It's Birmingham Range and Stove skillet made from 1902 to 1989 with a Lady Bess commemorative wood handle skillet made in Bicentennial year 1976. Great to see your getaways. Love ALL Abom videos!
Would luv to hangout with the Aboms for a live moment once in a while. Luv camping so for just these views would be enough, wow. In my mind, I'm thinking of less desirable animals lol so cool, my bad! Have a good one! And hello Florida.
Wow that Abom steak looks fantastic. I was gifted a cast iron oven like that. Mine is not as deep as yours. It was used when I got it and I haven't ever used it. I need to look into a recipe and give it a try. Looks awesome
Not sure if it has come up but the skillet with the wooden handle was made by a company called Birmingham Stove and Range. BSR skillets are great and still relatively cheap, i have several. Sort of a collector of BSR’s here. Due to the writing on the back “Made in the USA”. Means it was manufactured post 1964, I believe. I know it’s 60’s for certain. Like most cast iron manufacturers BSR went out of business sometime ago but their products will live on for many many years. Good find, Abby!
Here in south-eastern Jefferson County (Louisville Ky), I have a large evergreen Holly Tree in my front yard, every visit to North Florida I make I bring back some Spanish Moss, right now I have the Only Tree in this entire part of the country that has Spanish Moss draping off it. The winter has been rather hard on it, I need to get some more. P.S.- "How Does that Steak Look", do you really need an answer !
The heaps of gear you bring with you... amazing :) but noone can put price on pleasure. When food needs to be done properly the proper gear needs to be in place. I love these camping videos of yours as much as the machining videos
I grew up in scouting, and some of the best cooking I have ever had was out of a Cast Iron Dutch Oven. If you would like some good camp cooking recipe's, I have several digital scout / camp cooking books that I would be more than glad to send to you if you would like them.
I wish I would have never watched this one. I just had surgery on my esophagus last week and can’t hardly eat. Those steaks looked AWESOME! Hopefully some day!
Hi Adam and Abby. I have a question for Abby. I know your parents have Jack and Raleigh, but sometimes I see a 3rd Golden Retriever. Who's dog is that? Love the videos and the grilling.
That is Jamison, who belongs to Jake and Shanley, Abby’s brother and our sister-in-law. He come from the same parents of Jack. They are English Retrievers.
Bro that little skillet is gonna be a BADASS sauce warmer!! U can even mix up a good BBQ sauce n get it going!!!👍 Good thing using your timer ,I do too juicy!!!💖🌴👍😊😊 LOVED the vid.. I'm gonna be a rv'r soon!!👍
I recommend you try cooking a Dutch oven breakfast called “Mountain man breakfast “ it’s AWSOME. You should also check out a youtuber called Cowboy Kent Rollins he has a lot of Dutch oven cooking vids.
@@Titus-as-the-Roman the difference between a comment and what I did is throw a ? At the end making it a question. Which is what I’m asking because all I see is her just sitting drinking beer and eat. So Tutus can you answer my q?
You're trying to rationalize your comment, frankly it's None-of-your Business what she does or doesn't do. That's not the focus of this video and regardless what punctuation you put on the end it is still a troll like rude comment.
hey Adam, check out my fav. cooking channels on you tube. smokin & grillin with AB, Sam the cooking guy, & food wishes . I also love to cook, & my wife is fine with that. I enjoy both your channels more than you can know. I have learned alot from you, thanx

That’s a great setup you have Adam very cool. Nice job

What is the gadget you put the wood into to split it?
Food looks great. You made us hungry 😋
Love you’re videos...but every time I watch one I get hungry lol
Adam, just a note here but if those carrots end up falling on the grill for a few minutes it adds a whole new level of deliciousness .
I bet they do!

There's a few on ebay, one has sold just a couple of days ago for about 30. Probably almost exactly when this video went live.
Looks fun out there. You inspired me to get the Pit Barrel. Hopefully I will be making some ribs soon

I forget sometimes that you're in an East Coast state with a West Coast. I'm a sunset fan also. Somehow I got out of order and watched P2 first.

Really cool cast iron pan, looks like a “egg pan”

@@AbomAdventures I just sent them to you Sir.
I also included one called Tin Foil cooking.
How did that cake turn out?
Turned out great! We liked it but I made some improvements and cooked it a second time later in the week.
Who makes the tubs that you store your charcoal and cooking equipment in

Yep, I've already used it several times on this cook. It's a nice little useful pan.
The bomb!
Why the coals on the lid?
To get even heat, not just from the bottom
Heat from top and and bottom, similar to a conventional oven.
When will the Abom rub be available for purchase
Don't know that yet, I'm continuing to test it and make sure it's worthy of a sellable product.
You could call it Abom’s Flavor Shaper..
full hookups-cost ?
Might depend on the spot but ours is $50 per night.

Nice!! Yummy...:-)
Nice camping ground with sufficient space so you don't have to invade your neighbors personal space by parking too close....
Abby: " How manly is that?"
Me: we love you Abby!
Sooooo.....does Abby do anything else beside eat the food?
Sir, that was something of a Rude comment.
