Buzzed to have the Bears in my city. I work in London and weird feeling that I'm probably only a couple of miles away from the team! Can not wait for Sunday. BEAR DOWN
I respect what Cole is saying about the interviews occurring in the locker room. I hope the players can get the privacy they deserve & the press gets their chance to interview the players post game.
That's a thing European Soccer makes better there's a zone near the locker room where players can give post game interviews if they want. It's called the Mixed Zone.
Went to the Bears game Sunday and was pleased with Caleb's development and play-making abilities. Hope he continues his development this Sunday!! BEAR DOWN!
they won't admit it but it's mainly the female reporters. just takes one random reporter to accuse a player of flashing (putting towel on/off before after showering etc.)
Cole is an absolute unit. I love that Waldron has been getting him the ball. I really hope the personnel questions Seahawks fans always bring up is something he has overcome.
I've been watching football for over 40 years and I've never understood why the media is allowed in the locker room. It's never made any sense to me. As a person who played football in high school, and been in gym locker rooms, I can't imagine dealing with that.
I 100% support getting reporters out of locker rooms. I would get weirded out too. I’ve had enough time in locker rooms to know it’s a safe space for me.
I FULLY understand Cole's point, that's THEIR den! And they are like family where the modesty is more relaxed. When you got women and outsider men around you, you try to be respectful and covered up.
In the USA the two commonly supplied shore-power voltages are 120 Volts (60Hz) AC and 240 Volts (60Hz) AC. The standard in Europe is 230 Volts (50Hz) AC
re: locker room I remember hearing a story on the radio back in the 80's Bulls locker room, Robert Parish used to enjoy sashaying by during other player interviews walking through the locker room in his birthday suit cruising by with a knee-length
Got a little tense talking about the media player stuff. Media needs material, players want safe space. Rather then accommodating each other and meeting in the middle they'd be better off keeping each other's best interest in mind so everyone is happy
I think reporters should also start changing with the players make the interview more intimate lol. Jk players should get their privacy especially since they can interview other places. Locker room is for the players. Everyone needs their area.
The locker room is a sacred place. You’re not only changing but trying to process your emotions, your performance, your injuries, etc etc….. They are already required to do press conferences and answer questions so the locker room is completely unnecessary.
This is an extremely niche/nerdy question, but how do players decide who sits where on the airplane, especially in a situation where the aircraft to/from London has a certain number of lie-flat seats?
Cole was open for a TD on the incomplete to Keenan Allen on the second scoring drive. We ended up getting a td anyway, but he settled right in the zone at the 1 with a safety behind him and he would have boxed him out easily like he always does and smacked him out of the way for a td. Caleb needs to take a glance at Cole on those red zone plays because that can be a big source of points all year. Throwing a fade might sound safer but Cole is gonna box out, protect that ball, and always catch it anyway. So go with the sure thing.
Interesting matchups in the Bears Jags game. Bears weak run offense versus Jags strong run defense. The Bears might need to depend more on the passing game against the Jags weak pass defense this week. Hopefully the Bears offensive line can provide solid pass protection for another week. Then, the Jags strong run offense versus the Bears weak run defense. If the Bears offense can start fast again this week and put up some points, that'll help force the Jags away from the run game. It'll be interesting to see if the Bears take the ball this week if they win the coin toss.
Regarding media access to the locker room, the first thought that comes to mind is, does media have access to locker rooms in female professional sports? I don't know, but I would guess not. I'm pretty sure fans and the public would see that very differently.
Somebody already commented about this but Cole’s quads are just.. I mean they almost look like a fat guys legs lol. But he must have a super strong base damn. Honestly I just started watching the Bears again this season. Bad fan lol. But I thought Cole was a little corny at first with the home run swings after TDs but realize now he’s very cool just not afraid to be himself. Hope the guys have another nice offensive game and go for the win. Enjoy the 🍺s as well guys. Go 🐻s!
I'm sure if Kevin Warren had his way, the media would get 2 official press conferences and one team statement a week and no media access to the team. #controlthenarrative
According to one of the NFL films videos I watched on the evolution of NFL broadcast the center ref sitting around the middle LB has a mic in all games so I’m guessing Coleman came off that but either way it was definitely loud on that play lol
The elephant in the room is the fact that there is now more female reporters than ever before. Having them walking around the locker room trying to get interviews while guys are changing after a shower is just weird.
i don’t even understand why this is an argument, imagine someone you barely know was interviewing you as you were getting dressed for work lmao. everyone would hate that
That's what im saying, they have press conferences for Head Coach and QB during the week which are the main people you need to hear from anyway. As long as you have game day who cares. Also as someone who has worked in a professional locker room, I take the players side mostly. Most of the media people ive come across are so entitled, they love feeling like a big deal because they can be in a locker room lol its pathetic.
HBOT bro… why isn’t every player in the league using Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy to recover? I wouldn’t even need to tell anyone how amazing more oxygen in your blood increases your stamina too. It’s legal and helps you recover super fast as well as gives you an edge on game day. I’d have one in every team training facility.
Having a team in another country isn't a good idea tbh. Sounds a lot like a nfl schill trying to convince us the game isn't big enough so we need to expand cuz there isn't enough money in the NFL already.
Yea I never understood media in the lockeroom. Like, geeze do the media really need to be literally upa bunch a dudes stinky butts? Let them shower, change and get themselves together - there's already post-game press conferences!
Could we get Cole’s favorite play and least favorite play of the game? It could replace keys to the game since they are always run ball, win turnover battle, play complementary football. Due to scheme question issues, he can’t really provide anything of substance.
I'm so cautious about believing Caleb may actually be the guy. Been burned so many times. But if his progress isn't just a result of bad opposition, then the sky is the limit. With that defense, they can hang with anyone. I'll be more comfortable when they beat a team with more than 1 win. BEAR DOWN
Bit of BS there. If he is standing out they need to get him on the field. Flus wanted his high priced guys come around. Bill M was the bar, and Nate didn't get over it.
Don't underestimate UK Bears fans fellas. We know the game. It's going to be loud in the stadium on Sunday!
Let them hear it! Hope to see a lot of navy and orange out there
As a 40yr fan... Passing off responsibility to u Brits for the weekend... Don't let us down👍

Same here! Love it that they are in London this year.
And there are rumors about a Spain game next season
Hey cole thanks for making time for the Fans. You are easily the best TE I've watched on the Bears since Greg Olsen.
Bear the Hell Down! 🫡💯💪🏾
Agreed 100%!

Cole freezing up when referencing himself as chiseled is why i love him.
Just humble, confident, and great at football. Plus, chiseled.
Went to the Bears game Sunday and was pleased with Caleb's development and play-making abilities. Hope he continues his development this Sunday!! BEAR DOWN!
LETS FUCKING GO COLE TD AND PERFECT SNAP. HIGHEST PAID LONG SNAPPER IN GHE LEAGUE
I agree with getting the media out the locker room. Media should have their own appropriate time. The players should have their personal space!
they won't admit it but it's mainly the female reporters. just takes one random reporter to accuse a player of flashing (putting towel on/off before after showering etc.)
Die hard bears fan here! Since 92💪 love the 85🔥
The beaRz💪💪
Cole is an absolute unit. I love that Waldron has been getting him the ball. I really hope the personnel questions Seahawks fans always bring up is something he has overcome.

I am hyped for this game! Cole is gonna have 2 TDs in a Bears Victory!
BEAR DOWN!
Nostradamus!
I was stationed at Bentwaters/Woodbridge in the 80's. I loaded the weapons on the A-10. Watching the background brings back memories.
Love this content guys. I like hearing about the policy and sound reasoning for NFLPA pushing for media getting out of the locker room.
BTW love this podcast i hope you keep this up. Cole is one of my favorite players on the bears.
Real kid from Chicago playing TE making all our dreams come true. Keep smiling keep the good vices going in London!!
He's from IL but not Chicago. Glad he's on our team either way
So funny how much bigger Cole’s legs are than Hoges
TEs legs are wild lol watched Gronk on Julian’s pod and the dudes legs fills up sweatpants like they’re dam yoga pants

I FULLY understand Cole's point, that's THEIR den! And they are like family where the modesty is more relaxed. When you got women and outsider men around you, you try to be respectful and covered up.
See you guys on Sunday taking my son to his first bears game
Thanks for the update Bear Down 🎉🎉

Got a little tense talking about the media player stuff. Media needs material, players want safe space. Rather then accommodating each other and meeting in the middle they'd be better off keeping each other's best interest in mind so everyone is happy
Best player podcast out
When will this episode be on Spotify?
Cole is just a football guy .He's ready for that 2 tuddies in a game and I got that feeling this is the game where Cole has 120 rec yards and 2tds
Nothing on Spotify this week?
On a scale of Bill Murray to Bill Murray how Bill Murray is Bill Murray? Is he funny or act like his play style last sunday?
I think reporters should also start changing with the players make the interview more intimate lol. Jk players should get their privacy especially since they can interview other places. Locker room is for the players. Everyone needs their area.
I hope Cole is a Bear his whole career hes already a Bear for life
Why isn’t this on Spotify?
Love you cole

What brand of pants is Cole wearing! They look comfortable
Probably from Kohl's...
Cole was open for a TD on the incomplete to Keenan Allen on the second scoring drive. We ended up getting a td anyway, but he settled right in the zone at the 1 with a safety behind him and he would have boxed him out easily like he always does and smacked him out of the way for a td.

I wonder if the wind had anything to do with the boom mics picking up so much talk
i was nonstop hearing the wind on the broadcast
Regarding media access to the locker room, the first thought that comes to mind is, does media have access to locker rooms in female professional sports? I don't know, but I would guess not. I'm pretty sure fans and the public would see that very differently.
I’m genuinely so curious how fans outside the US become fans of the Bears. I would love to hear how from anyone willing to share
idk why im so fixated on the upside down ipad
Simple solution to the locker room conflict: media should interview without pants... then everybody is on even ground
Go Bears!
Somebody already commented about this but Cole’s quads are just.. I mean they almost look like a fat guys legs lol. But he must have a super strong base damn. Go get em Cole bring that dub home bear down
Kmettment!
Chicago considered the "home" team. keeping the streak alive
No
There's some similarities between how they travel and how we use to travel in the Army
I'm sure if Kevin Warren had his way, the media would get 2 official press conferences and one team statement a week and no media access to the team. #controlthenarrative
Bear Down Bears !
They must bow down
According to one of the NFL films videos I watched on the evolution of NFL broadcast the center ref sitting around the middle LB has a mic in all games so I’m guessing Coleman came off that but either way it was definitely loud on that play lol
No. Parabolic Mike on sideline.
Hoge had a few Hoger Lagers!
Adam lookin faded after 2 Guinness

What's Kmets favorite play of the year so far!?
let’s talk about bull murryyyyyy
Jacksonville is AEWful
That's not Cole Kmet. Cole doesn't wear glasses.
It is when he’s not wearing contacts. BearDown
Kmet 1 rushing TD! Then gets a Chicago Style Blood Sausage
Wish Cole would read comments. I’m related to him, he just doesn’t know it. Seriously. Kmets from the Chicago burbs.
i don’t even understand why this is an argument, imagine someone you barely know was interviewing you as you were getting dressed for work lmao. everyone would hate that
Can we get keenan allen going!? We're all so starstruck over caleb williams that we need to take a step back and utilize our weapons. #ChicagoBears 🏈
I remember seeing Walter Payton for the first time in Platteville Wisconsin and I was amazed by the size of his thighs. Cole has huge thighs too!
A London team could work if they did something like 4 away 4 home 4 away 5 home
The no media in the locker room wouldn't apply to game day? Seems like a no brainer, why does the media even need to be in there during practice days?
That's what im saying, they have press conferences for Head Coach and QB during the week which are the main people you need to hear from anyway. As long as you have game day who cares. Also as someone who has worked in a professional locker room, I take the players side mostly. How the women looking out there Kmet?
Clearly Cole is setting himself up for a nice NFL analyst gig after he retires from 8 years as long snapper in 2038.
