Apologies? No need to apologize. Some things are more important than audio equipment. The equipment isn't going anywhere. Family is family.

Have you considered attending then quarantining yourself for 3-5 days after the show? Just a thought.

Well, that's assuming that length of incubation. Some take longer. At 70 years of age, I am vulnerable too so I just choose to pass on it all. I have heard way too many poor sounds at shows and know who will put up a good sound time after time.

Thanks for sharing Lou! I'm with you. I get it. In fact, I thought my cancer (one to my immune system) was successfully treated for the past 6 1/2 years. With a compromised immune system, the pandemic was quite a scare (along with a medical leave from work for 13 months). Retired now. Well, I just learned this past week that my cancer has relapsed and it's time to do it all over again. I can tell you one thing: my music will be one of those things that gives me joy and the strength to carry on another day! Whatever one might have that gives strength, support, and encouragement. Do it! My immune system will once again become compromised (virtually nil) and I will be avoiding people in public to the best of my ability. I minimally appreciate your perspective. Btw, I like your hat! LOL

I am sorry to hear that you have to go back to battle with an old adversary. It's something most people don't think about which makes their lack of sanitary behavior even more disconcerting. As it was I got Covid at Christmas and fortunately did not give it to Deb. I got it from either the restrooms on the Ohio or Pennsylvania turnpike while bringing her home from Cleveland for Christmas. Blessed with a very mild case which Paxlovid crushed.

@@audibleeleganceinc Thanks Lou, kindness is always appreciated. I have been lucky and fortunate to have avoided Covid and can only hope it stays that way. Keep your faith. And I need to acknowledge the strength I gain from wonderful family and friends! It’s those connections that make life worth living! (See, inter-connects are important - they deliver the source without distortion. Call it a hug…)

I respect you Lou. My wife also has heart issues. This year we attended Axpona and had a wonderful time. We spent all Saturday there, 8 hours. We had our fill. Sounds like you are very busy, take care.

Yep, she's in the coop at Cleveland again. This time it has been 10 days. After a number of days, the teams have decided on a plan but the procedure date is unknown. She will become pacemaker dependent and will have to wear a lifevest which is an external defibulator. It's been a rough nearly 4 years with no end in sight. The workup on a 2nd heart transplant has been suspended pending the results of this procedure.
