- A collection of clips of Newcastle, Tynemouth and especially St James Park. Home of Newcastle United. This video was made using recycled clips of the film Goal. Games shown include Chelseas defeat to Newcastle in the FA Cup and Chelseas Premiership match at St James cunningly edited together, and Liverpools 1-0 defeat to Newcastle with Lauren Roberts tremendous free-kick.
Im from london and i recently visited newcastle (rolled in at central station) and was BLOWN AWAY by the hospitality, the people, the sights the sounds the place is just AMAZING

I wanna go back! I used to live there for 7months, and I had a chance to work at the newcastle united warehouse, work with them, collect the orders, deliver to the shops...I dont really like football, but it was amazing! I really like them! This is the best city ever, and I will go back in september, you guys are lucky that thi is your hometown!
As a Geordie living in Mexico I'd just like to say ta so much.
I miss the place a lot and this video was great, really highlights the beauty of the Toon.

Peter...It's a fantastic city, and the Geordies are wonderful people! This July will be my 3rd visit to NCL, and I still haven't seen everything! TONS TO SEE, EAT, AND DO! The Newcastle Burbs, in any direction, are very beautiful (i.e. Jesmond, Whitley Bay, Tynemouth, Alnwick, Whickham). Enjoy the discoveries here!

Some of the editing has been lost due to the track and picture going out a bit when it was uploaded but will hopefully overcome this for any further vids. Really glad you liked it though...

As many people have mentioned... The clips all come from the film "GOAL" which was filmed in Newcastle. Kind of a cheat I know but looks great, so what the hell. I'll have more clips once I edit "Get Carter" and "Purely Belter"... LOL

Grainger!....Beautiful work!...This is a kick ass video! Replace the "House" music soundtract with Pete Townshend's studio version of "Give Blood", off of his White City CD! IT SOUNDS & LOOKS AWESOME! I can only imagine how this would look and sound on a Blue Ray system!
I know there are two big problems with doing this;
1. Pete Townshend is not a Geordie.
2. Copyright infringment laws!
Just a suggestion, to add a more heroic edge, to a great video!
