For those who don’t already know of Expression Fiber Arts she’s live on Facebook on Tuesday’s at noon. Unless she is traveling. She puts out a free pattern mostly every Friday. It’s for a short time and then they are only $5.00. Chandi’s yarn has made me a yarn snob. I just love it so much!!
Expression fiber arts is the first premium yarn I purchased. She really is a master dyer but I only buy her yarn when I have the extra Pennies to spare. The yarn is very expensive and to make her amazing shawls they usually require 2 or more hanks. She does a free pattern every Friday so it’s worth it to follow her:) she’s really nice and responsive too!
I absolutely love Chandi from #ExpressionFiberArts. I have ordered her yarns and have never been disappointed! Every Friday she comes out with new patterns and also has discounts on the yarn for members. I live in the Bronx NY and delivery didn't take long at all. Drool! Anything with silk in it ... silk takes the colour well and keeps it vibrant ... silk makes the item not only strong but incredibly "drapey". The wool makes it cozy and warm. What a great yarn that would be.
I love Expression Fiber Arts, she makes very nice shawls. Never tried her yarn though it's not for my budget, but her yarn has the perfect drape from what I see in her videos. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I love Chandi and Expression Fiber Arts. I always wait till she has 15% or more off(most times on Fridays when she releases new patterns). All of her yarns are natural fibers which I love, beautiful and well worth the price. I'm glad to see you do a video about the yarns she dyes.
You and Chandi are my favorite crochet channels here. I have learned a lot from both of you. I made your polychromatic blanket and it is my favorite of all the afghans I've ever made. I did the Colina shawl with Expression Fiber Arts Dewy DK yarn and it is gorgeous! The yarn is very soft and squishy! Love that squish. You can't go wrong with her yarn but I did have to save up to buy it. Very worth it.

Hi Crystal, I love her yarns they are so beautiful. I watch her UA-cam channel I have learned some new techniques. When she puts out a video the pattern for that garment is free for a limited time. Her videos show you how to either do a section of her garment, all the sections, or some technique you need for the garment. She has a great sense of humor and is so sweet. She also has yarn giveaways.
You Crystal, are amazing! Chandi is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever known. She responds to every post on her videos. And she offers a free pattern every Friday. I just ordered from her myself today. Thanks for highlighting her yarns. They are gorgeous. She and her husband are a great team and her customer service is top notch! Hi Thea! I LOVE Chandi and her sweetness and positivity! I just got her 50/50 baby alpaca/mulberry silk yarns in fingering wt...a generous 604 yds each.....I actually CRIED TEARS OF JOY from the overwhelm of the luxurious softness! It is amazing yarn!
Hi Sherry! That’s wonderful! It sounds so luxurious! I have her alpaca/mulberry silk in the dk weight. I was making a wrap for my mom before she passed away. I wasn’t able to finish it in time but she did get to see it in progress. This past Friday I preordered the worsted weight Merino wool/ silk blend in colorway January Garnet. It’s a stunning red! I can’t wait to get it! Should be available around the 24th of this month. Definitely worth the weight! 🤗🤗
@@theastewart6721, I saw that yarn you speak of! I can't believe how her yarn that I purchased made me cry! That has never happened to me before! If I had had Chandi's phone #, I would have called her to WOW! to her, even if it was 3:30 a.m.! :D I was so overwhelmed by the experience of that dreamy yarn! I wanted to get her special last week that included some darling wooden, painted buttons, but I was out of $$, and by the time I got back to the cart, it was sold out. :'( I mainly wanted those darling buttons. I'm such a weirdo! :D But you KNOW I'd have loved that yarn, too! I lust way too much over yarns. But God knows I do put them all to good use. And when you are making blankets and not-little shawls, you have to have quantities on hand, for you know how awful it is to run out of yarn in the middle of a project! Or even worse: for the yarn to be discontinued, or limited edition and totally unavailable for the purchase of more! I bought 4 of the 604 yard skeins. That is only a little over 2400 yards for a nice big cozy wrap! I have chosen the Moon Butterfly shawl pattern for it; but I am not so sure I like that beautiful butterfly pattern in a varigated yarn. But butterflies HAVE to be in my silk/baby alpaca yarn, right?! Right now, I have just finished my 207 hour project of Helen Shrimpton's Mandala Madness, to immediately begin working on Chandi's shawl pattern called Noel in Paintbox Simply DK green and white to make the swirl pattern look like a peppermint swirl. I am thinking of doing another of her Noel in one of her yarns too. So, I wanted to practice on the pattern in a less expensive yarn to learn the pattern better. Expression Fiber Arts has some of the most gorgeous yarns out there. I treat myself every so often to a few hanks of her yarn. They have an amazing team of dyers and pattern designers.

I think the pearlescent and the Oasis are my favorite bases....

I absolutely love Chandi's yarn and patterns I've made 2 of her patterns and used her yarn they were easy to follow and worked up beautifully. The tank top I crocheted fits perfectly and is so wonderfully soft and the shawl I made has amazing drape and soooooo soft and perfect for wrapping up in when there is a breeze

Beautiful yarn! She has great colors and exceptional coverage of the yarn. Her bases are well above the usual in my opinion. I can't pick a favorite, every time I say one, another pops into my head as a new favorite.

Her yarn isn't cheap, but i want to try her mystery oops yarn. And she has at least 2 premium patterns free each week, 1 knit, 1 crochet.

Chandi of Expression Fiber Arts is a very positive person. Absolutely beautiful yarns. I think she does "collections" of yarn in smaller batches. She knits and crochets which is wonderful! The yarn is on the high end side but for a special project not so bad. I don't have much experience with hand dyed yarns but the prices seem to be the same as most other hand dyed.
