I've gotten a few recurring questions so have a small FAQ:
Q: What is a MAD?
A: MAD is short for Music Anime Douga (Video) in Japanese and is a pretty loose term. Anywhere from edited video clips (AMVs), edited picture videos like this one, or completely original videos. Usually related to anime, but not always. I use it interchangeably with PV (picture video).
Q: Audio download link?
A: No, sorry. It's literally just the original song spliced with mes' cover. It was done with minimal effort and I don't feel comfortable putting up a download without their permission.
[NEW] Q: Can I take the video and put translated lyrics on it?
A: No, there’s been enough reuploads without my permission as it is, be it for translations or just the sake of stealing it. HOWEVER, I’ve looked into community-contributed subtitles and have turned those on. If you want to translate this song, please do it that way.
Q: Can I use this video in my own?
A: Thinking this over again, I would prefer you use the mes' original PV by ajimita and Michikora OR Crusher-P's original PV. This was made on a whim as (kind of) a parody, without explicit permission, so I'd prefer to keep it here as something I did solely for fun.

Hello again, UA-cam!! It's been 2 years since my last upload and I'm sorry 'bout that! I'm out of my swing, but I whipped this paro together for the summer.

In fairness it's not a common word and is usually used as an adjective in a sentence.
Example: The young man grabbed a fire extinguisher and aimed the nozzle at the base of the fire as he sprayed; an apt strategy.

so the most intense parts of the song are when dipper is asleep because he's fighting bill in his sleep, and the arms represent his balance in the dreamscape and in the real world, and when bill takes over they dissipate because dippers gone.

I've been looking for this song from years ago for an hour. All I had to go on was a single lyric. I didn't even know the tune. I thought another lyric was part of it, so I found another song from the same time but accident. Then I remembered this existed, so I looked up "gravity falls map dipper" and found this. I cannot tell you how happy I am to have a song to the lyric that ended up not actually existing and instead being a manifestation of the music video.

I really think that the bridge (the part where it says "I am gonna burn my house down into an ugly black/I am gonna run away not and never look back") really suits Bill, with how he "saw his own dimension burn/misses home and can't return" and all that. Great job, smooth animation, good song!

Bill is an *immortal* dream demon so to him time has no meaning therefore he wouldn't keep track of how long he's been alive.
0:27 - 0:33 _"I can't get a grip but I can't let go. There wasn't anything to hold onto though"_
0:34 - 0:39 _"Why can't I see? Why can't I see? ALL the colours that you see?"_
In the dreamscape, there are no colours.
0:40 - 0:45 _"Please, Can I be? Please, Can I be? Colourful and Free!"_
I take colourful and free and see it as 3D and free because that is what Bill wanted to be. He wanted to be free from the nightmare realm with a 3dimensional body.
0:47 - 0:53 _"What the hell is going?! Can someone tell me please?! Why I'm switching faster than the channels on TV?!"_
When he is about to 'die', his body starts switching into different forms like it can't decide which one would be best.

This is a perfect example of how confused and scared he was when he was about to 'die'.

This line is more about Dipper when he is fighting Bill for his body back and for when he and his family are fighting Bill in weirdmagendon. In which Bill would be the 'Echo'.

In the scene where Ford and Dipper try to shoot Bill but miss. They were both hiding in the shadows in that scene.

Bill destroyed his home dimension and then left to the nightmare realm. He burnt his home down, He ran away, and He hasn't gone back; because he can't.

At first, they didn't know how to defeat Bill. There was the blaster but that failed so they were left not knowing how to defeat Bill. Of course, Bill isn't invincible but he does have eyes everywhere so he is pretty close to it.

I can definitely see this as Dipper if Bill got through his plan of throwing his body off the water tower (as in the third journal.) Being stuck in the mindscape forever, stuck with being unable to 'see all the colors that we see'. It would also certainly explain him wanting to be free from (in what my opinion is) hell.
