Actuslly the lead vocals in this song is by mark (guitarist) Myles does the backing. You should’ve watched a live performance of this song. Plz try ides of march by Myles kennedy. And also check out a Swedish new band called brothers of metal 🤘🏼
This was the first time Mark Tremonti took the lead vocals in AB. Kinda letting ppl know he can also sing in addition to being one of the greatest guitarists out there.

Others have pointed it out, but with the video you watched any lyrics aligned to the right side are sung by Mark Tremonti while the lyrics aligned to the left are sung by Myles Kennedy. And yes, the centered lyrics are sung by both.
Thanks for this one, DH. It's a solid song off of a great AB record. I recall you favoring Cry of Achilles, which opens the album. Fortress closes it. This is Tremonti on lead vocals here, and his solo work is loaded with nice stuff, too, leaning more toward metal but with very catchy choruses. He writes really good songs, IMLTHO.

I guess you didn't notice that Myles is not doing the lead vocals here. It's Mark Tremonti, AB's lead guitarist. Myles sings the bridge part. Anyway another great reaction. I think it's time for you to react to their title track of "The Last Hero" album 😁🅰️🅱️💙🤘.

Hey got a new band for you to check out. East coast band called Plush. 4 girls all 21 and younger, drummer is 17 and these ladies rock. They had their debut album drop Oct 30th. There's many live vids on UA-cam. Their 1st single Hate climbed the rock charts, I think it made it to 24th the last time I heard. Whole album is great, couldn't go wrong with any song.
Dude not gonna pile on you about Mark singing this 1. But did you know that Mark has a band of his own called Tremonti, go figure right. They have 5 albums and as a matter of fact their latest just dropped a couple of months ago. It's called Marching in Time. There are already many youtube vids out there of songs from the album. Do yourself a favor and listen to the official vid of the title song Marching in Time. It's them playing live, awesome.

This album fortress really is a hidden gem in Hard rock, one of thr best albums I think ive ever heard.
