I have a GIANT project that was easy 7 years ago. It was the Alhambra project, which I shared with my late husband. It involved scanning yearbooks, searching through newspapers for history about the high school, the school district, and the community. My husband and I did this together. Then he died, and my daughter got married. Then she and I had surgery, and there were 2 disasters, and I had 2 health issues before the dust settled. These baby steps you mentioned showed me how to work on this legacy to my wonderful David. Now I just have to list a few things to get restarted. And if I stumble, I'll just pick up the pieces and start again. It's a lot to do, but if I do nothing it will never happen.
I love this video. I helped my daughter pay off her credit card by placing 10% of whatever income came in. In 2 months she was debt free. Watching your video reminded me of why it got paid so fast because we used an easy way to measure and achieve her goal. I too am struggling to achieve my goals, especially of finishing to write a book. Your information was so clearlyand concisely presented. I am going to review my goals tonight and set them up implementing the information in this video. Thank you for all the content you share.
Amy, this year your content has been gold to me, you put practical examples to reinforce what you're saying and that makes a huge impact to actually understand and put into practice the knowledge acquired.
I feel as though I often lose sight of my goals. I’m going to do this little writing exercise as a reset to identify those small consistent habits I can start doing. My husband can be my Spanish accountability buddy lol. One day I will become fluent!! Love this, thank you!
I loved this video. I actually struggle with regularity after ive made a commitment. The goals start fading Just reviewing my yearly progress now and the whole tracking and being consistent....tough
I must be doing something right to be this early. I am looking forward to being consistent on my UA-cam channel and I will come back to this comment later and share my progress from following this advice.
I relate to you and your videos so much that I feel you are me in another life❤ absolutely love all your videos and I've been following you for longer than I remember ❤
The small thing I am going to do is take a 30 minute walk a day (my goal is fat loss). I freakin love your videos. SO glad I stumbled across your channel!
Goal 1, publish a video every two weeks or so, accountability is everyone who likes this post. Goal 2, is to knit a colorwork sweater with a round yoke, and short sleeves by the end of November. Small step is to do a show's worth of stitching each night, generally 30 minutes daily, and accountability will be folks in my life.
I want to get better at cardio; so I'm going to get a kettle bell and do a kettle bell swing ladder 3 - 5 days a week. I have enjoyed your channel off and on for a while. Right now, I'm working towards a degree so that my time can eventually be worth more money. Thank you for your knowledge and inspiration along the way.
This is your content buddy speaking: you never answer: when do you increase the amount of progress, i.e., from 1% to 5% or 1 video a week to 2 videos or a video and a short? Because at 1% it will take you soooo long to get 6 months income put away. 💖🌞🌵😷
What if you have a goal that is reliant on external outcomes like gaining 1,000 followers on TikTok? Like its so many variables that can influence that goal.
My recommendation is to tie controllable inputs to your goal as well. What are the things you’ll commit to doing no matter if you reach that external goal or not? This is important for those moments when you get one video uploaded and don’t see the results you hope for. You get discouraged so you might quit. But if you also committed to posting 100 videos before the end of the year, you can keep your focus on that-in turn, making you better at the craft no matter what happens with the externals.
I believe in all education. The most important thing is someone finds what’s right for them at the stage of life that they’re in. I challenge the idea of traditional education when not carefully considered and only embarked on because it’s what you’re “supposed to do”.

I like the question “then what is more important for you” because now I have to think about my priorities.

Design, convert, print, test,
modify, convert, print, test,

That's how I am progressing.

20 minutes a day will help us get better at our goals
I’ve been doing a lot of work on goals and breaking them down into actionable steps. So, this is perfect timing…and entertaining as usual.🎉
I relate to you and your videos so much that I feel you are me in another life❤ absolutely love all your videos and I've been following you for longer than I remember ❤
These are such great starting points. Excellent tips!
I like this subject and how to achieve it by planning properly

@@AmyTV Thank you for your advice :) it was helpful
I thought you didn’t really believe in college degrees?

Laundry 😂
I live in Ireland so I won't be attending the College of Phoenix.
Thank you 😊
