There are MANY young black kids that speaks and conducts themselves this way. No one pays attention or give praise and accolades UNLESS they’re a celebrity or singer. My son was this way since he was 11 years old. He was asked to attend a private school, full scholarship based off academic scores. This offer was made by the Dean of Boys while myself, my husband and our son were dining out. He played sports, captain of the debate team, student council etc. He speaks 3 languages fluently and graduated high school a year early. He’s now a Junior in college and we are so proud. He’s one of many. I think Society pays more attention on the bad apples and never notice the great kids. God Bless Kobe

He didn't age at all since then because some people go through puberty very fast and their development peaks(Voice, Height, and Mental capacity). This is why he was 6 feet 6 inches at 17 and was still 6 feet 6 inches when he was 41. At 17 he had already reached the peak for adulthood. He was basically in a late 20's early 30's year old body at the age of 17 and this is why his physical and mental state did not change from back then to 41. Also one of the reasons why he did so well in school(Imagine someone in his 30s going to high school... it would be a cake walk for most 30 year olds). So everything peaked pretty early for him (Intelligence, Height, voice) which is very fascinating. The true aging process with him was going to happen when he would have reached his 60's and 70's, which sadly, we will never see.

I hate to say it but having two parents is best. I had 2 parents growing up and a grandmother and my life was so secure. I didn't even know what insecurity was and we were just middle class immigrants. My dad died when I was 14; my grandmother (my dad's mom) returned to Spain. My sister and I were then raised by my single mother who had never worked a day in her life. We drifted into just getting by; and grew insecure, anxious and I did not recover till a few years into my first job out of college. Even then; my mother, my sister and myself have always have trouble with anxiety and stability issues on and off.

He was the son of a pro basketball player, who taught him the game of basketball at an early age and he loved it because of the fact that he was naturally predisposed to it. If you're really good at something, then you probably are going to enjoy doing it. From there, he just always wanted greatness and he knew how to pursue it: discipline and hard work.
