Thank you for this. I bought 20 of them and didn’t know how to make them work because there were no instructions so I didn’t know that the bottom of the bottle had to removed or I had to put an air hole in it.
Thanks for showing the top can be cut off for easy refilling (instead of having to unscrew the bottle every time). I used your link in your description to place my order.
Good video. I didn’t get instructions with mine. Trying to figure out how fast to set the drip for a majesty palm as I’m going out of town for two weeks. Any suggestions?
what is the tool used for?you dont have to cut the bottle its optional. where is tool supposed to be used? i see online text said top of bottle but doesnt that mean water escapes those holes? some say bottom of bottle i assume they mean top when kit setup so really bottom, is to release air presure problem?
yeah pretty much to make a hole to let air go thru when it goes down or else it will be stuck and the water wont come out, not the best design to be honest like you mentioned about spilling if there is hole.
@@HIGHER7RUTH it doesn’t work. The size of the drop is proportional to the height of the water column above the drip. As water reduces the pressure of water decreases n the water stops dripping.

Glad I was able to help! Hope you like it! Thanks for the support!
This looks good. For large pots with numerous plants should more than one be used. I am wondering long it will last for a 2-week period.
Thanks soooo much for showing, now I know how to set up my watering spikes for my plants.
Great video..very helpful
Please suggest can plants survive for say 3 weeks with this system??
Please do reply..
I think mine lasted for around 1-2 weeks from what I remember.

Up to your own preference and what kind of plants you have.
Don't use these. They are crap. They do not work good enough to leave on vacation
what camera and setup do you have? This video looks great!
I use Canon g7x mark ii
Thanks great help, good video.
Glad it helped
Very informative. Thank you ❤

So basically u poke the holes on top of the bottle once it’s flipped .. 🤦♂️
Hiw do you get them to start dripping. I adjust the valve but won't start dripping
Mine won’t drip either
If the top of the bottle is cut, dust/particles may clog the drip in due course of time.
yeah :(
I would just make a hole
That should work

@@kkyogish
i see that sucks
I cut the top off of my bottle and all the water just ran out all over everthing and made a mess! So how does that work?
Lmao wow use your brain. You cut the bottle while empty and just fill it 😂😂
I’m curious how it response in the outdoors. I live in Florida and it’s hot and humid all the time.
Maybe need more water? Since its hotter?
Is It Worth It? I bought a similar unit and the drip had to be glued to the stem to slow the drip. Over all it did well
perfect thanks
Welcome! Thanks for watching!
Does this use 1 liter water bottles
You can use any water bottle to be honest, just gotta be able to balance with the spikes
Can you use more than one spikes for bigger pots
Why don’t you show the bottle and how you cut and attach it!!
