    I have one question, what pumps in the tank are handling this? I like this setup

  • @goblue2708

    Son by adding the port plates, it essentially makes the LT4 a dual injection fuel system?

  • @matthewpfeiffer3527

    So this system actually tees off of current fuel system so when getting into wide open throttle is it basically the port injection running the car? I currently have a aux dsx low side hooked into the main line so that could only help at this point I'm thinking?

      The DI system is still providing its full capacity and the port system is supplementing any needs beyond the DI’s limit.

    Hey Mike, great video. Can you do one (even on grease board or a napkin) how you would do a return style system? I have triple pumps in the tank, and a single 10 AN line coming up to the engine. That's when things make my brain hurt! It's pretty straight forward on an old school setup with no flex sensor and DI connection. That's where I'm confused a little. If I feed the front of the rails using a "Y" fitting from the -10 AN feed, then what on the back of the rails? I'm planning to put the regulator at the back of the system, then a -8 return to the tank... Any thoughts on the "best" way to do this? Thanks!

      @LoSBacKFirE Рік тому +2

      I know this is an old post but for reference you would run your feed to the Y. 1 leg of the Y runs to the HPFP. The other leg of the Y hits the back of one of the rails. You then cross over the front to the other rail and then return back to the regulator from the back of that rail. In that configuration you have a consistent flow of fuel through the port rails as well as a direct feed to the HPFP.

    I have a 2018 sierra denali 6.2 l86 with a 2.9L Whipple blower on it, well this work or do you design a kit for my truck?

    • @toohighpsi
      @toohighpsi  Рік тому +2

      It will, you need the SC plates with the Bosch 78 lb/hr and ReFlex controller. Only difference on the trucks is the Camshaft signal wire needs to go into PIN 33 of the X3 connector, everything else is the same as LT1/LT4.

    Looks very expensive to add port injection to C7. Can you post an estimate for a base C8?
    Is this system similar to OEM Sequential Port Injection in the C6?

  • @johnkussmann6224
    @johnkussmann6224 Рік тому +2

    wow this is still cheaper then a, Cam, Big Bore HPFP, and Upgraded Injectors. to me this is a great option to hit 850 whp, with low side upgrade and run full e85, and no METH!

    Mike, Question... I'm currently running a 2650 on my c7Z. I have stock cam, injectors and HPFP. I do have a dsx low side and running 15psi. If I add this port injection with the 60# injectors or even 80# what kind of power increase will this support with my mention fuel system? I also have dual nozzle meth currently. Can I pulley down the upper from my stock 90mm to an 80mm and add an 18% lower for say 20+ psi? on full E85? Also who tunes this hybrid port injection?

    • @toohighpsi
      @toohighpsi  Рік тому +3

      I'm told the stock in tank pump + DSX will support approximately 850 RWHP on E85, this will be this system bottle neck.
      I have heard of shops that have replaced the 255 pump in the DSX system to reach higher outputs.
      80lb/hr injectors will give you an injection system capability of at least 1000 RWHP, but you'd need a low side capable of keeping up with that power level.

    How do you regulate Fuel
    Pressure at the Port injectors ? The DI regulates as normal… confused

    Can the LP port plates work with the stock blower also or mainly for the 2650 ?

    • @toohighpsi
      @toohighpsi  11 місяців тому +1

      SC plates are the easiest to use with the Stock 1740 supercharger. LP plates will work with the stock, but you will need to modify the valve overs and coil locations as outlined by Magnuson or use our billet valve covers for proper clearance.
      Plate thickness is the same between SC and LP so it just depends if you ever plan to switch to a Maggie - in which case the LP are a better long term option.

    With the DSX aux pump being upgraded for a 350 or 400 cc. It will be enough?

  • @mikeflores2000

    Unfortunately I don’t have $60,000 for a used model.
    The Lexus LC500 and IS 500
    equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 engine that is part of the Yamaha-developed family. It's known for its performance and is designated as the
    2UR-GSE engine. Carbon buildup on intake
    valve not occur due to dual port injection.
    Gasoline will wash over intake valve.

      Have never run into an electric one that that's able to keep up, so that answer is - no problem.

    Hello, basically this system uses the low side fuel system to run the port injectors, how do you control the port injectors themselves? Also does your kit include all the fittings and lines needed for lets say a stock LT4 supercharger and fuel system? And does the hood close since the adapter plates rise the supercharger by how much? Thanks a bunch this looks like a great system to install on my customer vehicles.

      Hello, you'll need the REFLEX+ port controller for the additional injectors, you can find it at:

    I just bought this same setup and will be running an additional fuel pump. Do you have the additional parts list for fuel line connections?

    • @toohighpsi
      @toohighpsi  11 місяців тому

      See our Camaro blog for details, the line routings are different, but the parts list at the bottom of the blog is essentially the same:

      Thanks for the response. Once i install the plates and harness into the ECU, can the vehicle be driven to the tunner.? Or will it need to be setup on Tunner Pro prior to be driven?

    • @toohighpsi
      @toohighpsi  11 місяців тому

      @@RuiRodrigues-s1m you will be able to drive it to the tuner. System will not operate at all until values are entered into the system by your tuner.

    Will this clear the hood liner on the c7 Zo6?

      We haven’t tried, but I don’t believe so, we’ve always removed the hood liner on this application.
