Today I learned why the whale boss is harder than the snake boss. It's always been said but now has been explained! Keep up the great commentary Ceph! 🤓
I saw this comment before I watched the video and you had me *stressing* the whole time thinking he was gonna die at some point 😂😂😂 but certainly wise words
Down the line when you're looking for ideas, you should try playing co-op D5 by yourself! Maybe even a random random random random. I've been having *a lot* of fun doing it. A lot of times I'll pick one to sit stationary, and the other one to control. It's not too challenging but it introduces double the decision making and allows for fun synergies!
That actually sounds super fun! I play on console, and have tried playing 2 player co-op by myself from time to time! I hold one controller in each hand in my lap, and basically try to move both characters at once. It’s interesting how effective you can be at maximizing materials earned in the early rounds! I feel like it’d be very possible to play a full run if one practiced it enough 😎
@nephteray303 for sure!! I play on Xbox, for most of the runs I've won I actually set one controller beside me and move that character to either the middle or the corner and do a stand still kill and with the other one I'd protect and explore. It's nice to have one character I can tank speed on lol. Then with aggressive bosses I'll usually try to bait their attention on my active character at the beginning and hide the passive character on the opposite side 😂 Effectively controlling movement on both at the same time would take a lot more skill and practice than I currently have though 😂
When I was new to the game one of my biggest issues was getting multiple fishhooks. Every time I get one I would always try to curse the second one, to the point that I would skip duplicating it with a mirror since I would not be able to reach that 100% curse chance. However I changed my perspective watching your videos since not every run has to be an endless run.
Heh. Cursed Coffee. The other day I woke up and started my morning routine including feeding the cats, preparing breakfast and making coffee… only to be disappointed twenty minutes later discovering that the coffee maker was broken. It’s now replaced and peace has returned to the universe
It's not the most powerful brawler build but elemental brawler is the one I have the most fun with. Especially with a few gentle aliens and snakes so I am lighting most the screen on fire with just fists.
I feel like you undervalued ranged here. Having lots of positive range isn't really needed, but being able to keep enemies further away from you is super important. Acts as a defensive and offensive because you are attacking more often and killing things further away.
At 26:13 - totally agree that the cursed pocket factory isn't as cool as many other curse upgrades. If a weapon changes its scaling from 75% melee to 135% melee then I think it's fair for the curse levels on the pocket factory could result in level 2, 3, 4 (that would be total insanity) turrets
One thing I really like to do if I have fish hook is aggressively try to lock weapons over just regular items. I feel cursed weapons provide so much more value and often a lvl 1 cursed weapon is better than a lvl 4 non-cursed. What's your take on this? Do you think it might be worth to pass on upgrading regular weapons and just wait for them to get cursed, keeping them locked for multiple waves?
Surprised you didn't try and get the claw cursed before waves 11 abd 15, cursed weapons are so strong! Though going into the elite at 15, I reckon you may've wanted to get as strong as possible before the elite? Other than that, grats on the win streak thus far, and appreciate your consise-yet-thorough explanations, that is truly an underrated art form.
Tried doing this run and rolled two claws in the first two waves. Not really sure what to do with that. (instead of the mafia run request I'll leave some fun pirate themed ideas for the abyss: the gangster + sailor pirate, and the captain + jack pirate. Enjoy! Day 23)
I always considered Brawler one of the easiest classes on Crash Zone but I think he’s decidedly mid table or even kind of hard in the Abyss due to the increased damage and tougher attack patterns of the elites. I can’t think of another class that changes so much from one map to the other.

Remind yourself that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.

Thanks so much for the amazing support again! Ever since you mentioned doing that, I've wanted to try it - it sounds like a hilarious time
it's great. I think I'm actually going to record some runs on my vacation! Great video as always.

I like brawler. Its my favorite base class.
A little over 1.5% chance :)

Bent out of shape, is that an unintentional Nail pun?

Why does the claw not synergies with the 50% attack speed bonus?
Day 35 of asking for the "Brick only" challenge 😜✌️💜
What do you think about making Brotato online multi player? (I want it to happen) 😜
I wish flaming fist was good, but it's not. They are just worse versions of fists but I want to cool flaming brass knuckles!
1 out of 60 chance that 4 36% chance things happen.
1 in 6 chance that 4 64% chance things happen (4 no curses)
