As someone who is about to start their own company utilizing pickups, thank you for this video. It’s very introspective as to how things are ran with pickups. I look forward to seeing more, good work.
Awesome video! We do the same thing at GFL in Hartland WI, really cool to see other haulers doing the same thing. Just curious as to the dump boxes, who makes them? Again, excellent video, would love to see more in the future!
Thanks. I don't know who makes our dump bodies; sometimes I feel like maybe they were made in-house. But I know Allied Waste had some trucks like these out here as well. They're definitely smaller than the common Par-Kan bodies and don't require a full truck bed. And if we did have the bigger Par-Kans, they wouldn't fit into more than half of the properties we go into.
Usually, organic waste is kept separate from everything else. At the material recovery facility there's a series of machines and people who sort thru the trash and recover different recyclables.
@@94tristen_thetrashman well they changed all the routes last year trying to cut down on overtime it didnt work they're still out past 5 owner is pissed well if they would stop putting up so many new homes they wouldnt be out late

Tyler Mac hey im over here park the highway
Awesome video bro.
Seems like all the backing up into the driveways seems to be a lot of wasted time. Can't the people put out the trash and recyclables to the curb?
No they can’t, per city ordinance.
very nice video

Awesome video! What kinda truck are you in?
A 2017 model of the same truck you see at 9:43
Drastic times call for drastic measures, pretty wild to see the trade off of the loads en route. How the hell is all that sorted?

That lady says take good care, yet she throws away all these beautiful plants at 10:35 , what about those poor plants, so sad.
It was overgrown vegetation that needed to be trimmed.
Shut up dude you say that about all the plants you see a lot of them are weeds and need to be trimmed
Which city is this?
they didnt mix in my area inland empire
Burrtec didn't. They probably took everything to the landfill and kept their routes the same to avoid rearranging their trucks & drivers.
