funbus" (featuring Dirk Rogers and Keith Aazami)
dunno who does what.
all hail buckethead
What are the lyrics in the beginning, I can't find them anywhere on the internet...
I really do like the lyrics! It's just like a carnival mirror to music (industry?) today, and I believe that the growl, and all the sh*t that would just ruin the song is just part of the message. :-)
yapp
I just love it cuz of the song befor it it makes me laph XD
Why do you let apathy control you
Do as you see, do as they do
Always looking pissed, sure looks like fun
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!
Fill yourself with ignorance, can't understand your incompetence

(Spooky Whispers)

Everyone is so serious that I'm afraid to say.
Tough guy stance is lost on me Violence is neccessary it proves you are free
Happy being, sold mediocrity
Failure only happens from originality
Its more important to be tough than to have any fun
Like an insecure human who fears everyone
Music is art that we're afraid to enjoy Like a child who's outgrown his favorite toy
Afraid to acknowledge what makes us feel good
Afraid to leave the mold , if we only could
A group is always easier to follow then finding something new to swallow
So give us the art thats boring and plain its easier to be different when its the same
Fear something new till we're told its ok No time to explore, no time to play
The craving for new is something to shun
Thinking is bad, it spoils the fun
Discover youself with mass appeal pretend your choices make you real
(3x)
I wasn't feeling that like I feel children...
