I know the Virtuoso XT didn't fit great for you, but past that, how was the sound quality between the XT and and the H3Pro? Since these two headphones come in at almost the same price, and same features ( with the XT not having ANC ).
I know this comment is very old and you likely have made many purchasing decisions/forgot about this, but for anyone wondering: Virtuoso is not bad sound wise for sure, but almost every pair of headphones I have owned outclass it in every way. (Turtle Beach Stealth 450, Arctis 3 Bluetooth with Game Dac, PS5 Headset.) To be clear I had the Virtuoso XT RGB Wireless. And I just did not like it despite trying and even swapping the ear pads. 3prohybrids are amazing and I really like them and I have had time for that Novelty to wear off and still feel this way.
@@paragon722 I just received mine today and the sound is not impressing me in any way. My JBL Club One headphones sound far better than they do. I've got a pair of WC gel pads coming tomorrow but I still might just take it back and try something else.
if u want sound quality, epos all the way. if its mic quality ur after, only thing that really comes close to the XT's mic is an antlion modmic. any other wireless headset is going to have a bad mic in comparison
Thanks for the review. How loud can the sidetone be adjusted to? I currently use the Pro g wireless and the sidetone gets loud, helps me stop shouting when in party chat! Wonder if there's a h6pro wireless being released.
Thanks for watching! There's lots of adjustability from the Epos Gaming Suite and it gets pleeeeenty loud, at least for me. I'd be interested in seeing a wireless h6pro as well!
@9to5Toys, I have the green one, but it doesn't say anywhere in the literature that came with the box, if we can charge it directly from the mains via a usb plug adapter like how I charge phones & controllers. Have you tried charging it that way? Is it safe to do so?

They need to really start taking a page from the consumer headphones look and design headsets that aren't gamer oriented as far as aesthetics (read UGLY). Make a good looking headphone with the ability to attach a mic. B&O got this with their overpriced portal and now master & dynamic are doing it. There's an opportunity here.
I can’t seem to get the headphones to connect to the software suite unless i use the USB connection. So no equalizer or 7.1 for me. That’s a real shame in my mind. So much for wireless!

I was thinking hard if the ANC and wireless is woth the extra money but I ended up buying the H3 hybrid without the "pro" since bluetooth 5.0 works with PC flawlessly and the ANC is not much needed on closed back headphones. hmm..last time i use the quantum 800. everything great about it, except the battery life. after that i swap to corsair hs80. also good, except now i hate that the mic does not have any noise supression/isolation. It keeps picking up my sibling noisy voices at the back, which never happen with my JBL quantum 800. Should i swap to this epos ?

Can you confirm whether it can be used *wirelessly* on a PC, while also on a phone using bluetooth, at the same time, IE. music from phone and audio from game on PC mixed together in the headset. The website makes it sound like this, but someone on another video claims it only works simultaneously if it's used wired on the PC, not wireless and bluetooth. The website however seems to claim it can be used simultaneously wirelessly on PC and bluetooth on phone and mixing the audio streams, unless the phone is iOS.
@@jackgreen05 Says nothing about listening to both of them simultaneously. A lot of headsets allow both BT and wireless at the same time to take calls, etc, but not with simultaneous audio streams.
I bought the 370s and I really like them. The 100hr battery life is legit and once you wear them in, they are super comfortable and light weight. The sound is classic Sennheiser quality... In terms of the wireless connection, I have had zero complaints.... I can leave my desk and walk to the kitchen without any interferences or drop outs. I believe the dongle can handle 20m or so...The only draw back for me is how they look on your head.... they are pretty chunky and look like your waving down an incoming Jet plane. But, all in all id give them 9/10.
Thank you! Yes, I do. The Virtuoso was uncomfortable for me. The earcups are kind of shallow and my ears would rest against the driver covers. I know some love it, but I couldn't use it for very long.
@@5_i_v_e I am using virtuoso(older one) since 1 year. They are excellent headset. All you need to do is get a pair of replacement pads which can fit on Beyerdynamics DT990, 1990 headset which are plenty available. All the uncomfort will be gone.
has anyone ordered these this year? I bought them off amazon since they are $200 right now on sale and they work flawlessly. the only thing thats bugging me is the little dongle is connected to the usb extension cable out of the box and I cannot for the life of me remove it. I just want to use the little dongle by itself but it seems to be permanently connected to the extension cable. On all the reviews/unboxings of the headset that I see, they all come with the dongle separated from the extension cable.
Oh interesting - on mine its definitely separate but has had occasional connection issues. I wonder if they updated the design to fix that. Either way - great headset! I use it often.

Don't know if you ever got an answer on this as it has been 5 months, but as someone who uses it: It does require it to be powered on, though in testing it uses SO Little power this way as long as you dont have the bluetooth also on and the dongle disconnected from a PC. Granted the battery life on this thing is very strong and I image most would use it on to be connected to multiple things as once. Also, ANC works with wire since it is on which I believe is where this one benefits GREATLY. Mic Quality does change, but it is very slight. It improves just a touch.

Hey 9to5Toys, did you have problems with your mic picking up every outside sound and playing it back into your headset? Because I have been having that issue. The mic is playing back the air that the fan is blowing towards me, as well as my voice, as well as whenever I touch the end of the boom mic. I don't know if the wires in the internals are crossed or what, but it's making my h3pro hybrid unusable!
I had to return this headset because it just had a whole host of issues. Delayed audio activation when unpausing a song/video or alt tabing into a game, the software doesn't work when wireless (why even have the headset be wireless or have software), the audio in both wireless and bluetooth cuts out constantly, wired is the only way for consistent audio. Bluetooth has to be manually selected every time on your phone, will not autoconnect. The ANC only has a high pass filter, so the noises you want filtered out still go right through. Honestly for 279 dollars it's a disgrace.
I spent too much money on the EPOS H3 Hybrid cause having simultaneous Bluetooth was a must. There’s no way I’d spend this amount so I could go wireless. EPOS really needs to rethink their pricing overall.

Sent that trash back and got a Razer Kraken V3 Pro and they rock so I'm happy.

What is the difference between the H6 Pro and the H3 Pro?
H6Pro is wired and comes in closed or open back versions, while the H3Pro Hybrid is closed back wireless with ANC and Bluetooth.
H3 pro is wireless and has noise cancelling. H6 pro is wired only.
