Fun fact: Mort the chicken is from a really old and obscure ps1 game called Mort the Chicken. There are countless references to his game in Fun Farm, such as enemies screaming sometimes when killed and the well that Mort comes out is the well you put chicks in in the game.

So, fun fact about Mort the Chicken; He's the title character of a PlayStation 1 game made by AndNow that released in November of 2000. The developers of "Pizza Tower" (Tour De Pizza) asked the original creator of the character (Ed Annunziata) for permission to use the character, and he gave them the go-ahead.

After killing 10 enemies, you'll see electricity looking particles spark around you. Jumping in the air and taunting will cause a super taunt, killing all enemies on screen, but depletes the charge. I hope this helps, as I see Mike thought it was a "super parry" or somethin. 🙂

just a tip: if you want to go fast quickly, use the grab dash and press down, then stop holding down into a run which will give you lots of running speed

Btw, the FLOOR 2 Boss (vigilante) isnt actually dough, it's actually cheese i think, oh and btw the super taunt can be useable on multiple enemies at the same time, what helps alot when you're surronded

The John Blocks (The grey blocks with faces) that are in the Hub world is something that will come into play later. Just keep playing the game casually and all will be good
I believe that the story is that the guy we’re playing as (Peppino Spaghetti) was threatened by the floating pizza in the intro who goes by “Pizzaface” that he will blow up his pizzeria. So he need to make his way up the pizza tower to stop the floating pizza (since that’s where PizzaFace is). During his journey he teams up with Gustavo (the guy that points us the right direction during pizza time and I believe he also gets chased by a rat) It said in the wiki that Gustavo is an adventurer and decides to team up with him but personally I think he’s one of Peppino Spaghetti’s employees and probably the only one Peppino Spaghetti has considering how he’s struggling financially. Who knows! I’m still trying to figure out the game’s lore myself. But as a person who’s favorite food is pizza, I love this game.

@Hizelly Ah, alright, in the fandom wiki, they say Gustavo is an adventurer and that just decided to accompany him, and I don't think they said anything about Mr. Stick in the wiki. So, pretty much their background is unknown as far as I know.
Gustavo is the Guy who leads you to the exit along with Mr stick who sells you boss rooms (And becomes a playable character along with the rat he was fighting with called brick)
Hey mike heres a trick the game NEVER tells you about.
If you do a super jump then perss the dash/attack button you're do a shoulder charge which will fling you forward and instantly give you mach speed. Super helpful for getting that P rank.
p.s there are secert rooms in the tower when your roaming around picking a level.
heres a tip, dont try grabbing enemies unless its absolutely necessary, try to opt in for speed instead, you can change directions near a cliff to retain your speed, like the tutorial, killing enemies while running is more optimal
You can taunt at the end of the level while standing at the door during pizza time for extra points if you ever need some.
"How does he hit you when you're a ghost?"
Sir...he is a ghost. Honestly he should only be able to hit you when you are a ghost.
Fun fact: taunting to enemies like the chicken wing throwers or box goblins will cause them to attack immediatly which can be helpful for p ranks
Also if you have a super taunt ready there are white lines around peppino you can see them fly off when you use the super taunt
Fun fact: this also works for the mouths (and possibly the other guards in don't make a sound)
if you go through the tutorial again, go through it as fast as you can it will automatically unlock all the lap 2 portals
For those blocks in the overworld that you keep trying to unlock - those are for _much,_ much later in the game.
Also, if you want to practice going fast, you can attempt a second lap on stages without going for P- or S-ranks. The Lap 2 portal unlocks after you clear a stage for the first time, and I’d say it’s more important to learn the movement before going for all the secrets anyways.

To get a green costume you need to have the maximum amount of money you can get upon getting to Vigilante
Tips:
1. To keep your combo you need to collect toppings/points or kill more enemies, the ghost that appears in the bar shows how much time left you have before the combo runs out
2. Finding secrets is not that hard! There are eyes painted in the walls/floors/roof, this means there is a secret portal in that block so go with mach speed and destroy it
3. Usually there are 2 secretes before you destroy pillar John and one after you destroy him
4. Enemies get scared while you are in mach speed, meaning you wont take damage from them, so you are basically invincible as long as you are fast enough
5. Have fun!
Pretty sure the song for Fastfood Saloon is literally a Jet Set Radio sample, so the inspiration from that series is definitely here. The same track also has the same accordion instrument used in the Sonic Advance games

You can get Outfits if you stop at a "Funny" Combo and an "Unfunny" Combo. Basically end a level with a Combo of 70 - 79 to get the Outfits.
Tip:
Taunting in front of enemies speeds them up, it makes them attack instantly, which may be hellful in some scenarios
I am pretty knowledged about Pizza Tower, EVEN THOUGH I HAVE NEVER PLAYED IT- but here, tips and facts about the game.
(tips) 1: Sometimes, continuously trying to grab a corner in-between a wall and the roof can avoid some boss attacks entirely.
2: You can also get a P rank on bosses, and its a lot easier than the normal way. You just have to take NO damage at all.
(facts) 1: As for where you are in the game currently, the next boss will be The Noise, a goofy little gremlin that taunts Peppino at the time he is vulnerable, being after attacking.
2: The character "Gustavo" one of the pizzas is referring to is the Mario looking dude that is fighting with the rat, thought they eventually stop fighting and even becoming playable characters in some levels! (the rats name is Brick btw)
Peppino's HUD (the television when entering a level) will change by the amount of damage he's taken, usually in multiples of ten. It will also say "You've hurt Peppino (amount of times) times..." when doing so. The easy way to demonstrate this is by going into Pig City's level and running into the top-right gap of the home where you spawn, to build up speed in a loop, and get to a hidden, immobile enemy. Once you do so, you can run into the enemy multiple times to get one of the HUD screens. You can even do it up to 100 if you'd like.

tip:the boss round's ranks are actually based on damage you can also do a sugarcoat [C] if you were going to get hurt but time it perfectly it also cant hurt the boss like the small enemies you can destroy in one punch
damaged 10 times: the D rank
damaged 8 times: the C rank
damaged 6 times: the B rank
damaged 4 times: the A rank
damaged 2 times: the S rank
damaged 0 times: the P rank
you can also keep up with your combo by getting points it makes your combo go back full
gustavo is your brother or cousin that helps you on levels and tells you which direction you need to go on escaping

Like the others said play at your own pace if you wanna keep your speed better going down make sure you always do dives and jumps to keep your speed alot better always do super jumps when you need to I suggest always looking infront of you instead of the character so you can see whats about to happen
Did you know that Peppino can run through enemies and won't get hurt? You don't have to grab a lot of enemies as when you are in Mach 2, you can hurt them by blasting through them. Grabbing enemies can also make you lose speed which you would have to build back up again. Getting a combo of ten can also help you get *super-taunt* and can destroy all enemies on screen and boost your combo depending on how much enemies you have killed that were on screen.

I like how pizza tower was made for 2 types of platformers: the player who wants to beat the game as quick as they can, and the player that wants to go slowly throughout the levels finding everything.
Also: the characters pointing the way out are: Gustavo (peppino's chef friend), and Mr.Stick (the man you gotta pay). The Rat that Gustavo is fighting is called Brick. And if you didn't know Peppino's full name is: peppino spaghetti
1: I wouldn’t focus too much on parrying, because the mechanic is more for bosses
2: there isn’t really any lore, however each area represents the boss in that area very well.

Heya bijou mike, I just wanted to tell you that I heavenly recommend you to get all the secret toppings things (you can see if you got them at the entrance of the levels in the pillar) before you get to the end to see a heartwarming scene (you get them in the doors that are only for the small pink pillar with keys there is always one in all levels)
21:39 im starting to believe the vigilante is a 4° wall breaker because on his unused taunts he looks anoyingly at the player for making him taunt, at this moment he stares at the player for you refusing to pick up the gun and at floor 5 if you find him (not in noisette café) he Will also stare at the player basically telling that he doesn't want to do any interactions with us
