Imagine if those 'people' makes the rule...Their rule would be ' if you get knocked down once, the fight ends there and you lose the fight automatically...The fight shall not be continued even if you're still able to get back up, still fresh as a newborn baby, able ,and want to fight. @@pedroivonisko1720im not sure what you’re tryna say, many greats like Manny Pacquiao, Roberto Duran, and Oscar Dela Hoya were knocked down and completely unable to get back up. Sometimes even greats can be knocked out, doesn’t make them mediocre
@@kiboma4209 I agree with you, but I was saying it in the context of never giving up, getting up and standing firm no matter what happens. Not just anyone would be able to stay strong after that, physically and mentally, and still achieve a beautiful victory. The Japanese really seem to have a different spirit, I admire them and I have many of them as my favorite fighters. These lessons are not just for boxing, but for life too.

@@peligromakatigbas5142eh not really. Zhang didn't do a lot in the fight. Parker getting knocked down and losing the round apparently makes it 8-10 for that round. So it gives Zhang more of a chance to win. But Zhang only won apparently the first 3 rounds. Parker won pretty much the rest (except round 8 when he was knocked down). If Zhang did a bit more he could have won. The fans on boxrec scored it 112-114 and so did the judges. Seems accurate tbf

Takuma is not really #12 on the p4p list. Boxrec calculates rankings in a weird way and their list are almost always wrong. For example Bivol according to that list is lower than Takuma Inoue at #13 when unanimously he is considered way better than Takuma and a true p4p elite fighter. There is no other respected p4p list where Takuma is that high. That said he is a very good fighter, seemingly getting even better with experience. I hope that now that all 4 belts in the bantamweight division are held by 4 different Japanese fighters (Nakatani, Takuma Inoue, Nishida and Takei) we can see exciting unifications. This is the golden era of Japanese boxing.

For those that didn't watch the full fight Takuma got down on first round yes but showed the gap after that Ishida was outclassed and took a lot of uppercut and kept bleeding from the nose all fight long.So technically Takuma is superior he is just lacking some power, overall he is better that what it mean to be world class level.

People are calling this a robbery, really? As someone who watched the ENTIRE fight, Takuma schooled him.
Kind of freaky how both brothers fell to the canvas with a left hand from their repspective opponent. Not only that, but they were also falling sideways in very similar fashion. Congrats to both for rising up from adversity early on and winning their fights.
Many are pay more attention to his brother, yet I enjoyed this match more than Nery vs Inoue😊

He'll always be compared to his brother and it'll never come out in his favor but I like Takuma and thought this was a fine performance. Ishida's a good fighter and he's been in with some very good guys as well.
