So the sticking thing is unpreventable !? I always thought there's something wrong with my resin. Thank you for making this video! Relieved and annoyed LOL
That is great for prevention, but what do you do if they are already stuck together? Is there a way to heat them or something along those lines to get them unstuck?
Could you do a video on the finish process? I just started experimenting with resin and I quickly realizing how little I know about having getting finish glossy product. Thanks!
I didn't realize resin can stick together. I stacked my coasters and now a lot of them are stuck to each other. Is there a trick to unstick them? HELP!
Hi! I’m new to using resin. What brand do you recommend best? I keep getting streaks across my coasters not sure why. Or where it sticks to the counters. Also how do you get those nice rich colors? Sorry I know I have many questions but your videos so far have been the most helpful!
I get streaks too! So annoying. I bought the same resin in the summer and no marks. It's super cold now and causing slot of streaks. Even with a heater. You have to make sure it's 75 to 95 degrees. That was with craft resin. I use Stonecoat tabletop and it works amazing! Longer curing time but not terribly more than others. Little to no bubbles if you heat it first snd use a hun or torch and it cures crystal clear! Make sure you mix correct proportions or else it'll not harden. Also, wanting to buy ksresin and naked to try out
Thank you for this great tip. But how does the customer keep them from sticking together?

Love to hear it!! 🤩

The top side of the coaster should be glossy on its own. Resin is naturally glossy and glass like. Are you having difficulty making it look glassy?
What sand paper do you use? Does it also take away the clear parts of the coasters?

I used a couple of pound shop coasters in the base to strengthen mine...
And the little felt pads you can buy really help!
How do you prevent glasses and tea cups from sticking to coasters?
I would like to know this as well.
The type of resin you use will determine that. Ksresin, stonecoat and naked are good with not leaving marks or scratches.
Doesn’t make sense…why would fully cured resin stick when stacking?
