Imma be honest. This was a more enjoyable listen in comparison to last week's episode. Congratulations on your 19th podcast appearance Tyler Cowen. 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
It was a deep, meaningful conversation, but it could not cover the depth of Grossman's work, especially the Jewish line. I recently published the books "Jewish Journey of Vasily Grossman" and" Reading Vasily Grossman in the 21st Century" by Izak Dimenstein on KDP.
Tyler makes a great point about most people becoming less fanatic over time (at least before getting old and maybe cranky, caveat duly noted). Seeing lazy or angry people abandoning reasoned debate is quite sad, I think. Same for the cowards who become Putin propagandists instead of confronting their fears.
