- This is a video on different ways to ensure your plants get watered while you are off on a vacation or away from home for long hours due to emergencies or work. I will go over certain ways to make your own irrigation systems to trying out products that were bought. Below are the products I bought. The plants are growing amazingly with no effort compared to my grow bags that needs watering frequently in our FL sun with lack of rainfall. Have a great vacation!

Have a great vacation & I hope your plants all survive! Necessity is the mother of invention, what great ideas to water those plants while gone. Things sure have come a long way, I had to gerryrig a 2.5 gallon water bottle we had just finished (the rectangular kind that has a spigot on the bottom) to water our newly planted nectarine tree over 20 years ago. I cut a flap on the top to add water from the outside tap and fixed the spigot so that it dripped very slowly - fully filled it lasted a few days. The nectarine tree must've loved being babyed cuz the next year it produced fruit & has every year since. But I digress. Happy vacation!

Do you use the AA batteries for the Moistenland? How many days/weeks do the batteries last? Thank you
I understand it would work for 3 weeks as well? I have Jalapeño Peppers plant.
If you connect 10 tob of flowers, then will it give the same amount of water in all the pots.
How can you make sure all the pot receive the same amount of water.

Can I used this unit for outside plant?
Yes these were all outside...
Is the bucket wrapped in aluminum foil? If so, what’s the reason?
This particular bucket is semi clear. The foil prevents algae from growing in the water and blocks out the sun.
Do the water get to hot?
It may but I have my bucket in the shade and it's been in the low 80s here. My Kratky hydroponics bucket water gets warm but the plants continue to thrive so far.
