"I signed up for frozen man butts and dangit i deserve them." The fact that you must've actually written this sentence on paper at some point delights me to no end. Well done, Clintastic.
It's interesting to look up who worked on it. The 'Wally' who did the music on the ST version was Wally Beben (aka Hagar). The 'Diarmid' is Diarmid Clark who produced a good number of legendary games, and was project director on Mass Effect.
I kinda get the impression that some talented but junior people got assigned the job of making a game based on a very bland premise and had some fun. I mean as an example that cool spotlight effect on the text in the intro is totally unnecessary and probably wasn't trivial to implement, but it's there anyway. There seems to be a decent amount of polish on a pretty basic game.
"And my balls are always bouncing and my ballroom's always full And everybody comes and comes again. If your name is on the guest list no one can take you higher Everybody says I've got great balls of fire"
What an amazing art direction. "We need four colors. Blue, orange... dark blue... and dark orange. That will be definitely distinct and not blend together horribly!" Like, would using red, green, blue and yellow be an affront to some ancient deity or something?
He's already spent this years' balls on one video?! But those balls had to last till the end of the fiscal year!! Now LGR is going to have to go to Congress to ask for more balls, and who knows when they'll decide to review his request!
Your videos are amazing! you can hold us through the whole video only with a good text and your voice, no gimmicks, just good production. You should be proud, for real.
1:24 The small box format was actually the big box format of the time: Packaging wasn't anywhere near as consistent then, but late in the lifespan of the 8-bit systems It was often used for full price releases for the 8-bit computer systems of the day in that intersection of time when both 8 and 16 bit computer games were on the shelves. I remember games like Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles, Chase HQ, Batman the Movie & Operation Thunderbolt coming in these boxes, to give you some idea of the time period.
It's nice to see vids about games I've absolutely never heard of before. Even if the game isn't anything particularly mind-blowing... Still can't wait to see what the heck "Wizzardz Of War Lordz" is all about.
you know that was exactly the game this thing reminded me of, SPOT on NES (and there was an arcade version apparently) and Attaxx in the arcade... crazy stuff!
Darn, I was hoping it would be something interesting like Marble Madness (which drove me crazy and I couldn't get past the second level). But OMG! That 7-up Spot game brought back memories. :D
The only interesting thing about this game is how much effort went into it's portrayal. It's like a whiff of the quirky energy put into 'You Don't Know Jack', but with none of the payoff.
Well, maybe I'm easily amused but I find the semi-anonymous credits hilarious. I wonder what was going on there. Everything could happen in the European scene.
Man, you gotta LOVE some "ball-busting action"!!!.. And, come on, the "Lacktion" is an awesome word, dude! Let's all make that a thing that people say..
Okey im an oldtimer but that main menu and its text remind me a lot of the old font on snake rattle and roll for nes. While the boxart sure looked like someone werent paid enough to make it, the music sure got you pumped.
Hey LGR! Have you played the stock games on those colorful transparent iMacs? Bugdom, cro-mag rally, and nanosaur are full of nostalgia for me. Think it could be a fun video!

You're a gentleman and a scholar.
You are like a modern hero or something.
"I signed up for frozen man butts and dangit i deserve them." The fact that you must've actually written this sentence on paper at some point delights me to no end. Well done, Clintastic.
I'm patiently waiting for the inevitable "balls" supercut video.
Disappointed by the lack of Duke Nukem spamming the "I've got balls of steel" voice line.
Everytime LGR says the word "balls" it's like a whisper of God Himself.
@Luke: Fuck.
Press 2 por extra crispy choco puffs
I swear to God it was out somewhere on youtube. Now it's gone...
"Lacktion" is a perfectly cromulent word.
It embiggens us.
A-hoy-hoy fellows! I wholartedy agreeb, my word-hole has rectumulated some embiggenly cromulent laction this day indeed!
Lactation intensifies.
I dont know, more like dreadful *tinny* sort of word
+ Peter Jonathan Salazar I will use it from now on. Fits perfectly for some games and situations 😁
LGR is my go-to comfy channel. It’s raining out and I’m snuggled in bed with my dog and this is perfect.
preach it, brother!
Hell yes
Yes, LGR and brutalmoose are the comfiest channels for me. Even if I don't particularly care for PCs.
You are damn right.
I love watching LGR videos with a glass of wine and low lights.

There's something about Clint's voice and the way he says, "BALLS".
"BAWLS"
“I’ve got big balls you’ve got big balls but she’s got the biggest balls of them all.”
"My balls are always bouncing to the left and to the right. It's my belief that my big balls should be held every night"
"And my balls are always bouncing and my ballroom's always full
And everybody comes and comes again.
If your name is on the guest list no one can take you higher
Everybody says I've got great balls of fire"
The first Lacktion Game review on UA-cam. Truly carving out your own niche.
You are without a doubt the comfiest UA-camr
What an amazing art direction. "We need four colors. Blue, orange... dark blue... and dark orange. That will be definitely distinct and not blend together horribly!"

I like your balls video
Yes, it was a pretty ballzy move to do
I appreciate the care done with the closed captioning. *radical AdLib music plays*
Nicely done.
"I signed up for frozen man butts and darn it, I deserve them"
Yes you do Clint, yes you do.
L.G.R. actually stands for Lewd Game Reviews ;3
John Squarez - wish I held onto that dos 5.25 strip poker game I found as a kid... Perfect place to send it
I'd let lgr bust inside me
Lgr is Daddy
"I believe I've said the word 'balls' enough for the entire year, and if you enjoyed that, then I'm confused!"
I'm dead 😂

The balls are inert
Did someone say balls? BALLS OF STEEL!?
This is why I use UA-cam
The ball-busting action, that is
For most of this video, I had a certain AC/DC song stuck in my head for some reason.
I could watch LGR videos about "icy butt action" all day long.
"For that matter, where are the naked dudes?"
- Clint Basinger, 2018
I like the part where he said 'balls'.
when did he say that??

I appreciate the improv at 3:20, rolling with the punches like that takes balls.
Thanks for this LGR. I needed a good pick-me-up today.
Your videos are amazing! you can hold us through the whole video only with a good text and your voice, no gimmicks, just good production. You should be proud, for real.
Thank you!
I don't think I've ever heard LGR use the word "balls" that much before, even counting the Duke Nukem videos!
"I signed up for frozen man butts and dang it, I deserve them" ~LGR
This reminds me of "Sonic 3 & Knuckles" and "Sonic Mania's" blue sphere stages.

Man, I just can't get enough of you voice. Smooth as butta!
“You start the game off with blue balls, harr harr” 😂😆💀
It's nice to see vids about games I've absolutely never heard of before. Even if the game isn't anything particularly mind-blowing... Still can't wait to see what the heck "Wizzardz Of War Lordz" is all about.
You could NEVER live up to a titlescreen that awesome. Also "lacktion", I'm stealing that! :)
*"I signed up for frozen man buts and dangit, I deserve them."*
"I signed up for frozen man butts and, dang it, I deserve them." 😂
I'm watching this while waiting for Windows 2000 to install
2:10 Hey, what's this F7 option?
Never mind.
Fooled by tight line spacing.
SEX ON
I just KNEW it would have a Duke Nukem part!! :D Bless you, Clint.
you know that was exactly the game this thing reminded me of, SPOT on NES (and there was an arcade version apparently) and Attaxx in the arcade... crazy stuff!
As soon as you said it was a UK dev, I knew it was going to be isometric. I don't know why that was such a thing in Europe in the 80s and 90s.
Darn, I was hoping it would be something interesting like Marble Madness (which drove me crazy and I couldn't get past the second level). But OMG! That 7-up Spot game brought back memories. :D
Where can I download this soundtrack in high quality flac files?
"If you enjoyed that then I'm confused."
"I've got balls of steel"
Do you?
I'm sick of the of the lacktion in my life.
Just sat on toilet, perfect timing...
Ha! I can remember renting the spot game for the NES, and being very disappointed one weekend as a kiddo
"I signed up for frozen man butts and, dang it, I deserve them." Unexpected quote of the day.
So much innuendos in this video I love it
Clint I've been watching for years. There is no surprise that you were drawn to "The Ball Game". LOL
I wonder how many times he started a new game of Duke in a single lifetime. He probably holds the world record.
"a flaming naked guy" best line ever. Never laughed so hard at one of your videos
I used to play a game like this on Miniclip when I was young, it's called "Hexxagon".
Ball mouse broke from the force of my click.
Thanks for uploading man, my motherboard just kick the bucket.
The only interesting thing about this game is how much effort went into it's portrayal. It's like a whiff of the quirky energy put into 'You Don't Know Jack', but with none of the payoff.
My momma always told me if I played the ball game that I would go blind
Oh the four elements: Earth, Air, Fire, and... the other one! That in the box made me laugh out loud, haha!
Haha, dude, you made my monday with that Duke Nukem scene. Nothing like an RPG to the wall in order to properly clear your mind.
I'm a simple man - I see an LGR video, I press the like button. Although I have to admit, I wasn't expecting these balls in front of my face.
Clint talking about balls. Nothing more suggestive than that right there.
I like the parts where he says balls. BALLS!
OOOOOOOOOOOOO...
LGR, I thoroughly enjoyed this video, highlight of my life.
I love how the floppy has printing instead of a sticker. Very stylish.
Now if it only was on there straight ;).
Cheerleader!
So-and-so!
What's-her-face!
THE OTHER ONE!
that DN3D edit make me laugh sensibly to myself.
Well played Clint.
"I signed up for frozen man-butts, dammit!" - yep, that line's gonna stick with me for a while XD
Hey LGR where is the Lego Rock Raiders review lol
Love your content
Oh goodness, I couldn't stop laughing at that Ball Buster advert! Just fantastic, they really had alot of balls.
This "Steve" guy couldn't have picked different colors than light blue, dark blue, light orange, and dark orange to represent the four elements?!
"Where are the naked dudes on fire and stuff? These guys are cool, but I signed up for frozen man butts and dangit, I deserve them."
Well, maybe I'm easily amused but I find the semi-anonymous credits hilarious. I wonder what was going on there. Everything could happen in the European scene.
In all these years i never realized these guys on the cover are naked (own it on the Amiga).
Well done for making reviews of abjectly crap games so entertaining!
Huh, and here I was expecting a top down maze/puzzle game that I remember from my younger days. Turns out that was Ballgame 2.
Balls, balls balls.
On a side note - This game is essentially the same as the microscope puzzle in "The 7th Guest".
The ball game is bollocks mate.
There was a perfect opportunity for The Duke Voice at 0:17.
The captain planet reference had me cracking up far more that it should.
Every single time you say ball,a Lenny face pops on the screen
If that were to ever happen,I am pretty sure people's computers would be crashing
Wow, take me out to this video, I'm into it!
Edit: I'm a lot less into it afterwards. Please do not take me out to this Ball Game.
One of your funniest videos yet lad
Steve sure knows how to make game graphics, huh? Good ol' Steve.

Committing suicide in Nukem = clearing head. Deep approval.
“I signed up for frozen man butts and dang it I deserve them”

The balls of LGR putting this video out!
Reminds me of that commercial from the 70s where you could bust your opponents balls with the ball buster.
"I've played some board games out of boredom, but this shit - you gotta be REALLY bored!" - Board James
Hey LGR! Have you played the stock games on those colorful transparent iMacs? Bugdom, cro-mag rally, and nanosaur are full of nostalgia for me. Think it could be a fun video!
Hey LGR, you should make a video about the keys on a keyboard that no one ever uses (scroll lock, pause/Break etc.)and delve into the history of them.
6:33 I enjoyed it a lot... and I'm confused too... LOL XD
I really like the presentation of this game, tbh
"Who's your favorite composer? Mick Gordon? Bobby Prince?" Nope. It's Mike.
I enjoy your videos and persona so much man, I wish I could just hang out with you for a day. Please stay awesome.
This video was balls to the wall.
This "Ball" game was such a busting lie in that it made me want to bawl at the screen.
