Hey Munchie, the person that waited on you was me, Sam😂 I wish I had asked you and wasn't shy. I've been watching you way back in emo/scene days. Despite being shy and not able to see you on my next shifts, I'm glad I got to meet you! I've learned a lot from your channel on hamsters and glad to see the pup is doing better!^-^ Hope we see you back again soon!
I may be visiting again in the fall, I hear there is a festival in town from what family has said. So I may be back sooner than you know. :) It was a pleasure to have met you, but did not know it at the time, haha. But still I can't believe someone like you would know about little old me all the way in Arizona. That just blows my mind still. :)
You are an angel Munchie taking the time to stop and rescue her not just driving by, she was so lucky to find you! I love the name choice and I do hope she will be able to stay with you I can see how bonded you are already. ❤
I own hamsters myself and I always do the best I can to make sure they're healthy and happy within my care and I always give them the care they need and the proper food cage bedding wheel everything
So amazing you rescued that dog!! She is so cute and I can tell she trusts you 100%. 💖 Glad you got a chance to visit family. Hope things get better soon. ❣️
I'm trying to delay it, don't worry. I don't want to fix her till she's older. And I also need to get her breed checked out to understand her better, before going through surgery.
Driving on the way back through Phoenix, I hated it. Heat and the F****** traffic. That city is a sweltering place, idk how ppl choose to live there. Thankfully I was in a small, not so concrete town. Heat didn't feel too bad since Arizona isn't humid like WA.
Dont worry about thr. Children aspect...do ehat you need to do first, i admire how resposible and how amazing you are. I have a ton of debt and CC debt, but slowly but surely its getting done. Dont worry too much. You do alot of good for these animals!!!
Bless your heart! Thank God for people like you put there. There was a reason not only for pups and the fact you found/saved her sweet little life but I truly believe animals save us too and to hear you're going through a lot right now, idk, something just tells me it was no coincidence you found her IN THE DESERT. Just crazy but so thankful she is being cared for by someone who is going to love her and hopefully by the time you'd be ready to finish fostering her, you're in a better situation so you can keep her . 😉❤️❤️
Well I don't think we really should be taking on another animal, despite what I want. However our current animals are mostly seniors so, it's possible that if someone passes, we could keep her. But with the way I feed and tend to my animals, I am estimating Minty will live to 17, Zelda to 14 and cats are just a big bag of mystery. In the past, my family cats lived to be 15, 15 and 18. So I am hoping all my kitties can make it to 15 at least. Babs and Moxxi will be 13 this year and both don't show signs of slowing down.
@@MunchiesPlace I completely get it and yes they've been with you already for so long those are your babies that come first and foremost you never know why things happen but everything happens for a reason so even if it's just temporary it was not by accident that you randomly found a dog in the desert that needed you and maybe in turn you needed her maybe she'll bring you some sort of Joy or something because I truly believe everything happens for a reason and whether it be people places or things that are placed in our ways temporary or long-term, it is for a reason that we may or may not understand in the moment so when the time comes she is placed in a home that they care for her and bless your heart for caring for her now ❤️❤️
Good on you for stopping and helping! I actually think she may be more like 5/6 months and a smaller breed - possibly something like an AM Staff crossed with a Jack Russell or a heeler or something. I hope you do a DNA test for her! There’s a few Reddit pages like IDMyDog who love guessing breeds too.
I hope before adopting her out (Tho I'll be sad about it), I plan on doing a DNA video reveal. I've done a few for my dogs here on the channel if you may be interested! Minty: ua-cam.com/video/1-VYF5NMgQ0/v-deo.html Luna: ua-cam.com/video/VaHJxJwemno/v-deo.html
Ty 🥰 I got back into the Pokemon TCG last year and was obsessed with the new plushies they were coming out with. I had to stop tho due to money. I know when to quit, I swear. 😅
Thank you for rescuing her! ❤According to Holistic Vets, spaying and neutering dogs before the age of 1 does come with risks. For a well-kept dog, it makes sense to sterilize them once physically mature. There are few vets that can also perform vasectomies in male dogs, which may be better for their well-being in comparison to traditional neutering practices.
I got my dog from craigslist! Do take into note tho, they may come with a few surprises since they were cared by a person who can't take care if them themselves or simply dont want them. Im just saying this since mine was on a farm and had fleas. Anyways, hope everyone had a great day 😊
Hi munchie! Love your channel. Thanks for all your helpful information and advice. I rescued 2 male gerbils from the pet store a few months back and ive made no progress with taming them. Im actuakly afraid to put my hand in their tank honestly because they love to bite me so much. They lunge for my hand everytime and have broken the skin a few times. This makes cleaning out their 40 gallon breeder tank impossible. Could you give me any advive in how i can get these guys more used to me? They are so terrified of me and its really upsetting. I know being prey animals, they are going to bite out of fear, but its an everyday battle with them:(
Gerbils aren't supposed to be that aggressive, were they like this when you first got them? My gerbil foster home uses a playpen and the mason jar method for transporting into a neutral area which is a playpen. I'd advise looking into creating a bonding experience by getting them out of their enclosure and into a pen that you can sit inside of for interactions. We've had only a handful of aggro gerbils but only one time did we ever help one that was aggressive and lunged for the hand.
8:31 I feel like it’s very important to know the ONLY appropriate way to remove a tick is with tweezers close to the skin and pull it directly out, do not twist unless you have a tool that specifically says to twist. The CDC website gives instructions. Whatever you did was not the right method.
They most likely got the puppy for a kids present or Christmas present and she started getting too big and they just didn’t want anymore. Or they just couldn’t afford anymore.
I feel like it could have been someone's dog getting pregnant and not knowing what to do with the litter. But that's also another way to look at it, tho if that was the case I can imagine they'd only keep it outside and it somehow escaped. But I feel based on location that it was most likely dumped due to the long drive to the nearest town. Arizona and Utah have so many spots where there's nothing for _ _ many miles.

I lived in Phoenix for two years. The heat was brutal. Thank you for going out of your way to help this pup!

Yayyy a new vid
Instead of the cat distribution system you got the dog distribution system.
I'm welcoming this nice change of pace. Cause I ain't about to add another litterbox inside the house. Haha.

And that's what we did. We followed the directions of how to remove a tick with tweezers.

'It's too small to be anything else'
Says the owner of a chihuahua...
She was a tiny bit over the size of Minty except for the weight. Now she topples over Minty with those legs of hers.
I thought your name was Jessica
It is. But my online name since the Myspace days has been Munchie.
@@MunchiesPlaceI didn’t see it I never use on MySpace
How sad, clearly some evil person dumped the puppy hoping she would die fast in the desert.
