Madara explains how there is darkness in something that has light in it. The way i see it, you can say there is light in something that has darkness in it. Let's say you have had a relative who has passed away, that is a dark moment. But the light in this is that they are in a better place now and will watch over you. Yes it is an unfortunate thing that they have died but they are in a better life for eternity with the lord
