Good video. Was up in the air on what mount to buy for my street glide. I bought one for law abiding biker and it was terrible. Phone never stayed where it was supposed to. Not a fan of ball mount systems like Ciro or Ram. This mount looks pretty well made.
I love this mount system. I will say after some time with it the magnet in the cell phone case can get annoying at times when I have on sweat pants doing laundry and it pulls my phone in my pocket to the washer/dryer but honestly its not big enough of a deal to make me want to change. It really locks your phone in securely once attached to the mount. I never even had the phone so much as shift on me going down the road. It stays right where I want it.
Great structure and easy to install. Biggest drawback is lining the holes up when remounting the cell back on the mount. The magnet is great but also interferes with trying to line the slots up so you can twist and lock in place. Their are NO install instructions!be careful because you 2 sets of screws metric and standard.
I will agree with the magnet interfering with trying to mount it but the more you get use to mounting it the less it interference it has because you figure out what angle and all is needed to mount it. Sometime the magnet attracts to things I don't want it to when the phone is in my pocket as well which can get annoying at times.
I heard that the vibrations coming from a harley can mess up later iPhone model cameras. Quad lock has that vibration dampener attachment, are the spacers and washers supposed to mimic that dampening effect?
Yes it can and funny you should ask that because I have been considering switching it for that purpose. Initially I placed it on the left so my drink holder could go on the right but after I have ridden like that for some time now I think I'm going to switch them because I can still reach across to the left side with my right hand to get my drink.
Jus installed mine in my 21Streetglide glad I watched your video, since RokForm has no real instructions, great job!
Thanks Im glad the video helped.
Good video but you were killing me not having your tank covered!!! I suggest you add the vibration damper.

@@BanditMotoVlogs thanks for the reply. Appreciate it and it helped make my decision
Anyone know what size the mounting screws are
I’d be an immediate buyer if there was a holster option. Currently an Otterbox Defender user.

No I don't think they work the same as the vibration dampener. I have not noticed any issues with my iPhone 12 though.
can it be mounted on throttle side? (usb side capability, short cord run)
