My laptop glitched and the video was playing properly. It made it even more awesome than it already is because the music played and pixels appeared in random places and the extra hands would disappear and it was amazing. The video is awesome by the way.
I've been looking for the version of Echo that had Mes’s added vocal segment for *ages* I knew it existed because I would think about this version constantly I almost sobbed when I came across this video because I had finally found it, that gorgeous audio I've been dying for I adore this version of the song, because I love the added audio, but I like the robot voice throughout the rest of the song because I feel it fits better with the theme of not feeling like other people? Ya know? God I just love this version, I'm so glad I found it again-
so the most intense parts of the song are when dipper is asleep because he's fighting bill in his sleep, and the arms represent his balance in the dreamscape and in the real world, and when bill takes over they dissipate because dippers gone.
I can definitely see this as Dipper if Bill got through his plan of throwing his body off the water tower (as in the third journal.) Being stuck in the mindscape forever, stuck with being unable to 'see all the colors that we see'. It would also certainly explain him wanting to be free from (in what my opinion is) hell.

I cannot tell you how happy I am to have a song to the lyric that ended up not actually existing and instead being a manifestation of the music video.
