    I'm blown away by this build. I have a Velka 5 and was on the struggle bus in picking hardware that fit. Running a 3060ti and my low profile noctua can barely keep up with my Ryzen 7 5700x. Absolutely insane putting in even more graphics horsepower and running a custom loop on top of it all.

    the tolerances here are amazing! it's as if you had some of the parts here custom made, especially that motherboard tray that had a cut-out for the GPU block fitting. I'm interested to see what optimizations you made here as both the CPU and GPU are sharing what seems to be a 90mm or 120mm radiator. I haven't yet have all the parts I need to start working on my SGPC K55 case, as I'm also using an RTX3070 mini (Zotac), and 13600k.

    • @matejvrabel

      I reccomend watercooling the k55. With some mods you can fit a 240mm rad on top of it and it makes a big difference in temps compared to the air coolers under the 57mm limit. I'll hapily guide you through the process if you want to. Also you can fit a 120mm rad with a slim fan next to the GPU, provided you have an itx card.

    • @MoltenPie
      @MoltenPie 4 місяці тому +1

      @@joshduffety-wong9618 you get the wrong feeling. for your question, two 8pins will provide more than enough power for your 4070ti. 600w of the psu is totally fine for a 250w card that you would want to undervolt for an itx build anyway. and cpus in itx builds are typically 65-95w. 12vhpwr is a larger concern in itself. this connector is known to have a very low safety factor compared to regular 8pins.

    What is the length of the gpu waterblock? Which gpu model is it?

      @RelaxingSFF  Рік тому +1

      169,5mm. GPU is basically founder edition 3070.

    that poor single cooling fan though.

    This is superb. It’s a build where watercooling actually makes sense, doing this without watercooling would be impossible. Just a curiosity, does the radiator fan take enough air? Access to air seems partially blocked by the psu, does it create turbulence?

      Thank you. I don't know but I am happy with both temp and noise. No turbulence, space between fan and psu is more than 1cm.

      No, unless using 4mm spacing for side panel.

    did u use one 8pin cable for 3070? is it safe?

    • @RelaxingSFF
      @RelaxingSFF  Рік тому +2

      That is 16pin. Even 8pin is also more than safe because original 3070 founder edition uses only 8 to 16pin adapter.

    Amazing build! Too bad that with the latest gen CPUs and GPUs this build is impossible. A single slim block for both is not enough
