- Here's the first part of our trip out to Savery Creek in Wyoming.
We caught fish on hoppers, droppers and streamers. Not a bad way to get an early start on hopper season

This was the best video I've seen all day. Loving the cheeky humor. 👊
It’s funny to me that you guys fish and film where someone manicures the lawn behind you. Serious tech angling boys.
love the end...
We need more of this kind of quality entertainment. Ending the day with a PB&J perfect.
I wanna fish with those two!! I bet they are chill as fuck
Just be aware that there won't be enough jelly for three people...
i woul die to fish there once in my live
Really enjoyed this. Thanks guys
Great video, glad you're doing more of these. Love the humor, looking forward to the next one!
Best video you guys have made by far!
This river looks awesome! Great video guys!
You guys are a meme come true! Love Yall!
God I wish we had water like that here in western Montana right now. All our rivers are blown out and flooding everywhere. Even the fishing access sites are closed. I am getting itchy and nowhere to go, guess I will sit down and tie some more flies, looks like hoppers on the menu. Great video guys!!
I start using a black cricket or beetle pattern in the first of April here on the Logan River . Not a terrestrial to be had this time of year , but there will always be a fishes first might as well be mine :)
Officially adopting the power play. Haha I love it!
Smiled through this whole video. Lol'd when Cheech yelled at the chunky rainbow. Curtis, I'm wondering why you opted for the 10 ft rod for this application?
Thanks! You guys rule!
Cheech here... I'll chime in, but Curtis may want to chime in as well... He chose the 10 foot rod because the grip was shaped just like a Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage. In all reality, the extra reach you get on small water can make it really easy to overcome micro cross currents that cause drag etc.
Haha they do make one hell of a sausage.
That's brilliant! I think I'll take my nymphing rod out when I fish the Fremont in a couple weeks.
Thanks cheech!
Great video!
Haha power play! I’m going to start using that one
Sweet video!
Doesn’t get much better than that
Rock Springs, WY. Im sure that there are wonderful people that live there, but the one time I had to stop there i wanted to get out as soon as we stopped. Was not into that spot. Something sketchy about it.
to much fun
I think friggin Curtis out fished Cheech
Nice!
So that 10’ 4wt was pretty versatile?
Nice video guys! Thanks for sharing! What camera are you using?
We use several cameras but the main one is a Sony A6500
Fly Fish Food cool thanks!
Awesome video! I’m gonna have to try that power play move with my buddies and see what they say! Lol
Question on the rod length, can you use or have you used an 8ft 4wt for small creek fishing like this? What’s the benefit of a 10ft rod?
Tundra over a raptor any day.
What is your nymphing rod setup
This one is an Orvis H3 4 wt 10' rod.
Thanks
Which FishPond net are you using?
It's the Nomad Boat net
People please.
Couldn't you treat the fish with a little more respect and care?
We fly fishermen around the world should lead by example.
Finally, we use rubberized landing nets so as not to injure the mucous membrane of the fish or use barbless hooks to injure the fish as little as possible. But then you treat the fish like this and let them fall into the water or scare the fish that you just put into the water with loud calls and stomping into the water. I just don't think that's cool and doesn't do justice to the hobby or the fish.
You can do better!
Of course only love for you and please don't take this as an attack but as a kindly meant hint from a young, passionate fly fisherman from Germany
I thought that was his favorite Walmart because they have the extra greasy fried chicken there.
You're Abe Frohman? The sausage king of Chicago?
Not the hair dude. Its the Shirt!!
