- Sega finally announced their newest installment in the Sonic series! What seems to be a high budget project may just seem to be the game we've all wanted. What do you guys think about the game?
An open world Sonic game with Ian Flynn as the writer is likely a dream come true for many Sonic fans, so they REALLY better not screw this up or they'll lose a lot of fans.
This game definitely has potential to be great, and I hope it lives up to it because I'd love to enjoy a Sonic game again. If this is done right, I'll have a ton of fun with it. I'm definitely gonna be waiting for reviews though, considering that 1, Sega has made a ton of mistakes with this franchise in the past 15 years and 2, my main platform is the Switch.
Makes sense why you would on the fence of being cautious. Hopefully there are no issues with the Switch!
I think he’ll have to go to different realms to rescue/ recruit his friends and they will be unlockable characters
I like that idea, open world using Shadow and Silver using unique abilities would be sick.
If this game is open world and has a promising story, I would start to have faith in Sonic again if Sega/Sonic team doesn’t mess this up.

Yeah remember that Sonic Colors: Ultimate had 2 episodes made for its advertisement and still was a mess. The concept looks good but I’m still not sold. Yeah Keiji Inafune got some great guys to make Mighty No.9 and everyone will tell you it was trash so that doesnt work on me. Hopefully we’ll get something good at last.
I think we are good hands with where the direction for the game will go, hopefully it satisfies everyone!
