Picked this up a few days ago and im absolutely in love with it! The style and characters are awesome! And murders are morbidly funny and intriguing. Super fun, and id imagine even better playing couch co-op
Playing this with my buddie was a great two heads are better than one experience, observations that we can play off each other and laugh at the many, OH shit, AHA. Is the best success of this game.
Me and my friends are slowly making a train of people who have played the game watching those who haven't to see how they come to solutions or how their mind views shit differently, super fun experience this is probably one of the best stories I've experienced in a game
Great review. It's really amazing how consistent they kept the characters. I was playing this with my friend and suggested something and he said, "No he wouldn't do that, he likes that guy" about one of the characters. And he was right
I def prefer this game over the return of the obra dinn. Didn't really like the flow of that game given you have to go through so much and you are easily prone to missing a small detail that essentially might solve multiple issues in your logic

Good review but no mention of the art style/direction? It clearly has a unique one which drew my attention to it.
Great review. Like you say, the trailers have a hard time really showing what the game is about, and there really aren't many reviews out there.
This was already on my list but it's moving up a few places now!
The games overarching story is extremely satisfying once you figure out everyones motives about how they slide together.

If I recall correctly, Tangle Tower has a similar mad-libs detective element
