The twenty or so seconds where you two were just staring, bouncing up and down, was fucking amazing. Watching that smile grow as you saw how ridiculous the situation was is the perfect way to describe that. Sometimes games just need to be ridiculous like that.
people that want this nerfed honestly need to lighten up. its fun, unique, and it not like theres nothing you can do. the soldier on their team made a play and did something. dps and support players can still interact and affect the outcome.

@@ubadman1 Yeah, its easier to shutdown than they think it is. He just turns into a tankier orisa with a shorter range when he ults, just deal with him like you'd deal with an orisa (Until they figure out how to extend the limited range of ramattra by tping him into the enemy team monka)

What I love most about Ram is when there are two ulting at the same time, I can't see shit past their little dance. Basically a smoke screen ult.

Ramattra players are really just Rocket League players in disguise. If two ulting Ramattras meet, they come face to face and hold block until outside forces break the stalemate, the same rule as in Rocket League when two cars clash head to head, they hold down the gas and keep going forward until the tie breaks naturally or an outside force breaks it for them.
Gotta love it when both teams respect the tank face-off in the middle of the fight 😂

Now I'm imagining a superhero who goes up to villains and goes "it's suffering time!" but instead of doing anything cool he just breaks down into a crying fit, and the villains just kinda awkwardly stare at each other
In lower level play Ram either dominates or gets stomped. So it's a lot more dynamic.

I feel like Block should have a meter kind like how Dva's Defense Matrix does. Something that makes it so you can't just hold block forever. I do love the absurdity of two Ramattra's holding block during ult and just staring at each other though.

I feel like his biggest thing is that he's an anti shield character/brawler, at least in lower ranks. He has a field day against rein, sigma doesn't have a good day, and doom has a really bad day vs him. He also does really well against Winston if he ever tries to fight you, but most of them just keep their distance.
As a RAMATTRA main Reinhardt is my favourite punching bag! I feel happy when i see a Reinhardt in enemy team!
My usual strategy is when he charge at me i pop off nemesis and beat him to death quickly!
in low ranks his ult is just free ground, atleast with hog or sigma ult you can sleep them to continue contesting payload, but ram forces you to give them ground for a few seconds or die since his ult doesnt pause when slept and lower ranks are too bad to actually kill a properly blocking rammatra especially one with a pocket

If you learn the punch +melee then block combo you can add in melee damage without reducing attack speed and then you can diff other ramattras

Flats u can cancel nemesis form before the ult to refresh armor, please try it out its great and also cancel ult before 2nd nemesis form after ult to refrest armor again
@TheLordofEntropy because in stress situations where your low its best to gain that health back, and if the battle is just gonna last 8more seconds then thats worth it, basically putting a nail in the coffin of the fight
@The Lord of Entropy if you dont cancel the 1st nemesis form you cant get the armor from the 2nd time doing nemesis form, you can wait to end sure, but you may die before it ends
i’m curious to see who emerges as the best ramattra. both on the ranked ladder and in OWL. i think he has potential to be one of the best tanks overall
he is literally one small buff away from being unstoppable

False because many characters are not helpless..Junkrat can blow you away..Ana can nade while everybody shoots him or Ana can just sleep him..If everybody shoot and back away he dies..I mean it literally happen to flats..He just said everybody just runs..Right after the team back away and killed him..

@@justhit6673 That team does nothing for ram..He not slow like he was before so boosting my speed aint helping..Kiriko heals but ram needs utility..Ana and mercy helps me the most because he needs alot of healing to survive.Most so then any other tank because he is a easy target..Biggest hitbox in the game has hard counters..Ana,Junkrat,hog,orisa, like he seriously can't do vs orisa..He can't kill her but she can destroy him with eaze..I can't even block because javelin takes me out of block. Having luccio you missing out on alot of healing..All so I can use my ult and maybe win one team fight..I played hours of games and it's rare I get to whip out a whole team with ult..They team usually just splits up and shoot me from all angles..Or I got to choose who to kill and let the others go..But the whole time I am killing two the others are shooting me in the back or killing my support from a distance..That ult is great for stalling but it not this menacing all in nobody survives ult..I watch orisa literally be all in my face while ult is on and kill like it's not active..That character is fing broken..They can not leave her in this state..Especially if they are nerfing hog..Like it's hog and orisa game every other tank is wishing they could be as good as them
@@justhit6673 Oh I forgot Bastion and Sigma counter ram to..Rock knocks you out of block..And Bastion spraying you still takes a good chunk of damage while you are blocking..If you don't block you die sooner

I think we need to revert the tank ult charge back to full charge. If tanks get to be unkillable if the supports are doing their job and tanks do as much or more dmg than the dps then at least we can farm ult off them

Because they're in voice already. Ping is mostly an alternative for voice. And it's quickplay, they don't take it super serious.

Maybe his block should have no movement speed reduction when in his ult?
Rammattra's kit kinda just feels like old Orisa except the ult is just for you and it just pushes the damage into an AoE rather than boosting your active damage, and his block is a weaker fortify that has no cooldown. Also, his ult is so dumb. Did they test it against itself? It feels like it was rushed out and overlooked in testing.
Or what if they made his block a partial block? As in, he holds one arm up, but you can still throw punches with the other arm, just at half the rate of the attack speed.
Also, may I just say, I think Kiriko's cleanse is dumb and its design is anti-fun, useful or not. I think it should stop damage being taken from DoT attacks (as well as just making players invulnerable), but it shouldn't remove the anti-heal mechanic, it should just stop the damage being taken. That way, it cleanses them of damage dealt, but still leaves a window for opponents to counter and punish poor positioning after their DoT stops. It would still directly counter Junker Queen, which is stupid and goes completely in the face of the "no counter picks" philosophy, which I think the game desperately needs, but I think JQ just needs a Rework regardless.
I think JQ is fine the way she is, no rework because her kit is already fun
The more I watch higher level of play, the more I'm sure of that healers are the actual keys to winning in this game. If I tanked like Flats does (and I do often tank... in my trash-tier ELO), I'd be dead in seconds. I have to take care of my own health most of the time as the healers are busy flanking and doing other stupid shit. Both them and the DPS pay little or no attention to any plays tanks try to make, and it often ends in misery. I mean, my game-awareness and mechanics (or lack thereof) are probably the main reason that I am where I am, but healers really CAN carry in this game.

Honestly if ramattra becomes meta i feel orisa will as well. Her kit is a decent counter to ramattra's, and she'd be good at forcing him to keep his distance with her cooldowns and her new buff to falloff means she can do a decent amount of damage as well as keeping him away. And if there's a good team behind him, reinhardt might be a bit more meta too, as he does a surprisingly good job against him
I don't see how the game is fun anymore. The tanks are so op now and can shit on everything, especially Ramattra.

His primary fire melts dps units in like 1.5 seconds. His ultimate one shots them. Seems balanced to me.

Doom hits for wet noodles. doom is nowhere viable unless you have insane dps and healers. You're asking way too much from the character just to get stuff to go your way. He needs damage buffs, it's beyond obvious at this point.

Nano ram is all I am seeing in bronze. At that rank, it is basically a team wipe. Mostly because people do not know how to avoid. Or let him sleep. Or move away. I want out of this elo so bad XD. I was gold tank in the past, but this new ranked system feels bad. Between people leaving mid-match, and this new insta-lock ana/ram I am hating life in ranked. lol
