You never know what you will hear with Buckethead. Never before have I heard heavily distorted guitars and a banjo sound so good together. Purely genius

It's amazing how Buckethead's music can cause you to create a backstory. Like this one makes me think of a deliverance type story but with horrible mutants chasing you through the mountainside...

This is such an awesome use of music. The ending of "In Search of..." is cool cause you know he finds the mountain, and this song is all about the guy trying to escape the mountain while being chased by a bunchy of bloodthirsty cannibals. Around the end, at about 7:30, it sounds to me like he gets caught and is carried off to be eaten or tortured or something.

Buckethead was filled with overwhelming fear, as he had never witnessed such evil. He quickly realized his only way out of this horrid place is to get back his Custom Gibson Les Paul, but where could it be? He had to get it back. His mind was again racing. He quickly remembered something. Reaching onto his pocket he found something he thought he left at home... his Nunchuks!!! He quickly ran through the zombies and bashed heads in as he ran towards the forest once more.

4.12-4.52 Bucket's efforts to escape soon came to a halt when all around him the earth started shaking. Everything around him was changing. The boy plays the Banjo again, although this time the tonality was diff. It was much more evil. He looked around and saw something move among the rotting bodies. He wondered what sort of evil may be lurking among the dead. He soon found out that there was nothing moving among the bodies... THE BODIES THEMSELVES WERE MOVING!!

He kinda reminds a bit of Zappa, frankly. Sudden twists in rhythms and harmonics. Very innovative! And that dirty, raspy guitar sound is awesome. Somehow doubt that he was conceived anywhere near "Inbred Mountain." (The KFC bucket is just there to throw you off, I think.)
