Here is an update on my mood blanket and a different (much better!!) template to arrange the flowers 🌸 ua-cam.com/video/3SfkF6T1yVg/v-deo.html 🌟
I am 9 weeks pregnant and have decided I want to make a mood blanket throughout my pregnancy as a little project - I have never crocheted before in my life but I am in love with your blanket and my toxic trait is deciding to attempt this as my first ever crochet project 😂 wish me luck!
Starting off big, young padawan. I like it. Happy crocheting!
Wow 😮 That would make a beautiful cardigan ❤
Thank you! So much easier than I thought. Bless you for making me feel like I can do this!
You can do it!! 🌸☺️
Right!?! I just learned crochet and a granny square. I think I can do this too. It's so beautiful. I'm going to try color flowers but do half in green so it looks like a wild flower field.
This video is very clear, simple, detailed and very useful unlike other videos, thank you so much ❤❤ it inspired me to finish my project ❤
this is such a cute idea and i think id be much more excited to make a cute little flower at the end of the day than just adding a boring row to a blanket! im a little late seeing this 9 days into the year but i think i want to make one anyway
Oh I love these adorable mood flowers!! May not make a blanket but definitely will use as an applique!! Thanks so much for sharing!!😊
Beautiful design, Kara! I think it’s so awesome that you also worked to come up with a whole new design so you could show us how to do this. I hope to start one of these one day, my project list is never ending 😅
Thank you so much! Ahahah me too 😬
You have a great way of explaining the technique.
Really appreciate it. 🤩
Thank you so much!
PS. Flowers are coming along amazingly 😊
Great tutorial! You explain the details very well and you keep everything on camera and well centered! I appreciate that! So pretty! I have a WIP but this will be next! 🧶🫶🏼

Beautiful design
Hi
You make it look easy. The pattern is beautiful. Thank you🐣
I'm so glad you like it ☺️
This is so awesome. I have just learned to make a granny square and I really think I can do this flower. It looks easy enough but with a big impact visually. I'm going to go get some yarn and try this out right now. Thanks for the complete tutorial. Love love love it ❤️
Thank you so much!! I believe in you! 🌸
This is really pretty. Thank you so much for sharing & making it look so easy. I'm going to try it. 💕
they are soo pretty, I'm making the motifs right now and it is beautiful already.
Thank you! 🙌
Hey, I'm new to crochet and have mostly done arigurumi but have been dying to make a blanket... granny squares scare me a little so these are perfect I can't wait to get started on mine 😍
It’s pretty easy actually. You do 2 single crochet on each corner and all doubles 3 times each in each large hole. Crochet 3 singles and flip blanket when starting a new row. :)
Did you get over your fear? They made me nervous but as soon as I learned the basics everything I make now seems to be a granny square or motif.
Just stumbled upon your channel through this video! I love your voice and your smooth crocheting! Subscribed! I'm also in love with how pretty that yarn is! Hopefully I can get some in Canada? Who knows! 😂
Thank you so much!! Yes I believe deramores ships to Canada! 😊
My favorite 🌼 so far

Welcome!! Thank YOU so much 🥰🥰

I wonder…. I’ve heard about mood blankets and temperature blankets, the outside temperature dictates what color to use. I wonder if the center petals could be the temperature and the outside petals be your mood. So at the end of the year, you can see how the temperatures affected your moods. 😀
Oh wow! That's an excellent idea!! I definitely want to make another project with these flowers in the future with 2 different colours on each flower :)
I love that idea!!
I've been trying to figure out what exactly a mood afghan is - is it like the temperature one or can you do as many flowers as you want in a day? (Obviously you can do whatever you want to do, I just want to understand the concept.)
@@seaturtlepoppy7679 I would guess, you do a flower for whatever you think your dominant mood was for the day. But, the temperature changes from morning, to noon, to night; so you could do a flower for how you feel when you wake up, mid day, and how you feel before going to bed. Someone needs to do this. I want to see it!
@@KM-fe7xe - I had thought about doing two colors (if applicable), beginning and end of day … we’ll see 🙂
This is lovely might give it a go thank you 🙏💕
Thank you ☺️
thank you so much for putting me on Deramores 😭 i cant wait to get my order so i can make this
Yaaay!! I'm so happy with them too! Definitely my go to online shop ☺️
How do you crochet with so many rings?? They're really pretty! If I crochet with a ring on I feel like my yarn gets caught on it, or its too distracting for me XD
Ahahah I don’t know!! I don’t even notice they’re there now ahaha, they don’t really get tangled in the yarn either 😂
Hi,
It's so pretty!
Would you release the pattern as a granny square? I'd love to make a blanket using it!
ooo! I didn't think about turning it into a square because I'm using the flowers as is to make a blanket! However if that's something you'd like I can definitely try it out! ☺️
I think these in granny squares would be so cute!!
Zowie, I love this flower.❤
Love this! Would you ever make a tutorial by making each flower by themselves and then joining them together at the end? Or have any tips on doing that?
Thank you! I'm working on a tutorial on how to turn these flowers into squares so that's a different way on how to join them ☺️ as for joining them afterwards maybe you can sew them together (I'm not a sewer so I wouldn't know sorry!)
Fantastic! Liked and subbed from Newfoundland! Great pattern!
If you make it with 5 petals it looks like a cute star!
Love this pattern!!!!! So beautiful 😻 😍💜🥰
Lovely :3 I've just made one and i'm going to do mooore. Thank you for this video!
Yay! Have fun! 🌸☺️
So beautiful!!! Thank you for posting you’re awesome!

Can I do the same connecting technique to big sunflowers crochet? Their ends are picot stitches and have this sort of bulb?
I think so! If you can insert your hook into another flowers petal and finish the stitch like I did then you definitely can!
Instead of doing it the way You did it, can You do it in a row style?
Yes you can definitely attach them in straight rows instead of the diagonal pattern ☺️

How many balls of each colour did you get and how many flowers can be made from one ball of yarn?
I'm actually using yarn from my whole dk collection and scraps to complete this blanket so I don't actually know sorry!!! I think you can get about 25 - 30 flowers out of a 100g ball of dk yarn with a 4mm hook! Hope this helps ☺️
@@Rambutinaa Yes, it does. Thank you so much.
are you danish? 😁😊
I really need your help, how do you weave the ends in I want to make this!!
I usually thread the ends through the base/ bottom of the stitches if that makes sense!?
I have old livestreams on my channel where I’m crocheting these flowers and you might be able to skip it to a part where I’m weaving in the ends to see it visually!! Hope this helps ☺️
@@Rambutinaa ok thx i did that!! Maybe next video try to do something cow print. You have a new subscriber!!
I would like to see these turned into granny squres
Hello! Sorry for the late response! I actually tried filming a tutorial on how to turn these into squares but unfortunately it was a complete fail 😂
I was like *on the middle of a stitch "how am I gonna fit 6 onto here?" *realizes I only made five initial cluster stitches* oh..
i love this but i cant do it. i tried
Oh nooo! What part couldn’t you do?
