Thanks Will for the good and technical weather explanation and the route to the finish line. Boris do a great job. I follow him as a virtual offshore sailor in the App. Your forecast helps me too to find a good course to the gate which cross the acores. I’m close to Boris (150nm behind him) 😅Push push Boris.

Just a note, because it really bothers the easily fixated autistic nugget in me; a jibe is an unpleasant comment, a gybe is a change of tack going downwind.

Great update Will. Boris' currently 7th. Options and challenges for the next 5 days. As most of the graphic was red, use a different color pen for easier visibility. Position, boat gremlins, abikity to sleep and eat, speed, wind speed, sea fare, front patterns will dictate tactics. Good to know that the gates have shifted south to minmize worsening weather conditions and creating safer sailing options.

Not allowed for shore team or any off boat person to do routing.
@@theroadhome_Liz_Summers Routing is allowed, just communication is not allowed ;-)
So Will can't do the routing for boris but he does it for us.

Hmm 🤔, if I look at the tracking data, it looks way different than that what you are talking about.
